12 Chapter 11

"Master Gen. I've got something." A female voice echoed the lab. The figure in front of the computers, stopped doing whatever he's doing. Ever since Tan is kicked out of his post, Gara is his right hand man. Or right hand woman. Gen slowly turns around to face her. She could only see a silhouette of him. That's the only way they ever seen him. Only Tan ever saw Gen. Gara wasn't a high ranked team member, so she's not allowed to see him. But now, things are different. She almost freaked out when she was informed about her promotion. She's now above Tan. She no longer have to go through his assult daily. She's happy about it. And now she did everything in order to keep her services as helpful as it can.

"First of all, I'm guessing thay you know about your position here." Gen started.

"Yes, Master Gen. I'm honoured." Gara replied. She's a young girl with reddish thick hair and small frame covered with black catsuit with green highlights on edges. Her eyes were silver and her lips was a light pink.

"It's past the day for you calling me master. Being my new right hand woman, I expect you call me Boss. I've got someone else to cover the Master title, you know?" Gen said in his dark yet funny way. He chuckled which scared her. She clearly didn't wanna know what will happen if he's mad.

"Y..yes boss." She said stuttering a bit.

Gen didn't replied immediately, but replied. "I can sense your fear, Gara. But don't worry, I'll let you know when you should be scared." Gen said.

"I understand." Gara said.

"Good." Gen paused for a bit. "Now, report me, what is that you found? Is it my Luna? Her dead body?" Gen demanded an answer.

Gara sighed and she's ready to report her first information as a right hand woman. "Sir. I haven't found Luna yet. Somehow there's a barrier preventing our signal to track her time machine. Either it destroyed or it may have lost in some unknown timeline. But I found something else. Possibly helpful, even."Gara said attracting hus attention.

"What is that you found?" Gen spoke showing his interest.

"There's someone else contacted her before we lost her signal. And that someone is here, in our timeline possibly helping her out. I almost pinpointed their location. That way they we will know where is Luna hiding." Gara reported.

There's a silence and her breathing intensified. She doesn't know what is he thinking. Is he mad? Will he hurt her? She doesn't know. But she tried her best. She wish Gen won't be furious about anything she said. But she almost flinched when she heard him laugh. "I'm impressed, Gara. You proved that not everyone here isn't a fool. Tan failed, but you always brings me something helpful. Now, I'm trusting you with further investigation. Catch that helper of hers and I want that runt alive. Can you do that?" Came gens reply. Gara didn't know but it felt good when he complimented her. Her posture straightened up in pride.

"Yes, boss. You can count on me."

(BACK IN 21ST CENTURY)

They stood up at the top part of the mountain, overlooking the greenery spread across the land. But that's not why they are here. Nobita never showed up. They waited for a long time, but he still haven't returned. It was around 4:30 in the morning, when they were out for searching. Yumi and Kota stayed back, because Kota cannot climb. They haven't thought when they brought him with them. They just forgot about the rain.

Shizuka, Gian, Suneo and Dekisuki, looked around the place and it's past 10 in the morning. Where's Nobita? Is he even in the same mountain, or they have to look for him on the other mountains as well. There's three mountains with only one can be explored. Other two is just way too dangerous for hiking. But if Nobita chose either of them, they're following him.

At this point, they're freaking out. Nobita' safety is questionable with no answers to give. But there's another concern, which scared them more. Nobita was really bad at anything physical. He never was good at hiking either. They should've thought of everything. But now they're suffering. Dark clouds turning more cold each seconds passed. Another downpour is predictable and it will be dangerous to hang around in such rain.

Shizuka dropped on the ground emotionally drained. She really wants this to be a nightmare. But she knew it is real. Because the dream of Nobita returning have come true and now the nightmares that haunted them coming true as well. If it happened two years ago, they won't be this devastated. But now they know his value. Without him, the void never will vanish from their hearts. Shizuka isn't crying. It's because she wasted it all last night.

Others looks down at her concerned. They gotta find him faster or else Shizuka will literally have a mental breakdown. Nobita' mental state is hurting to watch, and they don't want Shizuka go through the same. "Keep a calm mind, Shizuka. We'll find him. I'm sure we will." Dekisuki tried to encourage her.

Shizuka looks at them and shook her head. "I know, but I can't. I'm worried too much, guys. I just hope you're right at least." Shizuka replied sadly.

"We've always found one another, remember? This time won't be any different." Suneo said.

Gian clenched his own fist and gritted his teeth. "I'm gonna beat his sorry ass, that next time he will think thousand times before run off alone." Gian said. That's his way of showing concern.

"I hope there's no second time. First we find him and never let this happen ever again." Suneo said.

They nodded and Shizuka stood up. "Maybe we should keep moving, now. That way we may find him before the rain. And let's hope he didn't caught up in last night's storm." Shizuka mumbled only for them to hear.

"You said a good point, Shizuka." Dekisuki said with a smile.

Then they started their journey back to the cabin or possibly other two mountains. If they'll find him there, then they won't give up just now.

They returned and climbed down the mountain. It' however was harder than climbing up. The slippery ground almost threw them off balance and they had to support one another to keep each other safe. Gian is their protector in a way. He kept an eye on them. Even they slipped at least a bit, he's quickest to get a hold of him.

Shizuka' mind was everywhere. Even though she told herself to keep calm and concentrated, she was helpless. Maybe this is how Nobita felt. Maybe there's a huge storm in him that won't die down unless he dies with it. There's no wonder why he's always on the verge of snapping. And truth to be told, it's the most helpless thing that ever happened to her.

"I'm sorry for slowing us down, guys. But I can't help it." Shizuka apologized out of the blue. She didn't even meant to say it though. It' just her thoughts haunting her.

"Stop saying that Shizuka. We get you." Dekisuki replied in concern.

Before any of them say a something caught her attention immediately. She spun around and her eyes locked on to something. How could they miss something like this? It' so obvious to not see it.

She's watching a path split from the original path they followed. Grass, tree branches and rocks almost blocked the way, but what caught her eyes are, the disturbed grass. It' almost like their bent forcefully from the middle.

"What's wrong, what happened?" Gian looks back at Shizuka.

However, she didn't wait around. Instead she's already sprinting straight towards the path that caught her attention.

"HEY, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" Others are shouted only to ignored by her. Or better say she didn't heard them or didn't payed much attention.

All there is to see is a way forward. That's the only thing there is. The way of her last hope. There's a feeling saying she almost near him. But how near? She'll know only if they find him. She ran over many things and almost everything wounded her. But luckily it didn't hurt much. She care less about herself right now. Her objective is her main priority. Even if she fall off a cliff, she won't slow down still.

Footsteps came right behind her and soon a powerful hand came amd grabbed her before her both legs go off of the cliff. Shizuka' eyes were wide and her heart beat fast and she almost yelped seeing the fall In front of them.

"SLOW DOWN. WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING." Gian shouted and dragged her back so her legs are touching the ground.

"What's gotten into you all of a sudden? Why were you running?" Suneo asked concerned.

Shizuka was only breathing loudly and they heard how troubled her breathing was too. "Guys let her cool down. It's probably andranelin making her all acted up. But I'm sure there's something." Dekisuki said to the other two boys.

Gian sighed and slowly let Shizuka go. He was cautious. Because in his eyes, she was running and almost jumped off of a cliff. But he knew she is not that mindless. But was cautious anyway.

Shizuka' breathing started to slow down and she just points down at the cliff. "Nobita." That's the only thing she could say. And the other three boys had their eyes widened. That's when they looked down. They saw evidence of someone being there. And they know who that is.
