She had a long day at work since fashion week was just a month away. But she rushed to see her parents' house because her mother sounded distraught when she called. 

However, she should have known better that it was just another of her mother's shit show, one of her ploys to lure her back into her arms.

"I want you to see her." She heard her mother's voice. But it was not her mother's face she saw. Somewhat, she imagined another image in her head.

Honestly, guilt still ate her guts out until now. It had been years, but she still felt shitty for turning her back on the only person who believed in her.

"I need you to talk to her." Her mother ordered her, assuming she knew who she was talking about.

But what her mother did not know was that. She already tried several times to confront her. She even went to look for her, but unfortunately, she could not face her.
