538 ANNOUNCEMENT

Hey there, you expected a chapter after seeing the notification, but it was me, the Announcement. Possibly the most dreaded named chapter in any fanfic on this site: Announcement. Many of you probably got war flashbacks after hearing that word.

Don't worry, this announcement isn't about me dropping the story or putting it on a bigger hiatus. It's about me taking a major decision. I'll be rewriting this story. Many of you are already commenting 'Just continue the story as it is' by this point but stay with me for a second. The story in the recent arcs had been some of my greatest written ones in my short writing career. I've been damn proud of some of the moments.

But the story's base... it was awful. Even the most passionate reader would know how cringe-inducing the first 150-200 chapters were. I could hardly get myself to reread the first few arcs without cringing. It's horrible. There is no other way to put it. It's forced, lackluster, and riddled with plot holes.

Don't get me started on the weak writing.

I'm reminded of it every time I sit down to write a new chapter for this story. It takes away my motivation to write and leaves me with frustration and stress. I haven't published any new chapter because of this, not because I had a burn out or a lack of creativity. It's... stressful.

A change was needed. After being a pussy for months, I've built up my courage to take a step towards the change... and rewrite the whole damn story.

What started as the most cliched fic saw its fair share of evolution as I matured and my perception of the world changed. The story's tone also dramatically shifted, going in the opposite direction of mindless fun it started with.

600 chapters, 3 years of my life. I'll be undoing most of the effort.

Here's a list of things of changes:

1. Everything will be from the Third person POV from the Chapter 1.

2. Asahi's character will be more fleshed out, alongside his relationship with every girl, starting from Klyscha and Aimi.

3. Some minor tweaks to Asahi's System and power progression.

4. No more Avatar. People really hated that, so I'm entirely going to remove it. Writing it became boring to me anyways.

5. First world (High school of the Dead) will see more changes; aka Yoko and everyone's arc will be finished before the world changes. I swear I haven't forgotten her!

6. More action and ACTION.

7. More of Asahi's lovers turning yandere because why not :)

I'll post another announcement chapter when I start publishing those chapters.

PS It took me four minutes to finally muster the courage to 'PUBLISH' this chapter. Once again, I'm sorry that I'm making such a big change to the story you guys were so invested in. I hope you guys don't bash me too hard (Even if you did I'd totally understand)...
