10 Team Girl Power + Zan 1
Two days had passed since my and Azula's quite frankly embarrassing defeat at the hands of Iroh. I knew he'd been incredibly strong, but I'd underestimated just how strong. And the fight against him taught me a lot.
And it made me think of what he made Zuko focus on during all of his training over the three years he was hunting for the Avatar. The basics.
Besides the Lightning Redirection, everything Iroh used, was firmly rooted in the basics, no advanced forms or techniques were needed, and he absolutely crushed nineteen fire bending soldiers, myself and Azula in less than a minute. His monstrous physical abilities helped of course, but all of his movements, were basic, yet, crisp, precise, and beautifully performed.
I was too focused on learning and recreating all the big, powerful, and flashy techniques I remembered and forgot about the basics, the root which all those big powerful, and flashy techniques were formed from.
So, instead of spending the last two days working on any of the techniques I remembered, I just drilled myself. Over and over and over again I ran through the basic movements of the martial arts, what in my old life was known as Shaolin kung fu, of Fire Bending. And thanks to my body as a gamer, when I ran out of breathe, my muscles hurt too much to even move and my body felt like lead, all I needed, was to spend around a half hour resting, and I was once again in tip-top shape. It didn't do anything for mental fatigue, but I could still train for massively longer times, more frequently than anyone else whenever I pleased thanks to it.
And the prodigious perk I purchased showed its worth consistently. Every time I made the slightest bit of an error in my technique, I noticed and was able to adjust as I continued through the motions, burning the basics into my muscle memory over and over again.
'She'll be back soon.' I thought as I came out of my final set, my fist outstretched and panting deeply. The Royal Barge had docked at another port town in the early afternoon, and it was alright dark out. Azula had left alone when we docked, to go meet an 'old friend.'
Ty Lee, I was sure.
'Status.' I thought, bringing up my stat page screen.

I hadn't spent the stat points I'd gained from levelling them up yet. And through two days of constant fire bending martial arts basic sets, my Endurance had risen by an extra three, making it level with my strength stat. I'd gained another chi crystal from the quest as a reward as well, and with it and my level up, I'd risen to a max total of two thousand chi points, which was increased by twenty percent thanks to my expert ranking in the Sozin Style Fire Bending.
'May as well do it now, if I remember right, tomorrow we'll head to Omashu and end up fighting Aang, Katara, and Sokka.' I mused.
I put three into dexterity and two into strength, then checked my stats over again.

I nodded approvingly, liking the looks of where I'm sitting at, before sighing. 'Relationships.' I thought, bringing up the relationship screen.

Somehow, in the course of me getting my shit pushed in by Iroh and getting knocked the fuck out when I saved Iroh, all my relationship routes had increased quite massively. I even got reputation with Zuko and Affection to! I hadn't even exchanged any words with the guy. So I can only assume that Iroh let him know that I warned him of Azula's betrayal and my giving him those earth kingdom coins.
And I suppose me saving Azula was what rose my relationship points with her up as well. Though, it would have been nice to hear a thank you. She'd barely said much of anything to me since then. Not that I really minded. Still, some gratitude wouldn't go remiss.
Shaking my head, I put her out of my thoughts and decided to check over something else. I brought back up my main stat page and eyed my abilities.

With the creation of the flaming hammer blow and getting down the flame propulsion technique on instinct, I'd risen up forty-five percent extra on the way to the next tier of Sozin Style Fire Bending.
I wonder what the next rank tier is? Master maybe? But it feels way too quick to ascend to master level. Granted, Katara went from scrub water bender to master water bender in a few days of tutelage under a water bending master like Pakku.
Either way, I still have plenty of fire bending techniques to try and recreate from memory, and I'd even learned with the flaming hammerhead blow, that it was possible to create my own techniques with the system. I already have an idea in mind for a signature technique, though it's something I think will take a decent bit of effort to make work.
I was broken from my thoughts by the sound of two girls, voices. One, the familiar drawling voice of Azula, the other, perky, chirpy and warm.
"My who's this?" I looked over at the sound of the perky voice, just in time to see Azula and another very familiar girl, dressed in a cut off pair of pink pants and a pink top that bared her lithe, toned midriff to my eyes, and even through the poncho like vestment hanging from her shoulders, I could still make out her large, perky round breasts that strained against her top, "He's a yummy looking one isn't he."
"Goodness Ty Lee, do you have no restraint?" Azula rolled her eyes, "His name is Zan, he'll be joining us on our little journey to capture my traitorous brother and uncle."
"Zan huh? You made a friend Azula?" Ty Lee cocked her head to the side as she asked her, before meeting my eyes with her own chocolate brown coloured ones and winking at me, "That's new."
"I can make friends thank you very much." Azula humphed, crossing her arms.
"Still, I bet there's a story behind this, you don't usually pay attention to boys," Ty Lee giggled before strolling over towards me, "Heya, I'm Ty Lee, looks like we'll be working together for a little bit." she greeted me perkily. She was a very perky girl.
Very beautiful too. If Azula had the beauty of a classical painting worth millions, Ty Lee had the warm, inviting beauty of a kind girl next door, combined with a bodacious, voluptuous body that would make a porn star green with envy.
"I'm Zan, but you already know that," I smiled back at her, "Nice to meet you."
"You too!" she winked at me again, before humming and tapping her chin, "You know, you're really interesting."
I raised an eyebrow, "How so?" I asked, even as I focused on the girl to get a look at her level.

She was only a single level under Azula. That was pretty impressive, I think. I mean, she doesn't have bending, but with her sheer agility and ability to disable not only the body but chi as well with just a few blows, then it made sense. Ty Lee was one of the most dangerous people in the setting and she made the Chi Blockers from Legend of Korra look like complete weaklings.
"It's your aura!" she said, gesturing widely with her arms, "I've seen so many different kind of auras over the years, but never one like yours. A bright, blinding gold, I've never seen anything like it."
That's right, she always went on about being able to see peoples aura's and the like didn't she? That was interesting. "So what you're saying is that even my aura is awesome?" I grinned.
She blinked, "Awesome?"
Oh right, "Just a word I picked up before, means really amazing or along those lines." I explained.
Her lovely brown eyes lit up, "Oh, then yeah, your aura is totally awesome, the most awesome I've seen yet even," Ty Lee replied before grinning impishly, and poking me in the stomach, specifically my bare skin since I wasn't wearing a top, right in the middle of my rigid abs, "Not the only thing awesome you've got though. He's got a really awesome body too right Azula?" she called over her shoulder.
Azula huffed and looked away, "Yes yes, he has a very 'nice' and 'awesome' body," she drawled again before rolling her eyes at her friend, "Now, will you stop flirting with Zan so we can go and get some dinner? I for one am famished."
"Okay Azula." Ty Lee perkily agreed.
"Thank whatever spirit is worth a damn," Azula muttered before making her way towards the inner building of the ship, she paused for a moment as she passed me, and I caught her eyes lingering on my bare chest, "Training yourself diligently again Zan? Good effort, keep it up." she..praised me I guess, before hurriedly continuing on towards her destination.
Ty Lee giggling drew my attention back to her, "Well I guess I better hurry up before Azula gets mad at me," she mused, "It was nice meeting you Zan."
"You too," I nodded, placing a hand on her shoulder and stopping her as she made to walk by me, "Oh, and thought I'd mention, but you have an awesome body as well."
Ty Lee giggled, her cheeks flushing a little pink, "Thanks, glad you like it!" she replied, before practically skipping ahead. Then before my very eyes, she seamlessly rolled forward, transitioning into a hand stand...only on her index fingers, balancing her full body weight easily. Bending her body in a curving motion as she began walking, and drawing my attention to her hips, they with slim, yet full, it was an odd combination to notice. And of course, her ass, just like her tits, it was large, perky and oh so round.
Ty Lee's head sticking under her at the bottom met my eyes and she winked at me, before carrying on and walking after Azula on her finger tips alone.
Man, that was some crazy strength she had to have in her digits now that I was watching her.

Well now, isn't that interesting? I licked my lips. 'Now I'm really glad I decided to stick around Azula.' I smirked to myself.
