1 Meeting God Zisren
This first chapter is going to be on the longer side to set up the background, so I apologize in advance. Also this is my first work, so I hope you like it.

Well here I am. Looks like I've died. It was way less climactic than I expected, I was hoping for a longer life and more friends so that when I died it would be a huge funeral where I could laugh at everyone crying from above.
My name is Alex, a normal 17 year old highschool boy. I was about as average as it got, average looks where I wasn't ugly but I didn't pull many girls, average grades so that I was doing well but not great, average at sports, because I played volleyball but I wasn't anything special.
I recently got my driver's license, and inherited my grandma's 13 year old car, fantastic right? Well you can probably see where this is going but anyways it was late at night because I was coming home from my friends house after watching movies and playing video games. I was driving perfectly if I do say so myself, but as I went through a green light a drunk driver going 80 mph t-boned me and I died.
That brings you up to speed, I'm dead. Or so I thought I was. It was just dark a second ago but now I'm standing in front of a huge white and gold throne. It is the epitome of luxury, if you told me that it cost 100 million dollars I wouldn't be surprised. After staring at the throne only then did I dare to look at the person sitting on it. They are the most beautiful human being I have ever seen. Wait, is it a guy or a girl? Honestly it doesn't matter they are gorgeous. Golden hair that shines like the sun, cobalt blue eyes that make me feel like I'm staring into the depths of the ocean, and an almost ethereal white robe with accents of gold to match the throne they are sitting on.
After giving me a second to gawk, the person spoke.
"Hello Alex, I am the God of Wonders, Zisren."
I almost expected it, but their voice was like an angel's, so soft, yet it still commanded the whole room to pay attention to the speaker. I half expected him to be a Goddess, but at least now he confirmed his gender for me.
"Umm.. hi?" I said. I was too shocked about this whole thing to even be able form sentences in my mind.
"I know you may be shocked about this, but you have been chosen for reincarnation!"
Zisren seemed slightly excited, which complimented his face well. His teeth are so white I think I'm going to go blind if he keeps smiling.
"Wait just a second! Did you say I'm going to be reincarnated!?"
I was too excited to contain myself. My mind was plagued with thoughts of all the isekai animes, mangas, and light novels that I've seen throughout my life. I was probably smiling like an idiot but I didn't care anymore, all I could think about is the last sentence the God said.
"Yes Alex, you heard me correctly, you have won the chance to be reincarnated."
'This is too insane' Alex thought.
"Can I call you Zisren? Or would God Zisren be better?"
He smiled, once again blinding me with his pearly whites.
"You may call me whatever you like, I've never been much of a stickler for titles anyways."
"Ok, Zisren. Can you explain everything to me before I get too many bold ideas in my head," Alex said.
"Of course. As I said earlier, you have been selected for reincarnation! I think the best way to explain how you were selected would be to relate it to something called a lottery from Earth. While you are here in my God Domain you will be selecting your basic appearance and abilities you will have before I send you off to your new world," said Zisren.
'Holy shit, no way this is just like an isekai' Alex thought. He once again began to look like an idiot, smiling like a dog about to get a treat.
"Please allow me to choose my abilities first," Alex said with a huge smile.
"Since you are so eager I shall grant your request," said Zisren.
As soon as Zisren finished a sentence, a half transparent screen popped up in front of Alex's face. He was startled so badly that he jumped a little. It took a second but he began to freak out once again.
"Ha ha ha ha!" Alex was laughing like a maniac straight out of a psych ward, but the God only smiled once again.
"I see you quite like the screen I have made. I found that people from Earth find it easier with a screen like this one."
Alex completely zoned out, ignoring the God who was speaking to him and began focusing on the long list of abilities and their explanations.
"I must remind you Alex, you may only choose 10 abilities, and they will be with you for the rest of your life, so make your choices wisely."
Alex nodded without saying anything, as he was too engrossed in the list in front of him. The list was divided into categories showing,

As he was preparing to click on the first option of the categories, the God spoke once again.
"Alex, before I forget, the world you are being sent to is one that has magic and monsters, so many people who live there fight monsters to earn a living."
This stunned Alex, magic is real! This was a huge revelation, and he immediately clicked combat. He was fantasizing about becoming an adventurer and roaming the world fighting monsters and picking up hot otherworldly girls.

'Hmm... I need to see all the possible abilities before I start making my choices' Alex thought. He then went out of the combat section and clicked magic, 'Now this is where it gets fun,' Alex smiled.

'THIS IS SO SICK' Alex was screaming inside his head. 'AHH WHY CAN'T I GET ALL OF THEM DAMN IT!'
Alex calmed down and continued to read the explanations 'Hmm so it seems that the basic elements are fire, wind, earth, and water. There are also the ones that have prerequisites which is interesting.'
"Hey Zisren, if I choose something like holy magic would I need to be praying to you or something."
"No Alex, it would be used the same way the rest of the magics are, by chanting. That is, unless you choose chant-less magic as one of your abilities."
Alex thought about it for a second, 'chant-less magic is necessary, it sounds quite special.'
Alex now clicked out of the magic section and tapped body.

Magic Pool: Increases the inherent magic power in your body.
Memory Multiplication: User's brain can now remember almost all conversations and has a photographic memory.
Blessings of the God of Combat: Allows user to learn how to use new weapons and combat styles easier.
Blessings of the God of Magic: Allows user to use different magic types easier.
Blessing of the God of Farming: Grants user increased productivity while farming, and crops that are tended to by the user will flourish.
Blessing of the God of Knowledge: Increases the speed that the user can learn new materials, and the user is able to remember all learned knowledge easier.

"Zisren what are these blessings?"
"Those are essentially tattoos that will be formed somewhere on your body, and grant you learning abilities above those of the common person. In the world you are going to, around 1 in 7,500 people will receive a blessing, and they have no choice in what blessing they receive, however you get to choose your blessing. For example, if you were to choose Blessings of the God of Magic, you would be able to learn all types of magics easier, but that does not remove the possibilities that you will not be able to use a certain type of magic."
"So what I understood is that some people aren't able to learn some types of magic?" Alex said.
"Yes that is correct, that is the reason for the magic section that you have granted. It removes the gamble when you are reincarnated, so you are able to choose what you will have an aptitude for. If you choose fire magic, it will automatically grant you an aptitude and knowledge, but you may also be able to learn water magic if you have the natural potential."
"Oh that's amazing!" exclaimed Alex. "So the blessing for magic will increase the possibilities of having more aptitudes so you will be able to learn more magics easier?"
"Indeed, you are correct, however if you choose a magic and the blessing, that will not remove the possibilities that you may not have any aptitude for another type of magic" said Zisren.
'That makes sense I guess' thought Alex. 'Well, on to the next section!'

Blessed Merchant: Able to get better deals, as well as sell products at higher prices.
Etiquette: Teaches all types of etiquette so user will not stand out in formal events.
Horseback Riding: Teaches both casual and combat horseback riding as well as carriage operation.
Language Comprehension: Learns all languages of the world.
Political Genius: Makes user well versed in all things politics, almost as if you are a God chosen politician.

'The daily section actually has some useful stuff' thought Alex. 'Wait what is this cleaning master, what do they think I am going to be! A housewife!'
If only Alex in the future can hear what he said just now.
'If I'm being honest, I have no intention to become a merchant or a politician, I want to live the adventurer lifestyle' Alex thought. 'But language comprehension is an absolute must.'
Alex glanced at Zisren to make sure he wasn't taking too much time, but Zisren was just sitting on the throne with his chin in his hand while waiting, so it seemed to not be too much of an inconvenience.
'Ok last but not least is crafting, I wonder if it's going to be anything cool.'

Armorer: User learns how to create armors. Learns common armor creation knowledge.
Tailor: User learns how to sew and create clothes. Gains knowledge of how to create most common garments.
Carpenter: User learns carpentry, along with most common blueprints.
Alchemist: User learns alchemy. Learns knowledge of most alchemy recipes.
Culinarian: User becomes a master in the kitchen. Learns knowledge of almost all common recipes, and food that user makes becomes more delicious than other food.
Jeweler: User learns how to create jewelry. Learns common jewelry creation knowledge.

'Ah I guess these are kinda intriguing, but I want to live as an adventurer, so I won't be needing these, although blacksmithing would be cool to create my own weapons, but I don't want to use one of my precious ability points on that'
"Ok I'm ready to make my choices!" Alex smiled at Zisren who looks down at Alex with interest.
"When you are ready just tap the choices you want to make and then tap done, just like how you would on your smartphone from earth" said the God.
'I've always wanted to be the cool male protagonist, and finally this is my chance! I have to make my choices perfect' Alex internally exclaimed.
Alex went back to the combat section and read over it one more time, and ended up choosing sword arts and dagger arts.
'Using a sword is essential in an isekai, and daggers will be useful too so this is what I'm going to choose for my combat types' thought Alex.
Alex moved on to the magic section, and repeated what he did for the combat section, re-reading all the explanations for the different types of magics.
'This is so tough because I want all of them!' Alex yelled in his mind. Then he thought for a second.
"Hey Zisren what is the normal amount of Magic types that people can perform?"
"Hmm..." Zisren pondered for a second, "For most people it's usually one, and it isn't uncommon for someone to be able to control two, however three is extremely rare and those people are often treated as a grand magician or sage. However you must remember that some people cannot wield magic at all."
Alex was thinking, 'Interesting, so I can become a famous person by just choosing all magics, but I don't think I will, I don't want to stand out that much.'
After contemplating his choices for 5 minutes, Alex finally moved his fingers towards his choices. He first tapped chant-less magic, then his fingers moved to shadow and holy magic.
'These two magics will work well because holy magic will be able to heal me if I get hurt, and shadow magic just sounds cool if I'm gonna be honest, who wouldn't want to sneak around like an assassin,' thought Alex after he made his choices. 'Who knows, I might even be able to learn more magics if I have a natural aptitude for them.'
"Now time for body..." Alex muttered as he selected the next section.
Alex selected body strengthening, magic pool, and memory multiplication from the body section, taking his total choices to 8 out of 10.
'Of course having a strong body is a must, and a larger mana reserve is good so I can be able to cast more magic. Memory multiplication sounds like it will be useful in the future for remembering maps and stuff like that' thought Alex.
After that, Alex went on to choose horseback riding and language comprehension. After he checked it over to make sure he made no mistakes, Alex tapped done in the top right corner of the semi-transparent screen.
He felt a rush of information, Alex screamed and fell to the ground clutching his head as his brain felt like it was being stretched, crushed, and torn all at the same time. After what felt like hours, the pain finally subsided, and Alex was astounded. He instantly knew perfect swordsmanship, and how to cast magic along with the other abilities he chose.
"This is amazing!" Alex exclaimed.
"How do you feel? Do you like it?" Zisren questioned.
"This is the absolute best! It's amazing I feel like I can fight anyone! My brain feels so light now!"
"That is probably the effect of the memory multiplication that you chose. Your cognitive functions will be faster and your will remember pretty much everything, quite the useful ability if you ask me" the God stated. "Now Alex, you get to choose you appearance, although it won't be able to make your face change all too much, you will be able to choose your hair and eye color."
Alex pondered for a second, "Zisren, do they have different color hair and eyes than what was found on earth?"
"Indeed they do, while you will still find the common colors from earth such as blond and brown hair for example, you will now be able to find hair colors like bright red, blues, greens, and the such. Eye colors are also more plentiful as well, with yellow, red, and purple being out there."
"Amazing..." Alex quietly exclaimed.
'I've always thought silver hair from animes looked cool so maybe that might look unique. I think purple for eye color would be nice because they could look like gems. Honestly, I just want something uncommon and out of the ordinary' Alex was thinking.
"Ok Zisren, I choose silver hair color and purple eyes!" Alex was excited because he thought he would look cool, kind of like the main character from everything he's seen.
"Very well, I have made the change" stated Zisren.
Alex was so excited that he was trying to pull his hair down in front of his eyes but to no avail it was cut too short and he couldn't see it just yet.
"Don't get too ahead of yourself, they won't change colors until your transfer to the new world" said Zisren after watching Alex messing with his still brown hair.
"Is that it? Now am I ready to go?" Alex was getting giddy. He felt like a kid on Christmas he was so excited.
"That is all, may you enjoy your new life in the world of Visris" stated Zisren while smiling.
White light engulfed Alex, it was so bright he had to clamp his eyes closed. He started feeling a warm sensation all around his body, which made him relax.
Zisren spoke up one last time, "Oh one last thing Alex, I forgot to mention that I have already used all my male reincarnations for the next 100 years, so unfortunately you have to be reincarnated as a female. Well, good luck!"
