After the nice conversation with his brother, Khairro finally left saying he need to catch up with someone, Vlad came by with a child, who's also assigned to help lost children finding their parents through the crowds.
Right now, the three are heading towards the entrance of the Elysian where they can announce a lost child by the gates.
While they were walking, passing some stall and children running around and was enjoying the festival hosted by the higher ups.
"So, how's the egg Caspian?"
Caspian forgot that Vlad was the one who gave the egg to him actually, "The egg is doing pretty good, it cracks a little but there's no sign of hatching anytime soon."
Caspian pat the female's back, the child is snoring peacefully while Caspian carried the female and giving her a piggybackride that she suggested instead.
"Until now, i'm still curious like how our great great great just alot of great grandparents pass down to generations and generations and was said to give it to you, when in fact you aren't still born at that era." Vlad said, taking a bite from the sandwich he got on the way, until now he didn't ate and luckily he spotted Caspian and favor the male to carry the female but he'll also guide the two.
"I don't even know too, maybe there's another Caspian Smythe or something.I mean there's alot of Caspian in the whole world but you don't think that the last name are quiet wrong?"
He didn't ask Ariuk about the egg since the male told him that he can't answer some of his questions.But he'll try getting out some answers when the Festival is over.
"Wrong?But, to tell you something Caspian.I got to talk with my parents said that I found the Caspian Smythe, at first I also don't believe that it's you since you weren't born yet that time but after talking to my parents, I knew that it was you."
Caspian slowed down, his eyes blinking a couple of times, trying to take in what Vlad said.
"Then, what made you believe that it is indeed me?" Caspian slowly catch up to the male, who's smiling very wide.
Vlad look at the male beside him, taking every detailed about him.
"My parents were also told about the story, the story which that the future is depending on them, well actually the person that they keep looking for decades. The Caspian Smythe have the same features that were describe back then, they said you can't miss the fluffy pink hair that reminded them clouds, sparkling violet eyes that glitters under the moonlight and the warm smile."
Caspian chuckled, it seems kinda exaggerating about the looks that they describe.The description really suit him except the glittering eyes part that makes him cringe.
"I mean, there's alot of those in other countries or towns I mean." They finally reached the entrance, some adults were also there while reunited with their parents.
"The Storm family tree are also keeping tracks of people going in and out of the continent and those females who gave birth to males or female even though their names are not Caspian, they have been looking for Caspian Smythe for decades."
Caspian jaw dropped, his eyes almost bulging out of their sockets.Is that male really that important for one such strong Family to look for some random stranger or maybe a dead guy?
Caspian felt a tug behind his collar, knowing that it was the female child and let her down slowly, the parents saw her and reunited with her.
The adults thank the two nale before leaving the Academy, after all they are already done when they lost the child through the crowds of people.
Vlad notice the speechless look, chuckling lightly as he pat the male's bubblegum pink hair," The Storm generstions have been sesrching all over for the mysterious Caspian Smythe."
"That's uhmm....Kinda shocking news."
"Hey Guys!" Daewi was running towards them in a really fast speed, with Arthur casually walking behind him and gave Caspian a wave.
"Oh ghad," Vlad muttered under his breath, he can almost feel his life flying away from him seeing the most annoying person in the whole world.
Caspian heard the male and chuckled, Daewi finally stop infront of Vlad with a basket full with different varities of food?
Daewi with his smile, handed Vlad the basket with his cheeks flushing beet red.
"I came to give you this, I saw how you were starving earlier and decided to buy this for you."
Vlad licked his lips, staring the food inside the basket. He is kinda weired out by Daewi but nonetheless grateful for him to give some food.
"Thank you Daewi, that's a very nice thing to do." Suddenly, something was put on top of Vlad's head, a reindeer headband with Daewi wearing a Santa Claus hat.
This is funny! Caspian held back the laughed coming out, with Arthur laughing beside him.Vlad deadpanned at him, some of the students' saw it and laughed.
"Gonna be your hoe hoe hoe this christmas." Daewi cheekily flirted, winking at the nature male.
"Im...Flattered?"
Caspian smiled at the two cute interaction, something wiggled beside him and clasp their hand on his. Caspian arch one brow at Arthur, who was blushing from his neck up to the face.
"Again, you're too flustered."
"Shut up."
Caspian chuckled, giving Arthur's hand a grip before letting it to peacefully entangled with Arthur.
"Ehem, let's have another date this evening, I'll wait for you at the bridge." Arthur said, facing his fave at the other way to not let the Pink haired male get to see it, but the tip of his ears are noticeable.
When was the so called date happen?Ah, before the welcoming party when Valerie found out about them leaving the academy and was soon invited also with Gwen as her date. It was fun and nice, Caspian smiled.
A red tint appeared on his cheeks, "I'll wait for you, you have to be there 11:30 pm sharp.Don't be late."
"Aye aye Captain!"

Caspian spent the rest of the hours with his friends, Maxine and Stein being hungry all the time to the point they visited all the stalls and they gave Caspian free food! It was the best, the next stop is with the Ice Faction and they play some of the games and won some plushies. Next, he spent some times with four people;Gwen, Valerie, Vlad and Daewi. It was kind aawkward hoe the four have each other dates and him being alone because Arthur wasn't there but he knew that they get to spend some times at the bridge later on with the fireworks exactly at 12.
The Festival is still full of people, with them spending it because they don't know when will it happened again, Caspian also got to work with the teachers who are kind and also brave at the same time.
Then, he bump into Lorelei and her friends but instead of bullying him.They decided to drag him around and plays some games, with him the one playing and winning toys for them. They apologize after that and finally, he is getting to spend the time with Arthur and maybe answer him.
His heart beating faster as everytime his feet takes him to the bridge, kicking some rocks to let his mind ease. On his hand is a heatrt shape box filled with chocolates to give it to Arthur even though Valentines are still in a few months. Tomorrow is also Caspian and him orginally birthday, no 30 minutes before his birthday.
He was the first one to arrive at the bridge, the lake's water flowing peacefully. The sound of crickets along the way with fireflys guiding him, the moon shining so bright.
The atmosphere is kinda set to a romantic one making it a perfect confession to happen.He leaned his back at the bridge stone, his legs feels like it's about to give up from nervousness, and the way he shiver despite being one with the cold.
"Okay, you can do this Caspian!This is once in a lifetime so we need to make it worth it!"
Talking to himself is kinda weird but this is not the right time to do so.
His eyes lingering where he came from, his eyes filled with hope whike waiting for Arthur to come.

Caspian could feel his eyes blurring, the tears covering his vision. The chocolates are pretty much liquid now from how long it was not yet eaten. He wipe off the tears forming and looked at the clock again, 11:56.
There's only 4 minutes and no sign of Arthur yet, he can't help but feel empty. It's been a few minutes and Arthur promised him that he will be here exactly at 11:30 and look a the time, the fireworks are about to start.
"Look what we have here...."
Caspian whipped his head towards the sound, Eli stood at the end of the bridge looking at him with a smirked.
"What the hell do you want?" He continued to wipe off the evidence of him crying, hiding the box of chocolates from her sight
"Nothing, you seems very lonely.Oh, don't tell me your date ditch you." Eli siad mockingly, her heels clanking with every step she takes just to stop infront of Caspian.
"Date...Psh, he promise me that he will be here..." Caspian voice trailed off, the tears are threatening to fall but he clode his eyes.
"And yet he is still not here, what a pity.He don't need you anymore, seeing that he didn't appear at your little date." Eli said, her eyes playfully glared the male, her pointy nail push him, with his back at the stone, he don't have any freedom to move around.
"Shut up, you don't know anything..."
Eli suddenly laughed, backing away.
"Wanna know something Caspian?Before the clock strike at 12 and exactly your birthday."
Caspian breath in, keeping his mind peacefully and not let his anger gets the best of him.He fix his posture and cross his arms by the chest.
"What is it?"
Even though it sounds rude, it still have fear behind those cold tones of him.He didn't know why but there's something off, the clock ticking each minutes pass.
"You don't really notice anything do you?"
"Notice what?"
Eli, sighed, rubbing her forehead.She closes her eyes for a minute. before opening it.Caspian eyes widened, staring into Red pupils of Elizabeth.
"The Red you caught back there at the party wasn't real.The Real Red is Me!"
