Hauling thought that Ji-a wasn't into singing and dancing, so when Ji-a started her rap, she was dumbstruck. Although Ji-a's rap wasn't as good as a professional rapper, it was a lot better that Hualing's which was messy. At that time, Zhou Liang had only one thought in his mind, "I should have signed a contract with her."

When Ji-a finished her verse, Hualing was still in a daze.

"Are you giving up now?" asked Ji-a.

Wei Cheng, whose face had turned green by now came up the stage and side-hugged Hualing with one hand and turned to Ji-a. "She said it in a friendly way. Did you have to go that far?"

Ji-a snickered and asked, "She started dissing me first. You don't expect me to save her some face, do you?"

Hualing had only one card to play now : the victim card. She said with tears in her eyes, "Ji-a, I think you took it in the personal way. I just wanted a friendly battle."

"You are an actress and I'm just an ordinary citizen. You wanting a rap battle with me is a friendly battle." and turning to Wei Cheng, Ji-a said, "Wei Cheng, take your girlfriend away before she humiliates herself more." Wei Cheng took Hualing off the stage without saying a word. He was very angry with Hualing for dropping her brain somewhere.

The people present now detested Hualing. She didn't care about her public image because of some personal reasons. It was a good thing Ji-a asked them not to film or Hualing's career would have been over right there and then

Leonore Hughes, who was not far from the stage asked his son, "Son, who is that girl? "

"Dad buys designs from her. Why?"

"Son, I like her. If you were competent, I would have proposed to her for you right here. Too bad you are nowhere near her." and Leonore sighed. Leonore Hughes was a very broad-minded woman.

Jin didn't say anything to his mom.

Meanwhile, "Mr. Guang, Miss Zhang , let's go to my place for dinner. I would like to thank you properly . Please invite your friends too."

"Alright, Mr. Ye."

The banquet ended at about 9 pm. Guang Li Yi, Zhang Ji-a, Jun Yi Feng and Yang Lian went to the Ye Manor. The others refused to come since they didn't want to interfere with thier business. Ji-a called her mom to say that she was going to be late. When they arrived at the Ye Manor, Ye Peter, Leonore Hughes and Ye Jin took them to the dining hall. On both sides of Ye Peter sat Leonore Hughes and Guang Li Yi. Yang Lian sat next to Guang Li Yi. Ji-a sat next to Lian and Yi Feng sat next to Ji-a. Ye Jin sat next to Leonore, just opposite to Lian. During dinner, Ye Jin would steal glances at Ji-a but Yi Feng knew about it and stared coldly at Jin.

"Does he have a thing for her? Why is he so overprotective?" thought Jin to himself.

During dinner, Ji-a's stomach started to ache, maybe because she had an empty stomach for so long. Ji-a usually had a frown on her face and that's one of the reasons people didn't approach her. She appeared distant and seemed arrogant and she didn't like mixing up with people. But her frown did not hide her beautiful face. She also looked extremely beautiful even with that frown. Although she had a natural frown, it got deeper because of the pain. Jun Yi Feng noticed it and asked softly, "Jiii, what's wrong? You don't look too well." Ye Jun also noticed Ji-a's change in expression and was actually worried. He had never felt this for the last 7 years. He wanted to ask her but afraid of making her uncomfortable, he held himself back. Ji-a looked up to Jun Yi Feng and said quietly," I want to go home."

"Should we leave?" asked Yi Feng.

"No, let's wait for them to finish their dinner." answered Ji-a. She lost all her appetite because of the pain but since the dinner involved business, she didn't say anything. She just sat there acting like everything is alright.

"Miss Zhang, is the food not up to your taste?" asked Leonore politely.

"It's very delicious, Mrs. Ye. It's just that I ate too much at the banquet."

Guang Li Yi and Yang Lian knew something was wrong because Ji-a usually had a good appetite unless she was feeling well.

"It's getting late, Mr. Ye. We should get going. You're probably tired from arranging the banquet." said Guang Li Yi.

"Then, we'll set the date for the next meeting and inform you." said Ye Peter.

"Thanks for having us for dinner." said Guang Li Yi.

"Thank you for the meal, Mr. Ye, Mrs. Ye, Young Master Ye." said Ji-a.

They all shook their hands and left.

Ji-a went with Jun Yi Feng since she didn't bring her car. Yang Lian went with her driver and Guang Li Yi went on his way. On the way, Guang Li Yi and Lian sent messages to Ji-a asking her if she was alright. Ji-a replied that it's just a stomachache. Jun Yi Feng brought medicines for Ji-a and dropped her at her house. He wanted to help her inside the house but Ji-a refused saying he should head home as it was already late.

Meanwhile, at the Ye Manor after the group had left, Ye Jin said to his father, "Dad, I have a request."

"Let's talk tomorrow. I'm tired." said Ye Peter.

"It's urgent, dad." said Jin.

"Then, come to the bedroom."
