4 Chapter 4- Figuring Out The System

As I walked around the city memorizing all the places I suddenly got a message from the system.

Int has increased by 1 point.

Thinking about what this could mean I hollered out status which in turn showed me the amazing sight of my status.

Name- Ace Lv.1

Str-5

Vit-5

Dex-5

Int-6 This stat affects how quickly you can gain experience for skills.

Special-0 This stat works to defend against spiritual, mana or other such attacks. This stat also shows how powerful you attacks of such a nature will be.

"Huh, so I have 3 sections for the system," I thought out loud.

No host the sections of the system are Items, Inventory, Status, Skills, and finally Shop.

Widening my eyes I thought back to the messages I had received, and finally made sense of them. After all where was the Items being deposited while they waited on buyers. Obviously they were in my inventory.

Looking at my Doritos that had leveled up to Lv.2 I decided to try something new. I yelled Inventory which in turn showed a screen that listed the amount left of each item that I had from the shop. From her numbers appeared for both the quality and level of that item.

Seeing a couple of names, low levels, and zeros started making me depressed. I promised myself I would rise this number eventually.Going on to the next and final section of the system I hollered out "Shop." When the words had fully dissipated from my surroundings the world stopped. It was almost as if some divine being had stopped time just for me so that I could look at the possible skills and items available in the shop. There was also pills that increased my stats as well as something called a Gachi Gachi Gacha.

"Nice," I mumbled in appreciation at the unique and diverse buying mode. I most likely would be using it as that would be the most fun option for my shop. Looking at the corner of the screen that I was browsing on I noticed it used Gold coins to function. The Gacha had a 1 Gold coin payment option, a 10 Gold coin payment option, and a 100 Gold coin payment option.

This pricing was done also for Platinum coins, White Gold coins, as well as Obsidian coins. Which were the progressively more expensive coins. To put the currency into a better visual example I asked the system to record it as a image that I could pull up if I holler for my Bartering skill. Surprisingly and happily the system did it for me.

100 Copper Coins = 1 Silver Coin

100 Silver Coins = 1 Gold Coin

1000 Gold Coins = 1 Platinum Coin

10000 Platinum Coins = 1 White Gold Coin

100000 White Gold Coins = 1 Obsidian Coin

Thanks to these outrageous prices it made me realize that the nobles most likely took every single bit of wealth from the poorer people. Thankfully the System took care of it all for me. Deciding to spend 5 Gold Coins on the first Option I immediately Got 5 new Items which happened to be the same Item repeated 5 times.

Lv.1-Rank F- White Construction paper- This paper can barely stay together and has multiple holes through out itself also it may attempt to flake apart and break. This paper also has the ability to enhance the writing speed of a person who writes on these sheets of paper. This effect will disappear when it is attempted to be recycled so no one can steal this product from the host. The current effect of the Construction paper was that when it was written upon it could safely increase the writing speed without causing any mistakes by 10 percent . The common paper has a quality equal to level 5 while the best is only at level 7 within this world currently. Cost=1 copper per 50 pieces. Currently have only 5000 for everyday

"System what does it mean when I get the same item repeated in the System store," I asked in worry wondering if I would lose the gold for nothing.

Don't worry host, the second way to increase the stock of a certain item is by winning a duplicate of that item in the Gacha. You are extremely lucky host to have done this five times. Even if the system increases the chances of getting already gained items in the Gacha just for this purpose.

Sighing in exasperation at not gaining any new items I looked back at my Items and noticed the limit for my Paper had increased to 30000 Sheets. The sight made me smile a bit even if it annoyed me with the thought of losing so much money for something that wouldn't make a difference until almost 100 billion years later of selling the stuff. After all I could only make 6 or so silver a day from the paper. And on top of that increasing the selling amount of the stuff only cost more money than in could generate in a month. This meant it would take 100 Days to start making a real worthwhile profit. It just wasn't worth it in the short term, and it probably wasn't worth it later as well considering the prices might rise even further if anything happened with the system. "Oh well," I thought aloud "what's passed has passed."
