3 Chapter 3- A New Product

Taking a fake silver coin according to the system out of the cash register I was now finished with the shop. According to the system whenever a coin enters the system it is converted into energy. To make sure the economy doesn't crash coins made out of System produced metals are given back.

Now that I had finished selling everything my business owned. I was left exploring the world I found myself in. First I went back to the main highway and memorized a few of the necessary stores for my survival.

Eventually I made my way to a small bakery. Once I had went inside all I could see was shelves of the same tasteless bread many of the poor people in this world was eating. Walking over to the counter I smiled as I greeted the Lady behind it "Hello there Madam, I was wondering if I could purchase some bread." Smiling back she pointed at the shelf and asked in a semi serious voice "How many do you want sir." Deciding to get some for the next couple of days including today I decided that five will do.

Nodding the woman got down 5 pieces of the rock hard brick and handed them to me "That'll be 10 copper sir." Nodding I pulled out a silver coin and watched as she shook in fright at the sight of it "By any chance sir are you a noble. If so I wish to apologize." Smiling at her I stopped her from bowing and said "No sadly I'm not a noble. I just recently got a good deal from a certain man who came to my shop." The woman who was glad that I wasn't a noble visibly slouched. "There evil men who always want to flaunt their statuses I tell you, and the worst part is that if you offend them, they just up and off you." Feeling her calm down and allow her accent to flow freely I start joking around with here lightening up the mood.

"A silver is quite the amount though or at least in this part of the town. Let me go get the boss and i'll get your change right away," Nodding because I wasn't worried that the woman would steal from I waited quietly.

Soon however I realized just how poor I was when another man came to give me the needed change. He accidentally put a gold coin into my hand at first. It was here that I realized that I was worse than some people on the side of the streets both here and back on earth. Looking at the money I was honestly tempted to steal it but not wanting to get into trouble for stealing such a large amount I carefully gave it back to him.

Seeing his wondering face I couldn't help but laugh on the inside of my mind. The man on the other hand seemed tore up about it. "Counting coins is one of the first things a merchant is taught, and losing like this would have just been embarrassing." Ignoring the poor man's internal debate I left the store and headed back to my place.

Having made it home I went to sleep without a shower. The next morning when I woke up I started realizing how bad I actually smelt. It made me wish that the store I was in had a bath or something. Knowing nothing would change where I was I started trying to figure out how to get a daily bath or shower. "I probably would need to rent a inn to stay in from now on," I mumbled to myself. With that decided I went up to the doors and waited for my first customer to arrive. Especially with a new item in.

The store has been automatically Opened.

New Item-

This enhances the flavor of the Doritos to be currently 5 times more delicious than earth's counterpart. By eating a whole bag's worth of the chips you can go from Cultivation stage 0 to 1. Each bag is the size of a Family bag of Doritos from earth. Each bag costs 1 Gold coin. Currently have only 10 bags everyday.

Sighing in amazement I walked up to the front door to open it when an angry man walks through. "When I bought that paper yesterday I was extremely excited to make a better quality paper out of it. But when I did I found out it didn't keep it's special ability. Why is that," the man asked in anger. Blinking a few times I immediately understood what had happened because of what the system said to me.

"It's something I tried already warning you about sir. The formations using invisible ink on the paper were shredded up when you tried to make better paper out of the already formed paper. But you were unwilling to listen to everything dealing with the product. It is also all written on the paper at the top right corner so you had the option of always knowing. We hold no responsibility for you negligent actions. If your interested, we can show you some higher quality paper of the same variety though.

The man who now understood what had happened grew awkward as he tried to put what he said behind him. "If that's the case then it's OK, so you said you have some higher quality paper of the same kind. I guess more of you goods have arrived. Nodding I brought him over to the shelf when he noticed the chips on the part next to the better paper.

"What are these," the man asked in curiosity. He seemed honestly curious about my goods since the first one had proven to be unique and novel in it's own way, much less useful. Smiling with charisma as I could wield I stepped over and grabbed a bag for him. "You see this is a Spirit and mana enhanced Food," I started before being cut of just as quickly, "I'll buy it. Do you want 10 gold or is that not enough." Smiling trying not to give away the feelings of being cheated by the system for pricing the good so lowly I moved my head side to side signaling no.

Sweating originally thinking he would need to buy it at a higher price but getting ready to offer it; he rejoiced as soon as he heard what I was trying to get across. "No these are made with a special farming method that has been discovered recently from another kingdom. The price as such has dropped down to a single gold coin," I stated hoping the man wouldn't catch on to the lie. Thankfully he didn't and immediately he brought out 10 gold coins as well as a silver coin to buy everything he needed and wanted. Waving his hand he once more put everything he needed away.

"By the way how do you open this spirit food," the man asked never having seen such strange storage containers before. Signalling towards the ring he brought one out and I held it in a strange position in front of him "Buy pulling with a certain amount of force here and here you can open the top of this "bag," I said. Nodding and understanding he took the Chips back and left. I wonder if I'll keep selling things at the rate I currently am. Hoping that I would I finally went out with my newly aquired funds. "Maybe I should finish exploring the city," I thought aloud.
