1 The Change!

On a bright sunny morning the birds were singing in front of a big and well kept house. Overall it made for a peaceful atmosphere and picturesque image. Inside the house and away from the beautiful scene was a sleeping Hispanic teenager. Said teenager was shielding himself from the sunlight shining down upon him from under the cover of his blanket.

As the beam of sunlight got brighter and more intense he was pulled out of the realm of morpheus and into the fiery grips of consciousness. Since there was no point in lingering in bed the teenager threw his covers off of him, and decided to start his day by going into his bathroom and to take care of his basic hygiene.

By the time 15 minutes came around the bathroom door opened. Exiting the bathroom we can see the teenager in nothing but a towel around his waist. As soon as he returned to his room he got dressed. As he looked into his bedroom mirror the boy realized that something wasn't right. He checked if he had all his clothes on then he saw that his iconic red hoodie wasn't on him.

As he went inside his closet he grabbed his red hoodie from the hanger that it was on. When the teenager put on his hoodie everything felt right. As he was walking out of his room he headed towards the stairs. Suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his head causing him to grip onto the railing at the top of the staircase. And as quick as it came the pain vanished like it wasn't there at all.

Then he heard it the sound that would change the very fabric of fate that had been woven into his entire being. The sound was a ding. Similar to the notifications that would come from a game or a phone.

"Ding"

SYSTEM:(system installation 85%....90%.....100% system installation was successful.) (Hello host this is the fate defying system sorry for the pain you felt. It was necessary for the stabilization of your soul. ) The system said in a British voice awfully similar to Alfred from batman returns.

As the teenager was hearing this he thought frantically and fearfully. [ what in the world is happening to me? Did I finally snap and go crazy!!!??]

SYSTEM:(No host you did not go crazy. Also I believe should let you know only you can hear me, and I'm talking to you through your mind.)

When the teenager heard this he had a look of confusion and concern on his face. He thought sadly [It's official I have voices in my head. That's a major clue towards me being crazy.]

SYSTEM:(Host as I said before you are not in any way crazy, and if you need proof how about we go through the tutorial. That should help you calm down.) The system said in a calm soothing voice that helped to ease the teenagers anxiety.

The teenager shook his head in acceptance then said with a firm voice. "Alright let's get this done with and call me Marco."

SYSTEM:(Ok then host...Sorry I mean Marco. lets begin. As you will see I have many functions that can be used as you please. They are listed in order by number. 1.Menu where you can change my settings to suit your needs. 2.Inventory It's an infinite subspace meant for storage. You can place anything in here as well as customize the looks of it as you please. 3.Shop It's where you can buy anything as long as you have the needed system points. We'll get to the system points and discuss the Shop later. 4. The Gacha Spinning Roulette of Luck AKA Gacha. As said in the name this is similar to the gambling roulettes found in casinos, but instead of just winning money you can win anything at all. lets say from a left sock only to 1million dollars it doesn't matter anything can come from it. Next we come to your second to last function. 5.status page AKA stats. When you access your stats you will see how strong you are in the form of numbers. It helps to define how much health, stamina, magic, etc... that you have. Finally we come to my last and more diverse function. 6.Mission bored AKA quests. To make sure you know ahead of time there are not any penalties to denying a quest. A quest is made when you are interested in something and I see an opportunity in you doing what interests you. For example your mom tells you to take out the trash. Then a quest would appear telling you to take out the trash. If you accept or not is up to you, but usually you would do it without the reward anyway. That's all the functions available to you.)

Marco: "Wow that was a lot of information in one go. I'm starting to believe you in the fact that I'm not crazy. Also before I test any of this out ``what are you?" Asked Marco in with a wary look on his face.

SYSTEM:(I am a part of your soul that was taken from you and changed by a higher being who is unknown to me. Don't worry your soul is unharmed and healed. The higher being just took me and made me into a system so I can assist you. Also as said in my name I'm here to change your fate. The higher being also wanted some entertainment, and the being saw an opportunity in you. That entertainment is by seeing how you would change your fate. Oh yeah sorry from going off topic, but basically I'm you in system form. The higher being didn't want me harming you so they thought that you wouldn't harm yourself and they were right. The pain was me being torn from your soul and being changed. Then being put back together with the rest of your soul. As said earlier this both healed your soul and made me so no worries.) said the system in a professor like tone.

Marco understandably had a look of terror on his face because there was a higher being capable of this. The teenager was both awed and horrified that something like this was possible. He sat down on the stairs and tried processing everything that had happened to him.
