30 Lazy Friend

As soon as Li Weiyin stepped out of the Dingfeng Group building she breathed a sigh of relief. The air suddenly felt a lot fresher.

She pulled out her phone to make a phone call and a soft, sleepy voice soon sounded from the other end, "Who is it?"

"Comrade Guo Miaoxuan, it's already 2pm, are you still sleeping?" Li Weiyin looked at her watch speechlessly.

"Yinyin," the voice said coquettishly with a sudden rush of energy, "I'm still sleepy!"

"Last night... No, this morning to be exact, what time did you go to bed?" Li Weiyin asked as she walked over to the road and flagged down a taxi.

"I slept at 5am, hehe," Guo Miaoxuan felt a little embarrassed to say this.

"I'll be there in roughly 1 hour with some ingredients. Don't let me see your pigsty," Li Weiyin said impatiently before she hung up the phone.

She then took the taxi to the vegetable market. The vegetables in the afternoon weren't as fresh as in the morning, so she tried her best to buy as much as she could. After that, she headed towards Guo Miaoxuan's home with various bags of shopping.

Guo Miaoxuan was the first person she met in primary school. That one meeting led to a lifetime friendship. Even now, their relationship was extremely good.

The Guo's ran a building materials business. Their company was neither big nor small, but they were still considered rich.

Guo Miaoxuan was an only child, but her parents were busy year-round, so she was basically free to do whatever she wanted.

Li Weiyin's taxi drove into Guo Miaoxuan's estate and she saw Guo Miaoxuan waiting thoughtfully at the entrance with a white samoyed.

"Woof woof woof!" the samoyed broke free from Guo Miaoxuan and ran towards Li Weiyin as soon as it saw her.

This samoyed was called Angel. It was a stray dog that Li Weiyin unwittingly encountered while she was traveling overseas.

At that time, Angel was shedding like crazy and appeared as though it had been abandoned because it was seriously ill. Li Weiyin happened to be camping. She gave it a sausage and it sat outside her tent for an entire night.

Later, it followed her and she brought it to a pet shop. After spending tens of thousands, she managed to cure it. Originally, she wanted to help it find a good family, but it ended up running back to her.

No animal nor human had ever been that attached to her. So, Li Weiyin found a way to bring it back with her. But, she was worried that Li Weixin would abuse it, so she entrusted Guo Miaoxuan with it.

Guo Miaoxuan was dressed all in pink; she was a girly girl that particularly favored pink.

Not only was her voice naturally soft, but her entire body was delicate. With the addition of her exquisite doll-like face, she attracted numerous men.

Angel ran over to Li Weiyin and ran two laps around her body. It then rubbed against her and tried to help her hold her things.

Li Weiyin placed the bags on the ground and it immediately grabbed some with its mouth.

"I'll carry the rest," Guo Miaoxuan approached and stretched out her soft hand in an obsequious manner.

Li Weiyin looked at her dizzying peach blossom covered nails. They were uniquely exquisite. "I'll do it myself."

With Guo Miaoxuan's strength, even walking a few steps made her wheeze, so Li Weiyin did not dare to trouble her.

"Don't be like that, Yinyin," Guo Miaoxuan stretched out her hand and grabbed the bag with onions and garlic, "I can carry a little."

Li Weiyin looked at Angel who was carrying a few bags and looked at Guo Miaoxuan, "Even the dog is disappointed in you."

Accustomed to her friend's rejection, Guo Miaoxuan knew she had no excuses, so she continued to say coquettishly, "I'm hungry..."

She was initially planning to order takeaway, but now that the chef was back, why should she let herself suffer?
