2 The red haired girl
Ashur was running towards where he last saw her, at the entrance of a back alley.
Arriving at the entrance, Ashur could see that it was rather clean as some nice gods occasionally used their divine powers to do a quick clean as they were walking by.
Entering the alley, Ashur could see a few things such as a few garbage cans and some benches, some stairways leading up to some doors on the side of the buildings.
Usually, gods limit themselves as it's more interesting if they live a normal life and it gets boring fast if they don't. If they can instantly go from one place to another, where is the fun in that? someone once said, 'The joy is in the journey,' they don't care about the endpoint as gods have all the time in the world to reach there. They just like to seek enjoyment and having a normal life is one of them.
That's why creation gods usually run shops or something along those lines to show off their creations, or because of the influence of their divinities, they create something, and if its a big project, they come together to make something big with multiple concepts such as this place, 'Heaven'.
They made this place to get over their loneliness, and run shops to sometimes feel needed and also fight off their boredom.
Ashur, the god of space and time had to come together with various gods to create this place, him setting the boundaries of space and time, while others created the earth, life such as grass and plants, the sky, and many other things.
Of course, there are many new gods appearing with various divinities that can create something new like this together. but this pace was created many years ago when there were very few gods as a place to find a place to call 'Home' and sometimes some gods get the same divinities but with a little variance appear.
Walking through the alleyways of twisting and turns, Ashur could see some red hair poking over a set of stairs.
Walking towards the stairs Ashur could hear some quiet sobs, his heart wrenched thinking of what she was going through.
Slowly he made his way over to the stairs and saw her couched down into a ball. He crouched in front of her, Ashur noticed that she was in her own little world and did not even notice him.
"Little lady, are you okay?" asked Ashur.
"Hm?"
then she finally noticed him and screamed
"Go away!"
"I'm just a freak, leave me alone!"
"I can't just leave a pretty little girl to cry all alone," Ashur said.
"I'm not pretty, I'm just a monster, if you look at my eye you will just be disgusted too!" the little girl cried out.
"No, I know you're a very pretty girl," Ashur said very seriously.
"No, you don't! once you look at my eye you will be disgusted too!"
"Then there is only one way to find out"
"Look at me," Ashur said with a very serious tone
"Then you will run away just like the others and leave me alone!" she cried
"Fine, I Ashur, promise I won't ever leave you alone, okay?"Ashur promised while raising his hand up high and having the other over his chest like an oath.
"Fine!" she said as she slowly unfurled from her ball and stared up at him.
Ashur looked at her face and a bit shocked but he did not felt disgusted by her at all and only had one thing on his mind 'SO COOL' as his otaku mind raged wildly.
'It's like she got a mystic eye or something' Ashur looked at the eye and tried the best to describe it.
The best way Ashur could describe it as was like a bloodshot ghoul's eye from Tokyo ghoul with a red pupil with a black sclera with red veins coming from the pupil, there was also wrinkled skin around the eye like the skin of a certain black and red mercenary with a mouth, with the veins spreading out from her eye and onto her skin.
The little girl could see that rather than be disgusted by her eye, she could see him excited?
"Why are you not disgusted?" she said with visible confusion on her face as she wondered why he is excited instead of disgusted by her.
"Disgusted? Why should I feel disgusted by something so cool?" he said with a big smile on his face.
'Cool? what a weird guy' she thought.
"Can you tell me your name?" Ashur asked
"It's Hephaestus"
"Ashur, nice to meet you! Now that I get to see your face, It's as I thought, you are a very pretty girl!" Ashur said with a smile on his face.
After Ashur said that he could see her start crying again and he started mentally freaking out. 'What did I do!? Why is she crying again!'
"Why are you crying again? Is it something I did? If I did anything wrong ill let you hit me" Ashur said panicky as he started moving around
"No...it's not because of you, it's just that ever since I got here no one has ever called me pretty and not be disgusted by my eye besides you," Hephaestus said with tears in her eyes.
"Ah, I thought I did something wrong," said Ashur as he sighed in relief but he suddenly remembered something that made him go tense.
"Hey, do you wanna get out of here? It will be very bad if we don't" Ashur said as he knew what was coming soon
"Why do you want to leave?"Hephaestus asked confusedly as she wiped her tears
"Well, gods are are people that are attracted to anything interesting, and a bunch of them seen me run after you into the alley so they are probably looking for us now as they want to know how I'm related to you and to find gossip as a lot of gods love to gossip," Ashur said as he could feel the ground tremble slightly, he looked towards the end of the alleyway and could see a crowd of gods running towards them.
"Oh no, they're coming, RUN!"Ashur said as he leaned forward and slowly grabbed her hand.
"Hey, wait a minute," Hephaestus said as he grabbed her hand and started running.
"Left!"Ashur said as he ran towards the left alleyway while pulling Hephaestus along
God1: "They went that way!"
God2: "Split up and corner them!"
Ashur and Hephaestus were running down the alleyways when suddenly he saw a few gods running towards their position so he dragged her into another alleyway.
"Oh no, it's a dead end," Ashur said with a little bit of fear as wondering what kind of rumors will be out tomorrow.
God1: "He went into this alley, this way!"
