4 Chapter 4: Content Warning, Gore.

I was in a heavy state of shock, dragging the body out into a pre-dug hole in the ground, barely able to hear. I buried him halfway, leaving around 6 feet between the body, putting a dead animal on top, so if the police would see the animal and assume that it had been buried by another animal. I tossed the gun in as well, spending the next 20 minutes or so covering the creature as well, pouring some vodka on it as a final ritual, tossing the bottle in the trash. It was just her and her brother now, I might add.

Bleach, water, a mop, lets go. I dragged them into my room, first stripping the bed sheets so they could be washed. Such a shame, I just got them out of the washer yesterday. I tucked them into a pillowcase, tossing them into the hallway, rubbing a little bit of Vicks under my nose and grabbing some paper towel, scooping up the guts and putting them into the trashcan that I had. Oh well, it had to be taken out anyway. I poured some bleach and water into a bucket, scrubbing at the floor, not caring about the sticky, dried blood on my shirt, huffing from the work, my hands burning from the bleach.

I scrubbed down the wall as well, finishing with the mop and walking down to the sink, pouring the dirty liquid into the sink, gagging a little. It looked disgusting so I'm not gonna describe it. Moving on, I grabbed the trashcan and the trash from the kitchen, and put the bag from my room into the bigger one, taking it to the curb, shivering from the bitter cold. I checked the mail once more, pulling out a letter, not thinking much of it. I walked back into the house, washing my hands well. I had tossed the letter on the counter, walking back to the door with some disinfecting wipes, wiping down the door knob.

God, everything was aching. my foot, my shoulders and neck would not to hurting. My god my ears would not stop ringing. I grimaced, hissing loudly, I gripped onto the counter, dizzy from cold reality slapping me in the face. The heat drained from my body, as did my vision, collapsing hard against the cold, tiled floor. I awaken a few moments later, barely propping myself up, leaning against the cabinets, my whole body trembling like crazy.

It took quite a while to get the shaking and spinning to stop, but I eventually got up and sat in a chair, the last few moments flashing by my eyes quickly. My mind was filled with worry and fear. I just committed murder. Should I turn myself in? No, no, I still have to take care of my brother, I couldn't do that. He could stay at our grandmother's house, but we haven't seen her since mom died. I got up, slowly inching my way up the long, winding staircase.

I knocked on the bathroom door, softly calling out, "Hey, are you okay? Do I need to get the first aid kit?"

No response. I guessed he didn't hear me over his shower, so I moved on to put my clothes in the dryer, remembering the letter I had tossed onto the counter...or was it the table. I don't care to remember. I wobbled my way out to that room, scooping it up and ripping it open, reading it happily. I was accepted into it, as long as I could pay the reservation fee. I began to tremble again as I read the amount. "81,206 Rubles...I can't pay that.." I breathed out, my one hop returning to crumbles, as I clutched it hopefully, newfound tears slipping down my face. "I can't pay that..It's too much..unless I.." I mumbled, my brain headed to a darker side. "No. No respectable woman would do that..but I'm desperate so.."

I opened my phone, huffing, fetching my father's wallet that he had tossed on the counter. As poor as I may look, my father made a hefty sum of money and I'm sure he wouldn't mind me taking it, right? I just transferred the money to my bank account, watching the numbers skyrocketing, and I dried the tears that were flowing down my face. "okay, okay...tomorrow..I'll go to the bank and pull out the money..send it over..buy my brother and I new clothes, keep us both healthy and fed." I mumbled, slamming his wallet down.
