2 Seven Coloured Lightning

Five days passed in a blink.

Except for the Core Palace and the Snow Palace, The Kingdom Of Light and its other palaces were extremely busy during these five days.

They gathered each and every potential cultivator to raid the senior princess and did not hesitate to use their resources to arm their cultivators from head to toe.

The Lightning Palace had it even more harder as they had nearly emptied their resources and brought their bodies to the peak conditions.

The Heavenly Thunder Axe was a greedy weapon. It required a large amount of cultivation True essence and cultivation blood essence to showcase its true abilities, making the Lightning Palace not knowing wether to laugh or cry.

Far away from the Kingdom of Light, in the core of the 'Heavenly Beast Forest', the sixteen year old 'Hei Yi' held a pure white coloured tree branch in his hand as he anxiously circled around a small wooden house.

Inside this small house was his mother who was widely known as the senior princess. She was giving birth to his little brother.

Hei Yi anxiously looked at the skies, praying that no mishaps would happen at this important moment, alas, his prayer seemed to be unanswered.

Within few seconds, a rumbling sound echoed throughout the forest as if the skies were breaking apart, and cracking around. A moment later, a huge 'Space Crack' appeared above the Heavenly Beast Forest and old cultivators rushed out of the Space Crack like chickens.

At first glance, Hei Yi could already guess who his opponents were! He gritted his teeth in anger. "The Ten Palaces."

Without any words, these cultivators summoned their unfathomable Light Force cultivation and attacked the small house with their best offensive laws.

Their ultimate attacks summoned the light elements and distorted reality, the skies bent to their wills and the land cried its submission. In fact, the momentum of their attacks was strong enough to destroy the whole Planet.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A transparent barrier that could not be any more sturdier, rose out of the small house and collided with these unfathomable attacks. It spread out evenly and before long, covered the whole Heavenly Beast Forest, thus protecting it from any harm.

Seeing the barrier blocking thousands of the attacks from the strongest cultivators from the kingdom of light, Hei Yi's expression became a little more relaxed.

His mother's barrier gave him a sense of strong reliance. As long as this barrier was around, Hei Yi did not fear anyone.

These cultivators attacked once again, but seeing that they could not crack the barrier even with their strongest attacks, seeing that their laws that could shake the earths and destroy the skies not helping them, they gave up.

Hei Yi's face beamed in pride. He even wanted to laugh out and provoke these old fools, he could only hold his scolding back due to his sheer willpower.

A minute passed, and no one attacked the barrier anymore. Hei Yi's cold eyes slowly scanned each and every individual and he committed their appearance into his memory. If he lived after today, he pledged to destroy these old fools with his own hands.

Suddenly, the skies above these old cultivators brightened. The whole sky was so bright that even Hei Yi was blinded by it. His heart raced dangerously as he adjusted his vision and looked up.

High above, beyond the skies, in a far away place, an Axe glowed white with dangerous thunder cracking around it.

The whole Lightning Palace stood around the axe and hundreds of these unfathomable cultivators poured their blood essence, their true essence, their soul and their everything into the Heavenly Thunder Axe in this moment.

As more time passed, the Lightning around the Axe turned brighter and brighter, until the Lightning around it turned red, but this was not the end, it continued to brighten until it turned into a seven coloured lightning.

The Lightning Palace became a little emotional when they saw this seven coloured lightning. This was the highest level of lightning from the Heavenly Thunder Axe and it was also their pride.

Their progenitor had single handedly swept through the numerous worlds with this Axe. The main reason for his achievements was that he was able to summon this seven coloured lightning on his own. Even though he died at an early age, while he was still alive, the Lightning Palace was said to be on the same level as the Core Palace of the Heaven, at the same level as the strongest palace which governed the other 12 palaces.

So the seven coloured lightning became the symbol of their Lightning Palace and it was also their pride.

Being able to witness the legendary seven coloured lightning made them extremely emotional.

Hei Yi looked at the seven coloured lightning and gritted his teeth. As much as he wanted to deny it, he knew that this lightning could break his mother's barrier.

His grip on the white branch became more firmer as he soared into the sky. He wanted to intercept the seven coloured lightning before it could destroy the barrier.

Seeing him flying towards them, the cultivators from the ten palaces grinned evilly. The Enforcement Palace, who had a deep animosity with Hei Yi advanced downwards to intercept him, and as soon as he stepped outside the barrier, they swarmed him with their full powered attacks.

Hei Yi annoyingly swung the white branch in his hand. Every swing was like a hurricane, taking a life along, but,... there were just too many to kill.

"First form, World Tree!" Hei Yi bit his tongue and used an attack that was out of his control range. His mother had repeatedly warned him not use this attack until absolute necessity. Even his mother did not know what kind of side effects this attack would leave on him, but the situation demanded it.

The white branch in his hand did not hesitate as it pierced into his body and sucked on his blood.

It drank his blood and grew larger and larger until it became a large tree that was about hundred kilometres wide, and about thousand kilometres tall.

This tree shone like a star and it's branches danced like a peacock. In an instant, hundreds of cultivators lost their lives to it branches.

The tree continued dancing with it's branches. Anyone who came into contact with its branches were destroyed instantly no matter how strong they were.

"Retreat!" The Palace Head of the Enforcement Palace immediately ordered his group to retreat from Hei Yi's attack range.

Seeing the frightened cultivators of his Enforcement palace shiver and fall back, the Enforcement Palace Head gritted his teeth and added. "Don't fear! He can't maintain that state for long!"

It was true that Hei Yi could not maintain this form for too long, and he lost control of it within few seconds.

He did not earn a lot of time, but it was still enough for him to intercept the seven coloured lightning. He flew like a jet and stood above the barrier with his arms wide open.

"COME!!!" He shouted at the skies as the seven coloured lightning reached him. He raised his hands as if to destroy the lightning with his bare hands!

Back in the Heavenly Beast Forest, in a remote cave in the north side of the forest, a majestic Throne that gave out an aura that was more ancient than time itself, glowed black and an 'unbelievable and 'nonexistent' Law appeared out of it.

This Law slowly moved out of the cave and transversed space to reach Hei Yi.

The Law moved slowly, but time seemed to be stopped while it moved.

This unparalleled Law easily penetrated the sixteen year old Hei Yi's body and changed something fundamental inside.
