Aria's POV
I woke up 11 am this morning with the shouting of my parents, I was staying with my parents for a week because they complained that I never spend time with them. I ran downstairs wearing my robe.
"Mami, papa you guys are so fucking loud!" I shouted at them earning their attention
"Language Mija!" Mami shouted, papa nudged her shoulder lightly and I looked at them confused.
"We have to tell you something Mija" papa says, Mami gave him a glare. I shrugged in response and sat on the nearest couch
"Actually I have a question" Mami says, I nodded and grabbed the glass of juice that is infront of me.
"You're already 22 years old and you're still single!!" Mum burst out making me choke on my juice. I coughed.
"Mami what's your problem with that?" I asked rolling my eyes "I won't get grandchildren then?" She says, i then again choked but not on my juice but on my very own saliva.
"Okay we'll be going to the company now..." Papa says pulling mama lightly to the door. Papa is the president of our company and mama is the vice pres. in our company.
You see in our state there's the 5 biggest companies. First is the Cohen company. They said they have a son but the press never knew his name or face all they said was that he's a Playboy. Second would be the Grayson company, my bestfriend shantel's company. Third would be the Smith company, our company. Forth is the Jones company, one of my friend cameron's company. And number five is the Garcia company, owned by also one of my bestfriends Cass. Since I'm done explaining let's get a move on.
I went to the shower and ofcourse showered by myself cuz I don't have a 'boyfriend'. I walked to my gigantic closet and picked an outfit. Since I was lazy I only wore some denim high waist shorts and a cropped blue sweater, well I don't need to be fancy shmancy I'm not going to a meeting or something, but still if I'm going to a meeting I would probably wear my elephant onesie.
I rushed outside the house as I heard really loud honking of a car, it's probably Shantel she invited me to go shopping with her and talk about some tea. I looked at her car as she stuck her head on her window
"Get in bitch!!!" She yelled, I jogged to the passenger seat of Shantel's mustang and buckled myself up. "Bitch you ready?!" Shantel screamed
"So...where are we gonna shop" I ask as she drove away from our house, "no I'm actually just gonna talk about some drama to you" she laughed
"Now that I'm in the mood for shopping you're not taking me" I put my hands up as she laughed
"So then...spill the tea"
"Wait till we get to starbucks" she says still focused on the road...a few minutes of driving and we finally parked infront of Starbucks, we ordered our drinks and found a table in the far corner.
"So..what's the drama" I asked as I sipped on my frapuccino, "first of all why do you not have a boyfriend?!" She suddenly asks
"You know the reason shan" I said as i playfully rolled my eyes
"Oh yeah...that Austin dude, I wanted to kick his ass up to Asia when you told me he cheated on you" I practically tell all my secrets to Shantel and Cass, they both know what happened with me and my ex Austin.
"Lets move on from that and tell me the drama" she laughed as she bit her cupcake.
"Okay so the Cohen company's president Manuel along with his wife Karen...talked to my mom about" she didn't finish her sentence because she sipped on her green tea, "about what?" I said eager to know what is it about
"About their son the Playboy" she says leaving me confused
"What does your family have to do about that?" I asked confused
"You see their son, Tyler or what's his name...brings different women everynight in his house and sleep with them, then his parents wanted him to stop being a Playboy but he won't listen, so they're solution was" she then again didn't finish her sentence because she sipped on her green tea again
"He needs to fall inlove and have a kid with a girl" she finally finished her sentence and I laughed
"Woah...so they picked you to be his maiden!" I laughed out loud
"Bitch I have a boyfriend!" She yells slapping my shoulder, I stopped laughing
"Then who did they pick?" I asked curious
"They said they would pick one of the daughters in the top 5 companies here. Which I'm safe of because I have a boyfriend" we both laughed then I suddenly stopped when realization struck me like a lighting rod.
"Wait!!! Our company is at the top 5!!" Shantel stopped laughing
"And there's Cass right?" I asked literally frustrated right now
"Yeah but she has a boyfriend dork!!" She teased
"Umm the Jones?!" I asked "dude Cameron is a boy" she teased again
"Oh god sweet jesus!!!, That means their going to pick-" I said "you" Shantel finished my sentence, I took a sip from my frap, a few seconds my phone ring and it was my mum
"There's your cue" Shantel then again teased, I answered and put my phone on my ear
"Hey ma" I started
"We need you in the company right now honey!" She sounds so happy and excited. Maybe because she's gonna have some grandchildren.
"Yeah sure" I said and hung up I looked at Ariana who was smirking
"Let's go?" I asked as she giggled and stood up her chair and pulled me out the store
"Oooh~ my bestfriend is going to have a boyfriend" Shantel teased as she started the car
"Ari I hate you!" I folded my arms and gave her a glare
"You love me!" She smiled at me for a sec and then focused her eyes on the road.
