Seeing Through the Eye!

Midas once again found himself waking up in the darkness that he usually found himself every night.

Most times he would be frozen by terror, but this time, Midas held himself back, switching off all fear and uncertainty in his heart.

There was no need to feel unsure.

He knew how it all worked now.

`Really? Do you actually?` came a voice from everywhere around him and again the eyes came back, blinking into existence.

Midas watched all this happen and said nothing, merely focusing on himself.

And then after a moment, he felt it… his Roots!

Midas had never noticed it before because he was always under the massive fear that was being willed into him, but this body he was in in his dreams was his real body!

He had only noticed it the last time he was there, as he was tortured for hours, that this was not the body from that world, but his real body that had been changed and modified.
