4 The Adventure Academy, Cytus

Lead colored clouds brood in the sky. Under that sky is a boy named Chrono, with black hair, and bangs coming out. The clothes he is wearing is a long sleeved black attire, almost seem like a uniform of some sort, and pants to match it.

Chrono let out a little sigh while holding a bag of coins.

"What should I do now?"

Chrono looks like a kitten that was abandoned by his mother.

Chrono looks to the right and sees something like a stone wall covering a bunch of buildings in the distance.

"Guess I should just go there."

After walking for quite sometime Chrono finally reached his destination. Infront of him is a large door. Chrono knocked at the door, and it suddenly opens.

Chrono backs away with his hands Infront of his face, thinking he did something wrong.

"E-eh? W-what?"

As the door opens, horses that are carrying carriages, walks across. Chrono, who has never seen a horse before, hides behind a tree near him, and watches as the carriages move.

"What kind of creature is that? Is it one of the races Ezza mentioned?" Chrono mumbles to himself

After the carriages goes away, the door slowly closes, but before it closed, Chrono sneaks inside.

The door slams behind Chrono, but he was too distracted by the view in front of him to notice. The view he's seeing is a view he has never seen before. Stalls selling various ingredients of food, and children running around the place. Before he can react, a food merchant reaches out to him.

"Hey you there! The kid with the uniform! Are you new here?"

Chrono points his index finger at himself to clarify, and the merchant nods in response. Chrono walks towards him.

"I saw you enter the town, but after taking a closer look," The merchant holds his jaw with his leather gloved hand, and thoroughly inspect my clothes "You ARE a student at Cytus academy, but what are you doing at the outskirt of town? I thought students aren't allowed to go outside of town." the merchant asked him a question he knows not the answer.

"Uhm, I was, uhh..."

While thinking of an excuse, Chrono remembered the time where he heard a student walking in the street besides him saying about a transfer student.

"I'm a transfer student! I just arrived here today so I don't know the way to the academy, do you mind telling me how to get there?" Chrono smiled to get rid of the suspicion

"Oh, rare to see a transfer student at this time of year. Welcome to the town of Cisus, if you want to go to the academy just follow the road your standing on, and go left infront of the magic shop, from there you can see the academy."

Chrono thanked the merchant, and goes to the academy, not like he has any choice though.

After taking a left at the magic shop, Chrono saw the academy, even in the distance the academy looks big.

After arriving at the academy, one of the guards walks towards Chrono.

"You there, what are you doing outside of the academy, class is about to start, get inside now!"

"Y-yes sir, but actually I'm a transfer student" Chrono is worried if this excuse is gonna fool him like the merchant.

"A transfer student? I wasn't informed of this, wait here I need to contact the headmaster."

The guard goes to the headmaster, leaving Chrono by himself.

Chrono crouches, and hugs his knee

"I'm done for..."

After some time, the guard came back and told Chrono to go to the headmaster's office.

"The headmaster wants to see you, follow me!"

After hearing the guard's words, Chrono became even more anxious.

"Of course"

Chrono responded nonchalantly.

The sound of a door creaks open. On the other side of the door is the one in charge of this academy, and the one that will decide Chrono's fate in this world.

Chrono walks inside the room, right after entering the room, even Chrono who knows little about this world, can feel the intimidating aura that surrounds the headmaster.

As the door closes, Chrono sees a man with white hair almost reaching his shoulder, white attire and pants, and looks very young.

"Thank you for coming," the man stood up, and approaches Chrono, and smiles

"Son of Ezza"

After hearing those three words, Chrono's eyes widen as if he's seeing a ghost.

"You know her?" Chrono ask the man shrouded in mystery.

"Yes, we've known each other for a very long time, she told me about a boy that will change this world, after seeing you, those statements came to mind."

"A long time?"

"Yes, despite my looks I'm 139 years old"

Chrono opened his mouth in shock

"But enough about me, you came here to study in this academy right?"

"Eh? Ah, yes, right now I know little about this world and how it works, so I want to study here to get a better understanding of this place."

"I don't mind, but transferring at this time of year means you'll be far behind in your studies than the others, so you'll have to catch up."

Chrono who doesn't know the pain and suffering of school, gladly accepts the condition

"Great, now then, welcome to The Magical Academy, Cytus. I'll have one of the students give you a tour around the academy"

Sound of someone knocking was heard throughout the room.

"Oh, speak of the devil, I hope you liked it here, and I have great expectations from you, 'Son of Ezza'" The headmaster walks towards the door and touches the handle, but before he could opens it

"My name is Chrono, it's the name Ezza gave me, hearing you call me 'Son of Ezza' is nerve-racking" Chrono laughs nervously

The headmaster smiles

"Then, my name is Sinha, nice to meet you Chrono"

Chrono nods excitedly, and Sinha opens the door. As the door opens, Chrono sees a woman with long blue hair, and blue eyes.

Chrono stared at her for quite sometime, but after Sinha snaps his fingers to make Chrono come to his senses.

"Chrono, if you stared at her like that, it'll make her feel uncomfortable... Normally" Sinha said something that worries Chrono

The girl didn't respond to anything that's happening, and stands there silently.

"This girl right here is a bit shy you see," Sinha touches her head to confirm that she's 'shy'

"But, it is weird for them to send her here" Sinha holds her jaw and think of an explanation

"Uhmm... Who might this be?" Chrono asked, while pointing his index finger at the mysterious girl
