1 A day in Sunflower Village (a short story)(the ending is your imagination)

In the small humble village with the name 'Sunflower Village', a group of 14 year olds were playing basketball. Maybe around 10 of them. And among the 10, theres a girl, her bestfriend, and a kid who moved from the city.

After a few rounds, the girl, named Sky, saw the clock. 9.45. Oh no. She looked to her bestfriend, Lane, giving the signal "WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE IF WE DONT LEAVE NOW!!". It seems that Lane understood.

[(of course he understood. somehow having a bestfriend gives u the power to read minds. haha jkjk)] (continue)

In the next minute, Lane screamed:"STEAM BUNS! STEAM BUNS!".Then everyone 'siam*', making way for Sky, Lane, and another 2 friends.

'Eh?! Are they crazy or something?' That thought came into Kido, the city kid's mind as he watch the drama scene unfolding right before his eyes.

(i mean, he's right. Its not everyday u see kids screaming steam buns then suddenly start running)(*= siam is hokkien. It means to avoid/move away from a position)

Just then he saw Lane running towards him. "Ok, if you wanna know whats going on right now, go home, take a shower, and meet us at the bakery at the corner over there," Lane said while pointing to the shop in the corner. 'Bright Days Bakery' "We will answer your questions there. See you," Before Kido was able to speak, Lane started 'naruto' running back home.

(heh, naruto running. Im a genius.)(Ok i'll stop now, sorry)

"Well i am curious so why not," said Kido as he walked back home to shower.

The bakery in the corner. The heart of Sunflower Village. Eventhough it looks old and run down, everyone loves it. The bakery is as old as when the village got its name. A gem opened by an old lady called Lotus. 'Bright Days Bakery' was opened in year 1973 by Granny Lotus and her husband when they were 30 years old. Business was good, everything simple and smooth sailing.

But as the saying goes,(and its true), everything has its impermanence.

Soon after, her husband developed cancer at the age of 50. "He lived a good, healthy and happy life. I was blessed to have a good husband like him," is what Granny Lotus often tell herself.

(Nothing is permanent, whether its good or its bad, so cherish what u have and live in the moment.)

(When the time comes for when someone/something you care about and love is gone, its ok. It may be scary, it may feel lonely. Its ok to feel sadness, anger, and lots of emotions. But its all ok. It is ok, and it will be ok. As long as YOU believe its gonna be ok. So instead of fearing, try embracing, understanding and accepting what happened. Its fine to feel sad, feel confuse, so, let it go. Release your emotions. Its better than bottling it up right?)

(ok sorry about my rambling but if you are going through loss of someone / something remember, its ok 👌.)

So to continue....

And so, it seems that Granny Lotus's karma is good because on one night, 4 years after the loss of her husband, Granny Lotus found an abandoned baby girl. Her adopted grandaughter, Sky.

Okok enough about the past, back to the present, at the bakery entrance, Kido is about to go in. What greeted him was a whiff of butter, the warmth of the oven, toasty feeling all over.

Now what exactly is it that makes everyone act like that just now. To put it simply, (drumroll pls....) its time to make PAO(steam buns with filling) and MAN TAO!! (steam buns(empty)). Yea!!! Delicious.

Everyday, at exactly 10, Sky, Lane, and 2 more friends. And, if they make the pao nicely, they get treats!!

(who doesn't like treats am i right?)

I guess now Granny will have another helper, Sky, Lane and Kido will become friends, and the 3 of them will go on more adventures together! Yay!

Wait wait. This is not the end, for the end does not exist. Hehe, i be pulling your legs, hehe. Now i wont continue this, at least until someone reads it. So try thinking about the rest of story. How will it be like? What happens next? Im just providing the start. Its up to You now.

No time? Well, why dont u just take 5 minutes. Just 5 minutes everyday and write down what u imagined. No creativity? Too childish? Too old for this? Well let me tell u this and pls remember this, its never to late nor is it childish to have fun. To just go into your dreamland. To just let go of reality for a sec.

No stress. U wanna do this or don't wanna do this is your decision. But always remember to let go, relax, chill. Even if its just for 1 minute its good enough already.

(hehe, im rambling non stop again)

But if u reached here, thank you. Thank you so much for your patience with me. I hope you have a nice day, week, month, year, life.

See you. 😉😄😁
