Peak Immortal Kings require 6 lightnings to breakthrough into Immortal Emperors and Peak Immortal Emperors require 9 lightnings to breakthrough into Immortal Sovereigns!

To breakthrough into Half-Deity from Immortal Sovereign does not require lightning tribulation, but understanding of deific essence and initial formation of deific force. The higher percentage of deific force formed, the stronger the human cultivator is.

But for beasts, all they have to do is, eat deific essence-containing items, and creatures including human deities or half deities. If accumulated enough until it forms a bestial image(equivalent to human initial deific force), that's the time a beast sovereign will become a demibeast.

They will also acquire half-human form, same as human half-deities acquiring half-beast form from their bloodlines (refer to Aslan's and Belphegor's half-beast form).

It was also the main reason of the 'War of the Ancients', as the dwindling population of ancient humans caused them to go all out from the constant oppression from the archaic beasts. Through the action, like someone being robbed of their soul, his body began to deflate like a balloon as he felt his strength leaving his body. He saw his interface and saw a 35 minutes debuff, with his human immortal mid stage strength to Mortal Saint (Peak).

'What power level is this? I haven't read this in the books.. I better ask Icy about this after this.'

The sudden intrusion of the squad of 4 woke the slumbering beast as it roared loudly, a piercing sound blasting throughout the forest. Alex was affected directly since he is near from the impact, as he felt his insides churn and mind spin.

His eardrum bled as he began to cover his ears and bit his tongue to avoid passing out from the impact of the roar.

'Fuck! It hurts!' he thought as he endured the pain coming from his head. 'This debuff really scares me, the weakness.. just a roar and I already felt like dying.' He gathered himself as he looked at the two opposing sides.

The subjects of the soundwave attack, however, other than flapping clothes, no other change was done as they still stood in mid-air calmly like watching a show.

"Senior brother Jun, is that the fruit that the master told us to pick?" ignoring the beast, a young girl looked at the older man in front with questioning gaze as she asked.

"Yes, junior sister Xixi, that is the Enlightenment Pear that our master instructed us to get. The master told me he will use it to breakthrough to Sovereign realm, so that he can become a Great Elder on our sect. This way, our statuses and also the resources given to us will be increased."

They began to talk to each other as they gradually approached the beast and the tree with the fruit of their mission. The beast also felt their aura, but due to it's unyielding instinct and desire for survivability and power, it began to charge the 2 bloodline skills in its arsenal.

Sensing the dreadful aura from the skill of the beast, the squad began to take the things seriously as they also began activating their skill almost at the same time the beast began to charge it's skill.

Looking at them, Alex then thought 'This is it!' as he slowly slid down the tree silently and stealthily traversed around the scene.
