I waited for their answer as they all argued with each other through their eyes.

"If you can clear out the auditorium, swimming area and multi sport area, then you can stay in there," Zion spoke up, shushing everyone's annoyed glances and walking over to me. He stuck his hand out.

"Oh and, we should fight one day, its pretty obvious that you're quite talented," he smirked, I was surprised for a moment before mirroring his smirk and shaking his hand.

"I'll hold you to that when the world clears up a bit," I replied, "also, I'll take up the offer on the auditorium. Please show me to the place."

Zion turned to the others.

"Well I don't know this school at all so someone else will have to be her escort," he announced.

"I'll take her," Lance stood up and disappeared into a room and then came back with a cricket bat. We then slid out of the hallway again.

The boy swung his cricket bat around at every zombie that approached us.

After we walked through numerous hallways and to the back of the school. The basketball court was drowned in blood and bodies, not many zombies.

"That's strange," I muttered. He looked at me confused.

"How so?" he asked, I gestured around the court as we walked through it.

"There's so much blood and death here but there are non of the dead," I pointed out.

"Yeah, they all moved to the front gates when it got hectic," he told me with a shrug, "they just kind of just stayed around there and then crowded around, which allow me to point out, was extremely difficult to deal with."

"Still is," I added.

"Still is," he repeated with a swift nod before we reached a large building. He knocked on the door and suddenly a roaring group of groans erupted from the other side of the steel doors.

"When it all begun, we managed to pull the worst of the crowd into here, so releasing them would be fatal. Fighting them or attempting to clear them out without military weapons like guns or bombs would be suicide," he informed me.

"If it's suicide, then why bring me to this place specifically?" I asked with a suspicious tone. He snickered.

"We don't trust you, that's pretty obvious. Plus, this place needs cleaning out. The doors won't hold against them for much longer against the amount of pressure that's going against them," he replied before dropping a key into my hand.

"You'll need this and a lot of gut. Good luck," he waved as he walked away and back to the building.

"Hey! Come back in a day and a half," I called back at him, he looked over his shoulder to me.

"If you're still alive in a day and a half, I'll treat you to a nice warm meal made by some rich kid," he shouts as he reached the doors back to the hallways and then disappeared in.

"Time to work," I mumble to myself before pressing my ear against the door and listening. On the other side was a lot of shuffling, some groans and dripping water.

The dripping water could be from a pipe, or a shower, or maybe even from the pool, I feel as though they would've just sunk if they fell in the pool which could be an issue when I try to fix everything up.

I pushed the key into the handle and turned it to the right. A loud click was heard and the lock became loose. I gribbed the sheath of my katana and then threw the door open, sprinting into the room and then slamming the door shut behind me with a loud thud.

All the noise increased and the air grew thicker.
