11 Envious Faces (1)

We had been told to take the stairs because they wanted the other couples to get there first and they wouldn't be stuck in an elevator because of shock. Instead, they would be seated and staring at us in shock. We arrived in front of the door quickly because there weren't many stairs.

The teachers had told us once we were at the top of the stairs to wait for Severus to open the door for us. We waited a few minutes before entering with our head of the house. There were verbal gasps and the Weasly's new soulmate had fainted. Pansy was looking at me and Dray like she wasn't surprised. I was moving my tails to get used to them and it was a natural reflex now that if I felt danger my tails would stand.

So when we walked to the front of the room and the Weasly in our year threw a pencil at my back my tails easily deflected it and it broke into shards. One of my wings had also expanded after Ronald threw another two things at Dray and I's backs. Dray didn't notice but I did so I had expanded a wing hardened with scales and feathers to cover Dray's back. My tails deflected the item and it hurled backward towards the Weasly.

I looked back to see it was the slug hurling jinx. I smirked and sat on the floor in front of the room. There was a long pillow that Dray joined me on. I looked down at the markings that had curled around the ruins for my wand. I put my arm around Dray's shoulders and we waited while the teacher talked amongst themselves.

'Dray, do you think that if your mother found out she'd be okay with it?' He looked confused, I pointed at him than me. His eyes flashed with understanding. He looked down then back up at me. 'I don't know Hadri, she might because she's ore understanding than father and she likes your respect, but I don't know.' We were whispering so no one heard us but Severus still did seeing as his ears had been prone to whispering by students during his classes. 'Dray, would you hate me if I said somethings that isn't what the 'chosen one' is supposed to say?'

'Hadri why would I?' I shrugged and breathed deeply. 'Dray, I don't hate the dark lord... he may hurt people that part I don't like all that much but, he has a method behind his madness.' I breathed deeply again. 'I went to sleep the night after arriving at my grandparents, and I had this long vision. It was of a young boy named Tom Riddle. He was abandoned in an orphanage and teased because he was special, and was like us.

But he soon got picked up by Dumbledore, and he was taken to Hogwarts, when he arrived there he was teased for being only a half-blood. Like I am because of my mother. He devoted himself to studying and proving he was more powerful than anyone of the people who teased him.

Soon in the library, he stumbled across the restricted section, he went there late at night and found a book on the dark arts. He also found a book on the history of Hogwarts. I didn't see exactly what he found out but anyways, he kept studying the dark arts. He tried helping Dumbledore but he didn't except the help. I found out later in the dream that kid, was Voldemort, The dark lord.' Dray looked at me after this lengthy explanation, motioning for me to get to the point. 'I went through the same things he did with muggles. I really can't hate him, he wanted justice on who wronged him.' Dray nodded and looked up at the figure walking towards us.

It was Severus, I was a little confused until the look of sympathy on his face hit me. I thought about the look in his eyes realizing he had heard my rant and explanation. I frowned and leaned onto Dray. The things on my head hindered slightly though so instead I just cuddled him.

We were lucky when the other teachers decided to start. "We will be explaining your forms now students, Ronald Weasly you are a rabbit and so is your partner enough said. Pansy Parkinson, you are a female draconic mix with a moon elf. Hermione Granger, you are a nymph and moon elf mix. Fred Weasly you are also a rabbit your partner is an Angel.

Luna Lovegood you are also an Angel, Your mate is a Devil. Then she got to us. Draco Malfoy you are a mix of an Arch Angel and a spawn of Lucifer." He smiled I smiled back at him. Severus took over the teacher's role for me.

"Hadrian Potter-Black you are a mix of a Kitsune, Dragon, Moon Elf of royal status, Angel, Nymph, Demon, and a vampire." I was a little shocked I had that many parts to myself. "You also have other mixes of your form but those are more difficult to classify." I nodded before rubbing Dray's back in between his wings. I felt my tails expand and wrap around him as if hugging him. I smiled and chuckled.

We were lead back to Hogwarts by the head of houses. I looked up and saw it was already night time. Dray and I were lead to our dorm by Severus before he nodded at us and went his own way. We entered our dorm to see that our whole wardrobe of clothes except my jogging clothes and any other clothes I had brought with me. So basically all of our robes were now the fancy imperial robes we were wearing right now. I sighed at the same time as Dray, we both looked at each other and started laughing.

We moved to the closet before picking out the new pajamas they had brought for us. They were temporary for our wings though. They were silkier than before I didn't find any tops for my pajamas and was touched they considered the fact I slept without a shirt on. I rolled my eyes slightly but continued to the bathroom anyways. I had decided to let Dray take the bath while I showered to conserve time.

We both quickly finished at the same time and broke out in another fit of laughter. We changed into our clothes and I was saddened that I couldn't kiss him goodnight or I might scratch his tongue with my teeth. I sighed opting for a kiss to his forehead instead.

He liked it anyways. We laid in bed for a while just listening to the echos of the castel at night.
