A Child’s Multiversal Restaurant

Before this begins, I just wanted to say that this story is greatly inspired by LazyTanaka's own story. So, make sure to check him out whenever you can as his story is very pleasing to read!

"This is hard to take in..."

[No need to worry, Owner. I shall assist you all the way]

"I sure hope so. I doubt I'll be able to on my own."

The voice of a young man sounded. He appeared to be around the age of thirteen and could be seen standing in an unfamiliar environment to what he had previously been in. And the previous place he was at wasn't pleasant.

Being in a hospital on his deathbed isn't exactly pleasant.

He had a lean yet pretty nicely built physique for his age, along with fair skin and straight neat black hair and a pair of red crystal eyes. His attire strangely being rather formal, which wasn't what he was wearing previously.

The clothes consisting of tight black dress pants, leather black polished shoes, and a white tight t-shirt underneath an open short-sleeved black vest. Around his neck though was a long white scarf that reached his waist.

Now, he has found himself standing in what he could only assume was a somewhat large rectangular restaurant.

He could deduce this from many things, but mainly the large number of tables and chairs set up around the area. Some larger than others. Each of the tables and chairs being rather fancy.

The floor was completely covered in a fancy red carpet and the roof in a dark wood that had many fancy patterns carved into it. The walls were made of a polished white stone that showed no cracks or different tints, just a pure beautiful white.

There were a total of six small circular tables and three larger circular tables, the large ones all having a contraption in the centre that was a glass circle that spun around easily.

It may sound ridiculous, but after having gone through his death bed. Yuzuki, the young man, had found himself reborn here by whatever or whoever the person he was talking to right now was.

He only knew them as System, but he had a feeling that wasn't really their name, though he won't pry any further.

To put matters simply, he had been chosen by this person to now run this restaurant. It may sound a bit far fetched, but this place was apparently connected to all multiverses across the entire Omniverse.

Let it be fictional and more.

He honestly found it ridiculous that this person chose him to be the owner as he was a kid, a very mature kid yes, but still a kid nonetheless. Though, he wasn't going to decline, he didn't want to die yet.

Plus, it sounded interesting.

"System, if this place is connected to all multiverses. How would I defend myself if things go sour because of... you know? Things..."

He knew that the fictional world could have very powerful people, and also some very undesirable people as well. He isn't the strongest out there, not even close. He was a normal human kid.

Yuzuki blinked for a second before holding his hand in front of him as a holographic screen opened up. He tapped a few times on it as a different screen appeared.

Beyond Strength: User is granted physical strength that is completely immeasurable. No matter how strong another being may be, you can always go beyond them.

Divine Essence: User has the ability to manipulate one's divine essence in the form of attacks such as blasts and more. Similar to the use of Ki and such.

Beyond Existence: User cannot be killed or erased through any means unless User requests it from a higher being. Example being System.

Power Nullification: User can nullify any form of energy, let it be Mana, Ki, or any else if it is launched towards the user in some form. Also capable of nullifying any form of powers even if the user is not in direct contact or sight.

Absolute Domain: Only as the User stands within this dimension existing outside of existence, User has the power to force anyone else currently in this dimension to obey them.

Infinite Stamina: No matter how long the user uses energy, User will never run out and will always remain in optimal condition.

"Oh, thank goodness..."

Yuzuki sighed in relief.

It seemed that he was truly untouchable here in this world, and also very damn powerful. At least he could defend himself easily against even the strongest of beings put there. Though, that also meant that powers were still useable.

"What about damages?"

[Owner does not need to worry. All restaurant items, even simple cutlery, are capable of resisting even attacks far more than capable of destroying a Universe. It would require an attack that could destroy all of creation to damage anything here]

"Wow... okay." Yuzuki could only chuckle slightly as he had the image of someone like Goku or someone trying to bend a fork or something and failing. It was kind of a funny thing to think about.

Though, that didn't mean the people were the same. If someone threatened and attacked another customer, then he'll deal with them himself. And he won't be damn merciful if it goes too far.

"System, can you explain everything else I will be needing to know?"

[Of course. First would be that Owner will the ability to expand and add all kinds for things for restaurant, this being done through spending a certain amount of currency. Everything costs different]

Yuzuki just nodded his head as he had already been explained his form of currency. The customers pay by dropping their money into a certain machine that will then automatically convert it into Cosmic Tokens.

A screen is present above each machine that tells the person how much of their money is worth a single Cosmic Token, it shouldn't be much for a single token.

When they pay with the tokens, he can transfer them into the system for him to use.

[If you can now move on over to the kitchen on your right]

Yuzuki looked to see a large pair of dark wood fancy doors along with a decently large open window with a wooden frame that allowed people to see into the kitchen.

He just calmly made his way over and opened up the pair of doors, he was surprised by what he was seeing when he entered. It was a large clean kitchen with all kinds of tools you could ever need.

Though, what surprised him the most was the appearance of two humanoid light blue entities standing at different stations. They didn't seem to be moving at all at the moment.

They didn't seem to have any features like reproductive parts, a face, hair or anything. Just the shape of a human that was entirely light blue in colouration.

[The ingredients here in the kitchen will automatically replenish every day. Different foreign ingredients unknown to any other person can be purchased into the automatic filling stock from the computer ahead]

Yuzuki looked to see that there indeed was a computer placed inside the wall next to him, which he looked to see that there were indeed types of ingredients he had never ever heard of before.

He also noticed the rather high cost for each of them, which was understandable as he was pretty sure he only needed to buy it once and the ingredient will be replenished like the rest.

"What about these two?"

[Those are your assistants. Currently, these two will assist Owner in cooking the food, Owner will have to be the one taking it out to the customers though]

"I see."

[However, more can be bought from the system shop. Waiters and more can be bought as well]

That would be helpful.

When he expanded the place, he doubted just himself and two of these guys would be able to do it all. He would need to buy more cooks as well as people to help him serve out the food.

He may have unlimited stamina, but he can only work so fast.

"How come they aren't moving?"

[Owner has yet to activate them]

"Oh, then please do so."

[Very well. Activating now]

Yuzuki watched silently as the two humanoids suddenly lifted their heads up and twitching slightly before looking around, to which they then noticed Yuzuki and went over to him and stood in front of him.

Now they were up close to him, he could see they were the height of the average fully grown male. So, decently taller than himself as he was nowhere near fully growing.

"Nice to meet the both of you. From here on, I'll be counting on your two to help me out."

Yuzuki had spoken with a soft smile on his face as the two saluted and nodded their heads before quickly getting to work as they were preparing the kitchen and more.

Yuzuki smiled at this as he walked out of the kitchen.

"Anything else, System?"

[Only that Owner can also decorate the restaurant with different items purchased from the System Shop]

"Alright, thank you for the help."

[It is no problem. Just call on me whenever Owner requires assistance. Also, when Owner is ready, press the button next to the entrance to open up the shop]

"What happens when I close the shop?"

[The door on the other side in the other worlds will simply display 'Closed']

"Okay then."

With a nod, Yuzuki turned his attention around at the current restaurant. Everything looked just fine for now, and the place was already decently decorated to some degree.

There were a few water tanks placed around with fish swimming inside as well as a number of plantation decorations placed around.

He wasn't sure how everything will go, but he had a good feeling about it.
