The major event

Red was among the other viewers in the grandstand of the arena, and then when the first participants came into view, he opened his inventory and started organizing it

The two-player fought with their all, with their fairies giving support either by attacking the other player or disrupting the opposing fairy

<By the looks of this, the dude in black armor is probably the guy who lost his fairy because he mistreated it for being of lower rank when compared to his old party members, old man included. But that wolf is clearly a fairy of high rank... That wolf is a secret boss of this event, isn't it?... Yes, it definitely is>

Thanks to all his experience with games, he was able to see through the dev's intention with the fairy wolf helping the black knight guy. The fight continued for some minutes until the old man's fairy was taken out of combat by the wolf

"You did well partner"

"This is no time to get sidetracked, old man!"

But the black knight didn't give the old man paladin any time to get more sentimental, and now after losing his fairy, and having to defend against a player and an offensive fairy, the old man was assured to lose

"And now, the wolf fairy will change into a stronger form and rank, and offer the guy a sweet deal..."

And as Red expected, the wolf started to evolve into a hot muscled dude with wolf ears (A/N notes: You were waiting for a cute wolf beauty? But it was him, hot wolf macho!)

"Ho? So you evolved? Then that means you'll be more useful to me"

"You can stop right there, I, Luparious I, as the new ruler of the fairy nation, offer you the rewards for becoming the champion and a contract with a fairy with the same rank as mine before my evolution"

"Haa?"

"And the noob will reject the deal, have to fight a secret boss, that will be tailored to counter the build of the player it was following"

Red already managed to predict what the incoming result would be

"What in the actual [redacted] are you saying??? You're my fairy and you'll do whatever I tell you to do, even by force if necessary"

And with the countdown finished, the surprise boss battle began. With Luparius I starting it with a fire magic attack, as Red predicted, the black knight managed to block the first attack with his shield, but as he was hit from below by a second attack, now an earth magic attack, that was also a combo attack

"An initial attack with a fire attack as a fluke followed by earth magic... The best strategy against physical tanks in PvP"

Red just casually commented as he saw the player lose half of his health while he was combo-ed midair. When the black knight fell back on the floor, he gained a must distance between him and the boss and tried to use a potion, but the boss attack canceled his action

"It's a long-range boss, noob, you only heal when either it can't see you or if it's stunned, never at moments like these"

"Sh-... ORYAAAAAAH!!!"

The black knight lost all his patience and simply charged forward

"Foolish human!"

Luparious I then started charging a powerful attack, and because of the distance the black knight created between them, plus his low speed gave more than enough time for the boss to finish his charging, and Luparious I release his attack, a unidirectional beam of magic right towards the player

"Fu-!"

The black knight player tried to block it, but the attack had the unblockable trait, so he received the full damage of the attack with his health at half of its full points, that only meant one thing

"And dead... when you have nothing better to win with a battle, you avoid said battle, noob"

And with the fight finished with the boss victory, Luparious I addressed everyone else

"Now! That some matters have been resolved. I have an announcement to make..."

Then three players were teleported to the arena

"Those who engaged on only making friends with fairies, and attained the title of Fairy charmer, will have their fairies rank increased by one"

The two players who received that reward got excited, then Luparious I turned towards Red

"And you who was the only one to attain the title of Master of the fairy eletro god... Will receive the great honor of receiving a lavish reward"

"... I have to fight you, don't I?"

"Yes, the condition for you to receive said reward is by defeating me, in case you lose, you will also lose your current fairy contract"

And at seeing the conditions for the fight, Red could only do one thing

"Game on, mate"

Accept, because he wanted the lavish reward and because he knew he could defeat the boss
