2 New world

The void: Bali's perspective

Darkness… All I saw was darkness. Is this the end? I mean I did get hit by a truck that was weighing over 2 tons. Probably. I don't know the specifics. And It doesn't matter anyway seeing that I am dead. Will I float here in the void? Or will I get a second chance like in anime. As I was mulling over that, I noticed that in the distance, there was a white dot. I then stood up, because even in the void, there was solid ground, and walked towards the white light. After walking like what seemed to be hours, I noticed that the light started to get bigger. Still walking toward it for another hour I arrived to a small white shrine that seemed to glow. In the middle of the shrine a sword in a stone.

Narrator

As Bali walked closer to the sword, he took notice of the sword's unusual style. Instead of pure white, it was lime green, with a dark gray hilt, and vibrant blue blade. Bali walked up to the pedestal and grabbed the sword, raising an eyebrow when the sword didn't budge. He then tried pulling the sword, and surprisingly it worked. Light flooded the whole void for a second but it went away as both Bali and the shrine disappeared, and the void was once again empty.

Somewhere in the northern part of the Fireblossom empire, a girl with long dark-brown hair, and almond colored eyes was walking along a road. Her attire consisted of a white kimono with red patterns at the sleeves. The girl's name is Kira Hitsu. She was walking down the usual route, from her home to the nearby village where she worked as the baker's assistant. The village was named Edgerest, and it resided around 50km from the port city Bronzebay. As Hitsu walked towards Edgerest she saw a light blue orb crash into the hill nearby and ran over to investigate. What she saw almost made her cry. There was a crater with the ground around it being charred and small rocks being scattered all over the crater's perimeter. However that wasn't what scared her. What scared her was the boy in the middle of the crater. His alarmingly thin figure was laying down with no indication of being awake. Hitsu also took note of the boy's odd clothing. Instead of the cape he had what she could only describe as the cross between a hood and a shirt. He also wore trousers and odd looking shoes. Next to him was a sword that was mostly lime green with the hilt being dark gray and the blade being sky-blue. Hitsu also saw a bit of the boy's dark brown hair that was barely visible, as well as the shirt under the shirt-cape. The shirt had the word "Sabaton" and a metal fortress on water printed on it. Hitsu snapped herself out from her train of thought when she noticed blood pooling under the boy's right arm. She hoisted the boy on her arm and dragged him to Edgerest. At her destination Hitsu dragged the brown haired boy to the nearby hospital, and went to help the local baker. That day she couldn't concentrate on her work. Three thoughts were ricocheting around her mind all day. Why did that boy fall from the sky, what happened to him and who was he?

Bali's perspective

I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a room with a bed, that I was laying on, a white wooden table and two similarly designed chairs. On the table there was a glass of golden liquid, and my clothes. Well only my hoodie and the t-shirt. On the floor next to the table there were my shoes and socks. The sword was leaning on the wall. Beyond the table there was an open door with several people in white uniforms going about their business. From that I'd say that I am in a hospital. As I pulled myself in a sitting position I heard someone enter the room. I turned to look at the person who walked into the room. It was a woman. She had long crimson hair, topaz colored eyes, and pointy ears. Her attire consisted of the white uniform I saw on the other people, as well as a scarlet colored cape over it. Hold on. Pointy ears? So I am in a new world where there are elves. I looked back outside, and that's exactly when she chose to speak those four iconic words: "Hey. You're finally awake."
