12 Back to the Present

Just when Lian patted Ji-a's back, the lights came.

Xu Li-Na was so angry that she lashed out on Shen Jui "Didn't you say this is a high class restaurant?"

"Hey.. It's not his fault." said Jun Yi Feng. "Jiii, do you want to go home?"

"No, it's alright. Let's start eating."

After lunch it was around 3pm. Lian, Yi Feng and LI Yi went together bact to LS Corporation while Shen Jui and Li-Na went to their agengy. Ji-a also headed home . When she passed by a variety store, she has a craving for chocolates so she decided to buy some.

"I should make a list of things to buy,, Chocolates, dry fruits for grandma, vitamins for mom dad and grandma.. What's there to add? Ohh! I need to restock my coffee and cookies. So, coffee, ground coffee beans, cookies. This will be enough. I'll buy the skin care products from the cosmetic store next door."

For an almost 25 years old lady, Ji-a liked eating chocolates and such.

Inside the variety store, after she chose all her things and was checking out, she heard a voice behind her. " If this ain't the pretty lady from the afternoon. " Ji-a turned around only to see Ye Jin smiling to her. Beside him was Wang Jay who seemed uninterested as ever. Seeing that it was Ye Jin, Ji-a turned towards the counter as if she saw nothing.

This was the first time for Ye Jin to be rejected by a girl.

Ji-a paid for her things and left the store to buy her skin care next door.

"Hey! I'm talking to you. Can't you at least reply?" called out Ye Jin running after her. Wang Jay only sighed.

Ye Jin caught up with Ji-a and stood before her. Ji-a frowned seeing him in front of her. Wang Jay came up to Ye Jin and pulled him to the side. Then, turning to Ji-a, he apologised" Sorry to bother you. My friend is a little high today. I hope you don't have any hard feelings. "

" Wait. What are you blabbering about? I think it's you who's high? " Ye Jin retorted.

" Please teach some manners to this friend of your." saying this Ji-a walked into the cosmetic store.

Meanwhile," Are you having fun selling your friend like that? I never do that to you." said Ye Jin.

" I don't even court girls to begin with." said Wang Jay calmly without even looking at Ye Jin.

" Yeah right."

In the cosmetic store, Ji-a was greeted by a store attendant." Please come in."

Ji-a smiled and said " I would like to see some moisturising body lotions with sandalwood scents. I'll also have a look with chocolate scents."

Anyone close to Ji-a would know that she prefers sandalwood . Shower gels, soaps, lotions, perfumes, room fresheners, almost everything is sandalwood.

" Please wait a minute. " said the attendant.

Just then, a woman in her 20s, though she looked slightly older than Ji-a, came inside the store. She looked arrogant and shoved her way in between the customers and pushed Ji-a to the floor.

But instead of apologising she said, "You shouldn't stand in the middle." Ji-a smirked at the way the woman was acting.

"Did you just smirk at me?"

Ji-a sighed and said, "Miss, if you have trouble walking at least have someone teach you. It's not good for a 20 something person to not know how to walk properly."

"YOU...." and the girl jumped towards Ji-a.

But just as she jumped, they heard a voice, "What going on here?" It was Ye Jin. He had witnessed the whole thing from outside the glass walls.

Seeing a handsome man coming, the girls faked being hurt and said with tears in her eyes, "It's okay Mister. This lady here just made a small mistake and bumped into me. But what can we do if she doesn't want to apologise. I'll just go to the hospital to get checked up."

Everyone in the store looked at the woman with disdain in their eyes. Ye Jin's face darkened hearing the woman." I didn't ask you. " Then turning to Zhang Ji-a, he asked" You alright. Are you hurt? "

He called to Wang Jay who was there the whole time and said,"Jay, can you examine her?"

"You're making a big fuse out of nothing." said Ji-a.

However, the woman who just accused Ji-a turned green because of the embarrassment and ran out of the store.

"Should I drop you home?" asked Ye Jin.

"Ji-a looked at him in disbelief and asked" Do I know you? "

Ye Jin was taken aback from her question and answered scratching his head," I don't think so. "

" Then, you don't need to drop me." said Ji-a and turned around to leave after paying for her things. But, she stopped in her tracts and turned towards Ye Jin's direction and said, "Thanks about earlier." and left in her car.
