"Holy shit! I forgot about these guys!" Tomoya quickly poured some ambrosia on her arm, which was turning to stone. Now that she was remembering things, she realized this had happened in the story as well. What scared her was the floors below this since she had no clue what kinds of monsters to expect! But what she did notice was that she was not gaining skills like Hajime did. She did not know if this was because she gained the skills he had already had and did not gain his mutation or what, but at the very least, she was gaining the experience from eating the monsters.

As Tomoya was trying to heal her arm, the basilisk was crawling up over the top of the rock she was on. Tomoya did not even need to look up to know it was there. She just tilted her sword ever so slightly, and in an instant, the blade extended and stabbed through the rock and into the basilisk's head, killing it. "Stupid thing! Almost made me into an edge lord."

After cursing, Tomoya felt a little better before she reached up and pulled the stupid thing off the rock and onto the ground in front of her. She was actually kind of hungry, so she couldn't help but lick her lips. "Even if you are disgusting, I will still eat you!"

29th floor…..

"Hahahah! Fucking die!" Tomoya had long lost her previous sanity. This dungeon had been hell to her. She cleared each floor, ensuring no monsters were left before heading to the next floor. Even if she found the stairs leading down quickly, she did not care. Her only goal was to get as strong as possible to live through this world and the others without issue. She had almost lost both her eyes, a leg, her tail, and even both her arms. If not for the ambrosia, she would have died ten times over already.

Currently, Tomoya's sword was split apart and arched out like the roots of a tree, shooting out in all directions and stabbing into anything and everything they passed. She did not plan to stay on this floor since the monsters here hid so well. She disliked this more than anything since she always felt a threat of danger around her, which had led her to use her weapons in such a way. While her sword flailed about crazily, she quickly found the stairs leading down and reeled her sword back in before heading to the next floor.

Tomoya sat on the stairs and looked at her stats. "I think these are better than Hajime's stats when he left the dungeon. Sadly, I did not get any levels on that last floor. But my swordsmanship is now +, whatever that means."

She closed her stats, took out a leg of cooked meat, and began chewing on it. She could not wait to leave this place and get a proper meal. "That shark thing, I think, was on the 29th floor, which means I am twenty-one more floors away from Yue. Then there is another fifty floors after that."

The dived continued. Tomoya killed and ate, then killed some more. She did not skip floors unless she thought it to be too dangerous. With her stats, she found the monsters to be easily killed. The only thing that she noticed was that her leveling up was starting to slow down.

It was not until she stood in front of a huge set of doors that she finally decided to take a long rest. Next to her were two huge statues which, when she tried to open the door behind her, would wake up. She knew all of this. She knew what to expect.

"These stats are nuts." Tomoya scratched her ears. She had a habit of doing this ever since she found it to be soothing. She had even gotten lucky on the 44th floor and found a pond to wash up in. "Question is, will I get to keep these stats when I leave this world, or will they reset…."

This question had lingered for a while in her mind, but she had not been able to find a solution to this at all. She took out her guidebook and began scribbling inside it again. She was marking down everything she had seen and dealt with on each floor. A few hours passed before she finally finished. What amazed her was that the guidebook felt like it was getting thicker. She figured with all the writing she had done so far, she would have long used up each page, but it seemed this guidebook had some kind of magical properties that allowed it to have infinite pages.

After having another quick meal to regain her strength, Tomoya finally stood up and looked at the door. "This is….. To pass this, I would need the cores from these big guys, but can my sword pierce through this?"

Tomoya drew her sword and took a deep breath before pushing out with it slowly. Sadly, her idea was for naught. As soon as the sword touched the door, a large magic circle appeared, and lightning spread out, almost shocking her to death if she had not moved quickly enough. A rumble came at her side as the statues next to her began to wake up.

"Tch…  I guess I will need to deal with these guys after all.." Clicking her tongue, Tomoya readied her sword for the battle ahead.
