2 Chapter 2. Acceptance

As Marco was trying to process all that has happened to him. He was shell shocked because his whole life was changed in mere minutes. He was also terrified because such a powerful being exists, and as usual if there's one there's more. He couldn't wrap his mind around such an enlightening, but terrifying concept that became a horrifying truth.

What felt like hours past for him as he sat there contemplating his life which in reality was about 30 minutes. His thoughts started to become orderly and less chaotic. Finally he spoke to the system

Marco:"Hey system if what you said is true does that mean there are more beings like that? Asked Marco with a determined and fiery look in his eyes.

System:(yes Marco there is. If you're worried about your friends and family then have no worries. Because higher beings never really bother paying attention to the mortal plain. The only reason why you caught that interest is because of how much your fate affects the world.) said the system trying to calm it's host.

Marco:"What do you mean by how much my fate affects the world? I'm no one important. I'm just a teenager who is still in high school. How could I affect the world's future that much?" asked Marko with a tone of self doubt and confusion.

System:(Marko as I'm you I know that you doubt yourself. So stop listening to the haters and grow a backbone. I know it's not what you wanted to hear but it's what you needed to hear. Together we will go through many things in your life. So it's best that you learn this lesson now rather than later. It might be hard for you, but we both know you can achieve great things. After all I am you so I know you can do it.) said the system with a stern but caring tone.

Marco:"Alright i'll try and I know that. It's just hard to do especially with how I've seen people act. I will try to thicker skin, but you know how people are since your me."

System:(It's not about having thicker skin. It's about trusting yourself and knowing that you can do anything. After all, look at how great I am, and just accepting that fact means we can live happier lives.) said the system in a thick British accent that helped to drive the fact into Marko's thick skull.

Marco:"Fine I get it alright now drop the subject and tell me what you meant by me having such a strong fate that it affects the world." said Marco with an annoyed look on his face.

System:(Alright fine what I mean by you having such an effect on the world is that. Your fate or destiny would either help to save or destroy the world. Also based on your character it would be former than the latter. So that means you would do something that would have helped in a drastic way. At least your future self would have now I don't know because with me by your side it changes everything. To sum it all up it means anything could happen so don't get stuck on believing your fate is set in stone.) said the system who had a wise vibe coming from it.

Marco:"So that means I don't have to worry about it and I'm good. That's helpful to know. Alright now I think about that out of the way, Why don't I play around with your functions and see what all I can do with them. Said Marco who had a look of curiosity and excitement.
