4 Chapter 4: Training and First Catch

I say bye to my Mom and Dad. They wished me luck on my journey and said they have a gift for me.They grabbed a disk shaped envelope and give it to me. "We thought this will useful during your journey",they said. It a Tm with the move rest. My eyes widen as I hold the disk. Rest is an incredible move for training when paired with an awakening or Chesto Berry. Rest allows the user to gain all it health and strength back but with all the energy used to heal itself, It goes to sleep due to exhaustion. Use and awakening or Chesto Berry and all the exhaustion is cured making it ready to train again in tip top shape.

They took me to a machine as I know what to do.I put the Tm and place Bagon's pokeball on it.The machine taught Bagon the move and signaled me it done. I take the pokeball and Tm(Tm are Reusable).

I Hugged my Mom and Dad and departed.I grabbed all sorts of Berries from the Patch outside the town(Especially Chesto Berries).

Tyson and Emma left awhile ago when their parents gave them a Riolu(Tyson) and a Eevee(Emma).I need to make sure not to get left behind.

Good thing dragon type pokemon are able to safely train from birth(No wonder they have such power).I knew Bagon could not battle wild pokemon yet so I directed him to a rock and told him to scratch the rock to sharpen it's claw.One thing I noticed tho was that anytime something flew overhead, Bagon would get Mesmerized and be distracted.I then realized it was about Bagon wanting to fly.

I told him that if we worked together, I promised I make you fly one day.I then showed him a picture of a Salamence a motivation.After that Bagon got motivated and scratch much more faster.I took out my Pokedex and:

Pokemon: Bagon

Lvl: 3

Abilities: Rock Head

Gender: Male

Moves: Ember, Leer, Scratch, Rest, Dragon Rush(Egg Move Locked), Dragon Dance(Egg Move Locked)

.The next step is to make Bagon harnessed the dragon type energy inside him to evolved scratch into dragon claw and to unlock Dragon Rush and Dragon Dance. I told Bagon to come to me.He look pretty tired so I Told to use the move Rest. Baton body began to glow as it look like he was fine until he slump over asleep. I sighed as I brought a mini pot I took from home and some Chesto Berries. I took two and put in the pot with water from my canteen and mushed it altogether until A berry juice was made. I slipped a little bit into it mouth. Bagon opened his eyes and was full of energy.I smiled seeing how op the combo is.

I told Bagon to feel and tried to harness it dragon type energy. Since it was pure dragon,It was easier to harnessed the power and after twenty minutes bacon body began to glow with dragon energy.He stomp hi foot twice and the energy dispersed.

Bagon just used the move Dragon Dance and was way stronger and faster. Even though it will wear off in a few minutes, we can train the move to last longer.

I'm going to have condition Bagon's body in order for it to use Dragon Rush. I then told Bagon to do some laps around the training area and when it felt it absolute limit, it was to use rest.

This cycle lasted about 3 times until I told him to come here and try to use ember and focused it firepower.I might need it for long range battles.

We stopped training and ate dinner shortly afterwards and headed to Solaceon Town as a quick stop till Hearthome City.

Before we made it to Solaceon Town, we were ambushed by a Aimpom trying to steal our food.

Bagon stepped Foward ready for his first battle

I smiled because of his confidence and was ready too

The Aipom got tired of waiting and rushed and jumped in the air trying to use fury swipes.

"Bagon use ember"

Bagon unleashed it scorching flames out it mouth and hits aipom.

"Now use dragon dance while it's recovering "

Bagon use dragon dance make his attack and speed greater.

Aipom not learning try to use fury swipes again extending his arm for a tail.

Bagon was waiting till the last moment opened his mouth and grabbing it and slams aipom knocking it out.

Bagon learning bite didn't surprise him as it was only a matter of time.

"Great job there partner"

Bagon showed pride in defeating the Aipom and huffed greatly.

I laughed before hearing a cry.

"What was that", I said before walking to the location he heard it from.

There he saw it, A weakened and dirty Swinburne. Rushing over to the little one side,picking it up and rushing to the nearby Solaceon Town.

At Solaceon Town:

The Moment he arrived there, he rushed to the Pokémon Center in the relative small town.When the nurse saw Peter rushing in with the Swinub. The Nurse immediately got to work.

Two hours later:

The nurse called in Peter as she asks where he found it. Peter told her the complete story. When the Nurse realized he was not the trainer , She gave him two options, to leave it here, or keep it as a Pokémon as Swinub thanks you for saving her.

Thinking bout his options, Mamoswine was a cool and could be strong if trained properly.He also really like the ground and ice typing.

I'll catch her, I said because swinub is a cool Pokémon.

"Excellent",The nurse said leaving the room and letting me talk to swinub.

Swinub was looking at me in curiosity

"Heya Girl",I said trying to ease Swinub

"I have proposition for you swinub it either you join me and my you strong or I"ll return to your pack

When Swinub heard bout her pack,She looked down in sadness and shook her head.

That when Peter knew what happened to Swinub

She was not separated,She was left behind cause she is weak.

When I knew what happened, I was shocked but put on a serious face saying "You can join us, you will never be weak and you will not be left behind.

Swinub hearing that became happy and when Peter brought the poke ball she let herself get captured.

Peter brought out swinub and bagon and ask them"Do you want any nicknames"
