2 The Disease

"That old man..." Angus clenches his phone and cuts it. He keeps his phone in he pocket and readies his bike. "Hmm?"

Angus looks in front of him and there are about 10 more eyeless demons right in front of him. "Oye kiddos!" Angus calls up the demons in front of him. "listen up would ya?" He says while leaning on his bike's frontier.

"You wouldn't mind if daddy took a straight path down there, would ya?" Angus says with a smirk. "I don't have time to deal with some problem kids like you." Angus says as he puts on his helmet. The demons don't give any kind of reaction.

"Man, would any of you demons listen to me at least for once?" Angus says with a disappointed tone.

A demon rushes towards Angus and smacks his bike's frontier. "HEY JACKASS!" Angus looks angrily at the demon. "I know you can't speak." Angus says with an angry stare. "BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO HIT MY BIKE!!!" Angus punches the demon right in it's face.

Angus begins to hit the accelerator, "Now you have done it!" He says as he continuously accelerates the bike. "Time for you to die!" Angus runs his bike at full speed and catches the demon who he punched with his left hand while accelerating the bike with his right. "WOOOHOOO!" Angus joyfully expresses.

Angus skates the demon on the floor and then throws it to another one. Both the demon vaporise to ashes. Angus gets his bike ready for another wave of demons. "So which one is the next one?" Angus looks at the demons with a smirk.

All the demons jump in the air at a single to attack Angus. Angus uses his bikes front tier to lift his bikes back tier then he jumps right at them.

While in the air, he unzips his guitar case and gets his sword out while kicking a demon right in it's face and then proceeds to remove his helmet. The demon vaporises into ashes.

While in air, Angus spins his sword and himself like a merry-go-round. Killing all the demons in the air and landing onto the ground while carrying the sword.

"Ah jeez, this round spinning was too much for me...Feel like puking..." Angus says and pukes at the side of the road. "Ah~" Angus leaves out a whisper moan. "This feels so good." Angus says with a sense of relief.

Angus looks at his bike and remembers something. "Oh yeah, I need to get to that old man, Makumi said that the idiot was going to die...Tsch! Not so easily, old man!" Angus says and runs towards his bike.

Angus readies his bike but a sort of a wind flies Angus and the bike away. The bike crashes and gets destroyed causing a huge explosion. "GOD DAMN IT!" Angus says as he bangs his feet to the ground clenching his fist. "CAN'T YOU DEMONS TAKE A HOLIDAY OF SOME SORT?!" Angus screams out.

He looks into the air and it's a bird with two tails, brown feathers, dark coloured eyes with magma in it and a huge peak. Not to mention, the birds size is almost as big as a 1st floor building.

"Why the hell are you sitting there birdie?" Angus looks confused. "KWAH!!!" The bird says whatever he said. "Huh?! What are you a crow?" Angus asks, he gets even more confused. "Well, that's not the point, the point is...WHY...THE...HELL..DID...YOU...DESTROY MY BIKE?!!!!" Angus points at the bird. "KWAH!!!" The bird says without...expressing his feelings I guess... "Speak you demon!" Angus says. "Don't Kwah me!" He continues.

"Do you even understand how expensive bikes are now-a-days?" Angus questions pointing both his hands at his destroyed bike. "Unless you wanna be my new ride, go and get me a new bike!" Angus folds his hands. "And that's my order." Angus says.

"KWAH!!!" The bird expresses again... "Oh? Your not going to you say? You want to fight you say? Don't regret it is what I will say birdie." Angus says with a smirk. "I maybe a little too much for you." Angus says as he begins to hop like a boxer. "KWAH!!!!!" I have nothing to add to that.

Angus readies his sword and begins to flip it in his right hand. Angus stops flipping his sword and readies it. He begins to dash and starts to climb the building in front of him. Angus grabs the ledge at the top of the building and hops even higher then birdie. Birdie keeps on looking at Angus.

Angus begins to flip himself in the air with the sword and then he lands a perfect hit on birdie's neck but... "What the?!" The birdie stares at Angus as Angus strikes at Birdie's neck but nothing happens. The Birdie screams and a huge wind send Angus flying towards a tower. "Mother of Jesus Christ, the hell was that about?" Angus says as he gets up.

"Seems like your not like those normal demons huh?" Angus questions birdie. Angus brushes away dirt from his clothes. "Well then, guess I will just use my fist to fight you instead of my sword." Angus says as he flips his sword in the air and begins to walk forward. The sword lands perfect in the guitar case and Angus pulls up the zip. "After all, it might catch a some kind of rust if I use it against you little birdie." Angus says as he begins to hop like a boxer.

"KWAH!!!" Angus's eyes widen as he suddenly gets pinned down by birdie. "Well, that's new." Angus says look right up towards the beak of birdie. "But hey, at least I am alive." Angus says very calmfully. "But you did one big mistake birdie." Angus says with a smirk. "Kwah?" Birdie looks confused. "You left my hands wide open." Angus says as catches the birdie's legs. "If your tough, I am strong." Angus says as he begins to lift Birdie's left leg on which he is pinned down to the ground with. "HAAAAAA!!!!" Angus screams while lifting the Birdie's leg like anyone else because screaming makes you stronger.

Angus lifts Birdie's leg and Birdie was about to fall on the ground but... "Hey, do me a favour and tell those damn demons that I have had enough fun for the night would you?" Angus says to Birdie as he holds on of his legs. Angus begins to swing Birdie in a circle. "Time for you..." Angus begins swinging harder, "TO DISAPPEAR!!!!" Angus throws Birdie in the air.

Angus looks for Birdie in the air but he disappears for real. "Why does tonight have to be so chaotic?!" Angus questions himself while shaking his head. "Technically, that's every night..." Angus says as he begins to walk down the street. "Now I have to catch a taxi to that hospital." Angus says as he waits for it on the street.

Angus finds a taxi and he begins making his way to makeshift hospital. The place where the person who adopted Angus was admitted just the same night. Angus finally reached the hospital.

Angus runs to the top floor of the hospital where he see's Makumi and Jack and other of their few relatives here. "Where's old man?" Angus asks to Makumi who has a sad face. Angus then looks towards Jack. "Hey Jack, where is he?" Angus asks Jack.

"He didn't make it."

A man, he has glasses on with a silver coloured suit, he has bedded hair and is without any doubt rich. His body mass seems to be quite average and is most probably in his mid 40's. His name is Dahiru Yonohara, Makumi's father.

"Very unfortunate of him..."

A woman, about the same age as Dahiru, she has short black hair and has heavy make up around her face. Most probably to make her look young. Her name is Sally Yonohara, she's Makumi's mother.

"It was his time anyways..."

A woman, she is about the same age as the other two too, she has long black hair with a clip on it, even with her age without any makeup she looks really young, Her name is Jenny Griffith, she's Jack's mother.

"What are you doing here anyways...Boy?"

A man, he seems to be ageing really quickly, his hair are also white and his about to hit 50. He has a fat body and his name is Chris Griffith, his Jack's father.

"I am obviously here to see the old man!" Angus says to Chris. "And what do you mean by he didn't make it?" Angus looks at Dahiru and questions him. Makumi holds onto Angus's hoodie. Angus's eyes widen. "I see..." Angus says. "Can I at least...See him?" Angus asks for the permission to go and see his old gramps. Chris sighs. "This is obviously the last time we will be meeting boy, so sure thing, go ahead and see him." Chris says.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN LAST TIME?!" Jack rages out. "Jack...You do not plan to meet this boy again, rigggght?" Jenny gives out an evil smile and Makumi is already scared. "Damn messed up family..." Angus thinks to himself with his angry mind. He realises he can't do anything to them, after all, they are humans and not demons. "That's right, I will be seeing him for one last time." Angus says as he puts both his hands in his hoodie's pocket "His body is in the morgue though." Sally says. "The morgue?" Angus looks confused. "Yeah, those doctors said that they never saw such a disease before so they wanted to test some things out." Sally replies to Angus. "I see..." Angus says and begins making his way towards the hospital morgue.

Outside the hospital,

"DAMN IT!" Jack smashes his fist against the wall. Makumi looks sad. "I wish we could do more for Angus...His always looking out for us when we need his help..." Makumi says. "That is true...He even helped me once when some bullies were trying to bully me..." Jack says with a sad face. "If not for him, I wouldn't have made it out alive from a car accident..." Makumi says. "Tsch!" Jack is angry and Makumi is sad.

Inside the hospital,

The morgue, the fresh dead bodies are still there and the one's which aren't fresh have already been stored inside the freezer.

A female doctor stands right in front of an old man's body, she's young, most probably in her early 20's. She has long purple hair, black eyes and is wearing a doctor's coat along with a blue shirt tucked into a black skirt and a doctor's mask.

"You know, doctors don't test dead bodies in morgues right?"

Angus walks into the morgue. The doctor sighs. "You know Angus, sometimes you are just going to kill me with you randomly appearing out of nowhere." The doctor removes her mask and a beautiful face appears under it.

"What can I do?" Angus says as he raises both his hands. "When I see a sexy woman, I just walk into the room they are in." Angus says with a smile. "Unless of course, they have a husband...Or a boyfriend in that room." Angus continues. The doctor chuckles. "Your such a goof." The doctor says. "So Mia, what do we have here?" Angus asks to the doctor.

Mia Train is the doctor's name abd she was the first person to find out that Angus hunts demons and she is the only person to find it out. How you ask? Well...She is the only person Angus was able to save so far. That's how...

"What I found will fascinate you." Mia says. Angus looks at his old man's body and there are spores growing all over his body which glow red in colour. His eyes seem to be swollen with those spores. One of the spore's seems to be blasted and red blood drips out of it.

"So remember when you saved me you gave me this demon book, well, I read something in it and these spores you see, it has to do something with it." Mia says holding a black book in her hand. "What would that be?" Angus asks.

"I will explain it but first let's get this body to the family." Mia says. "Sure..." Angus says without expressing himself. As Mia doesn't know Angus is the old man's adopted grandson, he doesn't speak much about it to Mia. Mia runs quickly out of the morgue and Angus keeps an eye to the family as Mia speaks with them.

Soon, the family leaves, Jack and Makumi try to find Angus but Angus didn't show himself as he thought it would be the best for them.

"You didn't say that Mr. Griffith was your foster grandfather..."

Mia arrives behind Angus.

"It's not a big deal, let's get to the main topic about what you found about this spore thing." Angus says to Mia. Mia nods. "Follow me." Mia says and leads Angus to her workroom.

Mia opens the black book on her desk as quickly as possible.

"You see, this spore thing that appeared on Mr. Griffith's body is called demonic spores. I know it's a very generic name but that's what the demon book says." Mia says and then points at a creature in the book. "You see this thing, well, this thing is the reason why these demonic spores exist." The creature looks almost like a bee. "These creatures are called the stingers." Mia says looking at Angus. "Alright then...I have to kill the stingers huh?" Angus asks Mia. "It's not possible." Mia says. "What?" Angus looks confused. "It has to have a contractor to arrive and normal people can't see..." Mia says. "The only people who can see it are people like you who are half demon and half angel...Technically, your quite unique but you get the point or the contractor themselves." Mia says.

"Jeez, finding a contractor is going to be hard, the only people that I know would do that would be...The four people of that house... Dahiru Yonohara, the person who married to the old man's kid Sally and is now staying at his house, Sally herself, Chris, grandpa's elder kid or Chris's wife Jenny...Man...I really didn't want to go back at that house but now that you say that...I feel like I can't keep Jack and Makumi alone." Angus says.

"Those two, your siblings...They were scared, I could feel it..." Mia says. "I could see it in their eyes, it was the same way I was scared when that demon was about to..." Mia stops and clenches onto the black book. "I know, I saw that too, don't worry, I got this. I have a feeling, this isn't going to be as easy as it looks." Angus says as he looks out of the window. "Well, nights over, anyways, I will need to get going to my college." Angus runs towards the door and looks back at Mia. "See ya sexy!" Angus says and runs out of the door.

Mia pouts and makes two huge round cheeks like she got angry from that. "Stop calling me sexy would you? It doesn't suit me..." Then she sighs. "I need...Some sleep." Mia says and sleeps on her desk. After all, she hasn't slept all night.
