A loud explosion echoed throughout the Howling Pass. Kreig's group was about to reach the base camp, but the sudden explosion urged them to move even faster.

"Gladius!" 

"I'm on it!"

Kreig called out to his friend, who instinctively knew what he was about to say.

"Trish, take care of the rest. Make sure that they reach the camp as fast as they could," he said. Trish nodded her head in response. 

With that, Gladis and Kreig went ahead of the group and sprinted toward the camp. 

"What do you think could have caused such an explosion?" Gladius asked his friend, who was just as clueless as he was.

"I don't know, but it can't be anything good," Kreig answered.
