12 Team Girl Power + Zan 3

As riveting was it was watching a governor of an entire mountain city bow and beg for forgiveness in front of Azula, it really just wasn't that interesting.

Boredom getting the better of me, I left the 'throne room' behind and made my way out into the veranda that looked over the city of Omashu. Or rather, 'New Ozai' as Azula decided to change its name to. Honestly, gag me.

'Is there any worlds open to me where I can jump to go get a game console or something?' I mused as I leaned over the railing. As fun as bending was, it and training was the only thing to do for entertainment right now.

Those were the options I was given initially. I don't know if anything has been added yet, but assuming I could go to any of them, that meant Bleach, High School DxD, High School Of The Dead, Rosario Vampire and Resident Evil were my only options for a modern world.

Oh wait, Solo Levelling takes place in a modern world as well. From any of them I should be able to get a few handheld consoles like even just a game boy or something. Really, anything to pass the time. Though, I definitely wouldn't be going to a few of them for a while since the kind of abilities from those worlds were great and I couldn't get some of them without perk points, at least according to the system,

"You know, you really shouldn't just walk off like that when Azula is talking to people," Ty Lee's voice from me from my thoughts. I looked over my shoulder to see her walking up behind me, "She might let it go once or twice, but take it for granted and she'll get mad, and trust me, you won't like her when she's mad."

I don't even really like her now, "So?" I asked, raising my eyebrow at her. I am a prideful person, there's only so much kowtowing I can do before I lose the rag and tell her to go fuck herself. If it comes down to it I have no problems jumping to say, High School Of The Dead and grinding on the mass amount of zombies there. Even if they only gave me one experience point apiece, there was millions of them there easily.

I confirmed with the system itself ages ago, that quite simply all I needed to do was think or say a certain command and I could jump worlds. I'll happily give up the benefits of the perks I could get from a world like High School Of The Dead instead to keep my pride in tact.

"This is Azula we're talking about Zan. You know, the princess of the strongest country of this world, the heir to throne and one of the greatest benders alive," Ty Lee pointed out seriously, a marked change from her usual perky attitude, "Azula says you're pretty strong, but don't let it get to your head, Azula is incredibly powerful and can have the entire fire nation against you if she wants."

"Again, so?" I asked once more, turning around to face her, I casually leaned back against the railing, "Let me tell you something Ty Lee, I only agreed to guard Azula and come along on this little mission of hers because I thought it was the best way to see a master fire bender in action and see what I can learn for my own bending. If she starts trying to abuse the authority I'm letting her have over me, I'm gone, and if she tries to kill me, she won't like the results."

The fact of the matter is, while I'm very sure Azula is my superior as a fire bender, and maybe has a decent leg up on me in stats, at the very least she's got way more dexterity, the fight with Iroh showed me something. The gap at least physically isn't that big, and in fact, I may actually be the superior between the two of us when it comes to endurance thanks to the Imperial Fire Bender armour I have.

With my resistance to the fire element with Sozin Style and Dragon Blooded, and Lightning Redirection, I'm fairly sure I have a good shot at taking her one on one. After all, unlike me, who has the body of a game character and take more or less the same damage from a slash on the arm or a slash in the neck and won't die so long as I have health points left, a single blade through her jugular will kill her dead.

I'd much rather get a few more levels before I even think of taking her on, but I'm not afraid to take her on now if I have to.

Ty Lee was silent for a moment, before smiling almost enviously at me, "You're not scared of her at all are you? Your aura didn't even fluctuate at all, you really don't feel even a tiny bit of fear from her," a small sad sigh left her mouth and she stepped over beside me to lean over the railing and look out over the city of New Ozai, "I wish I felt like that."

Ah, that was right. Ty Lee and Mai were afraid of Azula, always had been since they were little girls, constantly walking on egg shells around her. While Azula herself happily embraced the title of 'monster', what she thought her mother believed her to be.

I eyed the girl at my side, noting the sad frown on her face and the melancholy in her chocolate brown eyes and mentally sighed, curse my bleeding heart, "You wanna see a secret of mine?" I asked, smiling at her, "Something I've never shown to anyone else."

"Hmm? Not even Azula?" Ty Lee blinked and asked curiously.

"Not even her, I've not told anybody," I gave her a wink, before with a thought, withdrew the fire nation soldier helmet from my inventory, making it appear in one of my hands, "Check it out."

Ty Lee went wide eyed, "How did you do that?" she asked.

"See, when I was a little boy, I got possessed by a spirit," I replied,, beginning to lay out a story I'd prepared in advance for my abilities beyond bending, "It was a dragon spirit, really mad that all the dragons got hunted, it ran around causing chaos in my body, and when it eventually got tired of possessing me and left, I ended up keeping a few of its abilities."

"And that's one of the abilities you kept?" Ty Lee leaned forward, eyeing the helmet in my hand, "What kind of ability is that?" she asked excitedly.

"Well, this is only one of a few of them I got, I call it Inventory," I 'explained', "See, the dragon had some kind of expanded space within its soul where it could store anything it wanted. I've got the same now, and any item I get my hands on, I can store it in there, and then bring it out whenever I want." and to punctuate my words, I stowed the helmet back within my inventory, and it disappeared from view.

"Oh wow!" her eyes practically sparkled, "That's so cool!"

"I know right?" I grinned proudly, "I can store practically anything in there for when I need it, from money to even a battleship if I want." and amazingly enough, I could make things appear as I pleased. So I could say, shoot a bunch of swords out from wherever I pleased, in my general vicinity at least. The inventory for all intents and purposes, was just like the Gate of Babylon.

When we leave the Royal Barge behind, I'm totally going to raid the barracks for every single weapon stored on the ship.

"Ah, you could totally up and go wherever you want, taking everything, even your house with you couldn't you?" Ty Lee mused eagerly, "That's way more useful than being able to throw some fire around."

She frowned a bit after she said that and looked at me weirdly, "Still, why did you tell me of all people if you haven't told anyone else about this?" Ty Lee asked.

I flicked her on the nose, "You looked like you could use cheering up, you were looking pretty sad a minute ago."

"Ow, you big meanie bully!" she rubbed her nose and glared cutely at me, despite her words though, she was smiling.
