1 Prologue - Part 1

Saotome Ranma, currently sitting on a red sofa in European style room with a wooden floors. And in front of Ranma sat an old man with white hair who held a stick on his right hand and on his back he wore a black coat. Ranma was extremely confused by the situation that currently happening in front of him right now, because the last thing he remembered before he appeared on the unknown room was, he was sleeping in his room at the Saotome residence in the Juuban, Minato ward.

And after that he suddenly awoke in an unfamiliar room, sitting on the sofa while his body and mouth became so stiff to the point he cannot moving his body and mouth at all. And the thing that made him feel so curious was, he really wanted to know who is the old man that sitting on the sofa that was placed right in front of him.

"Saotome Ranma, a seventeen year old sophomore at Furinkan High, lived for almost a year at the Tendo residence which is the residence of your abusive, tsundere, and incompetent fiancé, Tendo Akane. And because your mother Nodoka could not accept Akane behaviour who was really far from girly, and too tomboyish your mother broke your engagement with her as well as all your other engagements with Ukyo Kuonji, even though you consider Kuonji Ukyo as your true loves, and then she brought you back to the house where you were born in Juuban, Minato Wards. Your father Genma Saotome is currently in prison for all the crimes he committed."

The old man gave a brief history about Ranma life in a very detail explanation, to the point making Ranma's face became pale when he heard the old man's words. He was frightened and confused as to how the old man could know things that were so personal to him.

"Ah, your face turned pale because what I just said, huh," The old man said while laughing a little. "Sorry if I made you feel scared Saotome Ranma, everything I just said to you was nothing more than the jokes and formalities of my job of taking care of the soul of someone like you whose life is full of chaos."

Right after the old man finished speaking, finally Ranma's can move his mouth once again and he could speak.

"What do you mean by my soul! And why am I here! Where am I! And finally who are you!" Ranma spoke so loudly after he could speak again while venting all the anger that was accumulated inside him. He really wanted to hit the old man in front of him, but his body couldn't move at all so he couldn't do anything to beat the old man.

"My name is Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg one of the most powerful sorcerer's in the multiverse, a Kaleidoscope user, the operation of parallel world, and the one whose job is to give second chances to humans with chaotic fates like you," Zelretch said with a neutral smile on his face. "And we are currently in my residence that reside in the border between a lot of dimensions."

"A magician assigned to give a second chance to someone like me? Does that mean I'm dead, if I'm given a second chance," Ranma said who looked sad when he guessed that he was dead. "And if I really am a soul? Why can I still feel physical touch from the sofa where I'm sitting Right now?"

"Nah, you are still very much alive and healthy, even your body is still sleeping in your room in Juuban. It's just that I brought your soul here because I got an assignment from 'He' who decided that you deserved a chance to live a better life in another world, and your spirit can feel physical touch in this place because this place is a special place," Zelretch said. "Although there's a chance that your life will be messed up again if you're not careful."

"I got a second chance to live in another world which is better because of this 'someone' you mention before, and then you said that my life would be messed up again, if I wasn't careful," Ranma said who didn't really understand Zelretch's words. "What do you mean by that?"

"Of the many people who exist in your world and in the multiverse, you are one of the humans with the most chaotic destiny that I ever see. Even though you have been able to overcome all the bad luck and chaos that has befallen to you thanks to your martial arts skills and great physical strength, there is no way you can rely on these two abilities forever. And I If I'm not wrong there are some moments in your life where all your physical strength and martial arts skills become completely useless, right? That's why I said earlier that your new life could turn into chaos again if you're not careful. Because with so much chaos energy that exist inside your soul anything is possible."

Zelretch's words, made Ranma have a doubt about his offer. What is the use for him living a new life. If his second life is just as messed up as his old one. He felt better if he continuing his current life.

"Sorry, oldman but I'm not interested at all in living a new life in another world," Ranma said with a tone that sound like a lazy person. "My current life is ia already pleasant enough for me, being able to live a peaceful life with my mother is more than enough for me."

"Hmmm your words are not wrong and I can accept your decision, but unfortunately your happy life with your mother will end in a few weeks," Zelretch said with a sad look on his face. "Because your mother has suffer a cancer that the current medical technology can't cure."

"Wh-what did you say old geezer!" Ranma shouted. "My mother has incurable cancer! H-how is that possible! My mother looks healthy and fine, there's no way she has cancer!"

"Your mother Nodoka may look healthy from the outside, but she is actually enduring excruciating pain," Zelretch said while showing the condition of Nodoka Saotome who was looking in pain while vomiting blood using some illusion magic. "It's just that she doesn't want to make you worry that's why she tries to make her look healthy and strong in front of you."

When Ranma saw the illusion showing his mother in pain, tears rolled down from his cheeks. He didn't know at all, that his mother Nodoka had been in excruciating pain due to the illness she was experiencing. And in order to make Ranma not worry about her, Nodoka deliberately acted as if nothing had happened to her.

"Hey old geezer, you said that you were a great magician didn't you? That means you have the ability to heal my mother, doesn't it!" Ranma shouted with tears still running down his cheeks. Tears are something that very rarely occurs in Ranma, even if it appears it is because of pain, not sadness, but when he hears that his mother is sick. Finally, tears of sadness finally dripped from Ranma's eyes. The affection he felt for his mother caused the tears to fall.

"Yes, I do have the ability to heal your mother," Zelretch said. "But since the time of your mother's death was fixed, even if I healed your mother in the end she would still die a few weeks later, it is something that has been ordained by the 'He' who is sovereign over all."

"From the start you said 'He' 'He'!" Ranma shouted in an angry tone. "Actually, who is 'He'! And why is 'He' even able to set the day of my mother's death!"

"If you don't know the identity of 'Him' even after I gave you a lot of clues it shows that you are not 'worthy' to know the identity of 'Him'," Zelretch said with a sigh. "Seems all your years of being educated on the streets by your greedy father made you such a fool that you couldn't figure out who 'He' was."

"Noisy! I know that my father's upbringing of morals, decency and many other things is bad! But at least I don't end up being a petty criminal like him!" Ranma shouted. "Now tell me if you have a way to save my mother!"

"I have a way of saving your mother from death," Zelretch said. "And that method requires you to sacrifice your life and your existence as Saotome Ranma, your life will be used to increase the life of your mother while your existence will be used so that your mother Nodoka can get a new child from your father to accompany her, and after that you must live a new life in another world, are you able to fulfill these conditions so that your mother can live Saotome Ranma?"

"If my life and existence can make my mother heal and live longer, I don't mind sacrificing my life at all even though I have to live in a new world and never see my mother again," Ranma said with a smile because he was glad his mother could be saved and didn't die. "It was a very low price for the happiness and the life of my mother."

"So you've decided to sacrifice your life for your mother's safety, apparently," Zelretch said. "Then you may assume that your wish has been granted and since you no longer exist in your old world, you should instead live a new life in another world."

"If I refuse your offer and decide to live with my mother until she dies, then I will definitely accept your offer to go to another world so I can relieve my sadness," Ranma said. "And the choice I have just chosen is the most appropriate, because in addition to my mother recovering from her illness she will also live longer because I have sacrificed my life and existence for her. Although in return, I will feel very sad that I will not be able to see my mother again."

"Apparently you're not as stupid as I thought, everything you said was true. Because whatever choice you choose the result will still be the same which is you have to go to another world, what 'He' has set cannot be changed unless someone is willing to pay the price according to the decision 'He' has made," Zelretch said while praising Ranma. "Now regarding the other world that will be your new residence, have you ever watched anime or read manga, Saotome Ranma?"

"Although not very often, from time to time I sometimes watch anime or read manga," Ranma said. "So what?"

"The new world you will live in next can be said to be a world created from a combination of many anime and manga," Zelretch replied. "A jumbled world that I think suits for someone who likes to fight like you. Because in the new world there are so many strong people you can fight."

"No wonder you say if I'm not careful my life will be messed up again," Ranma said with a deep sighed aftwr he heard Zelretch words. "Apparently the new world I'm going to live in is a world full of chaos sigh, even though I think I finally find can have a peaceful life."

"You can find peace, if you don't seek trouble or attract attention," Zelretch said. "In the new world, you will get a new identity that even I can't figure out myself, so I hope you live your new life much better than your previous life."

Right after Zelretch finished speaking, Ranma's soul os disappeared from Zelreth's villa and moved to a new world that he had never even been to because he couldn't leave his villa.

"I hope God bless you so you can live a a peaceful life oh young 'Wild horse'."

*One of the meaning of Ranma is wild horse.

In another world, or an alternate world where Ranma was reborn. Precisely in a hospital of a certain small town in Japan, a husband and wife are happy to welcome the birth of their first son.

And the couple's first son was Ranma, when Ranma opened his eyes right after he was sent to another world by Zelretch. He realized that he had been reborn in a new world which Ranma wanted to know in what kind of world he was reborn and who he became when he reborn. Ranma hopes he is reborn as a side character, he doesn't want to be reborn as a main character who has a big destiny.

But as soon as Ranma heard his new parents' words, Ranma immediately realized that his life would always be full of chaos no matter what.

"Hey honey, do you have a suitable name for our newborn son?" Ask the wife who is Ranma's new mother to her husband.

"Touma, Kamijou Touma," said the husband. "That is the name of our son."

Ranma is very familiar, the name of his current self. Because that name is the name of his favorite anime character who has almost the same fate as him. And because of that Ranma knew that his fate in the future would be very chaotic and full of crazy things....
