7 Chapter 6 - 1st World: Reality
Summer vacation is both a wonderful and terrible time, it gives you all the time you need to do whatever you want to do. But there is so much time you don't know but to do with all of it. While my friends have been keeping me company a lot, I have had enough time to rank up some of my skills, including ranking up both Equations and Karate to Intermediate, however even Studying which normally levels up insanely fast, has still only reached LV 3. The speed at which karate grew slowed down exponentially once I reached Intermediate, but even Intermediate tier Karate should be good enough for now, but probably the biggest bonus from practicing it is that I have yet again increased my physical stats. With all the bonus points that I got from leveling up, I upgraded my Status viewer to see if I could find more skills. I did discover that Mike and the teachers all had the Teaching skill and a few of them also had the skill Research, but I don't really have anyone to teach nor anything to research so those will be left aside for now.
I was able to make sure that Mike's karate was only Intermediate rank, which is probably one of the reasons my leveling slowed down so much, but even if we are both at Intermediate rank now, I still can't beat him in a fair fight, although I did beat him once when he got distracted, I claim it counts but to this day he still claims that it doesn't. When I end up having to leave this world, he is probably the one I will miss the most, while my family is nice to me. They don't really do that much and are just kind of there most the time. Sadly, the system states that while it can bind someone's soul to mine for a price, the only reason my memories are kept when I will transfer from world to world is that it stores my memories and then slowly gives them back from when I become 2 to 3 years old. However, it can't store other peoples memories in danger of mixing them up. While I have theories that I could get around that, my point totals are too low for me to start experimenting.
Knowing that everything relies on points I try even harder to become more qualified, however, Electrical Engineering still won't rank up. Near the end of summer vacation, I have a breakthrough when I try programming. While I am not that good at it, it seems like that is all the push that was needed and it starts ranking up insanely fast due to all of the practice I had at everything else. In the first week, I got 4 levels, and by the end up the vacation, it even reached Intermediate LV 3, going from simple to my second best in only a single month, not even counting the time I spent with my friends.
As we got our schedules I found myself having 5 classes with mike(including lunch), as well as sharing 3 classes with both Glenn and Leo, somehow we even ended up all having the same ELA class at the same time. The school year went insanely fast and it felt like it ended as soon as it started. The only really interesting things that happened is that at one point Mike dated this girl for about 5 days(why it only lasted 5 days I have no idea, but I was kind of happy when he started hanging out with us more again and got annoyed at myself for being happy about it) as well as Leo and Glenns arguments, while they sometimes act like they despise each other most of the time, they do come through when they need to, most of the time, at one point they both got ISS for a few days but weren't willing to share with anyone what happened, many rumors went around for a while but none of them were ever confirmed by anyone.
As the school year ended Leo and Glenn started to drift away, not because of us, but because they got lots of good friends. As I have trouble with making new friends I ended up drifting away from them at school, as well and hanging out with Mike more, he enjoyed the company and we hung out with each other most of the time. Neither of us really had many other friends and enjoyed hanging out with each other. Most days we hung out with each other after school. In the end. It seems like this was a pretty good school year. I studied hard and ranked up some skills, and I had good times with a friend.
Authors Note: Fun fact, somehow throughout high school, I ended up having ELA class with 3 of my friends every year. The chances of that must be pretty low, about 300 kids per grade, with about 6 classes of ELA in CP, each class having about 24 students. and we each ended up with each other every year, not to mention if our other classes ever conflicted we wouldn't be in the same class so the mathematics becomes even harder, while I am sometimes willing to, I am not going to spend 3 hours today on a problem I don't really care about, especially when I still have 2 more chapters to do.
Whatever world I do next to better have lots of monsters or enemies because I am dying to write a fight scene by now, whatever, this world is still fun to write. Also, by now it should be obvious who the ML is, I have been studying and practicing writing romance but I am not sure how it is going and if anyone has any suggestions for improvement please do comment. I do try to read every single comment and have so far responded to every single comment(that I could find, when I get to like 10-20 chapters I am not going to look through every chapter to find every comment, but I do try)
While I did not write down the specific skills leveled up during the school year, he did rank up English, and learned Scientific Theory and ranked it up to beginner(changed biology to Science and rearranged it a little) as well as simple physics(ignore the fact that while the points match up now, the way that it is currently makes some of the previous purchases unavailable at the time of purchase(shushhhhhhhhhh)).

Abilities:
Studying Maniac(Starter): After studying without a break for 3 hours, all studying effects shall double until the concentration is broken, and it shall be much harder for you to lose concentration once the effect starts. For best effects, set an alarm of some kind, or you could easily find yourself having no sleep or missing events
Upgrade: 10K to do one of the following(decrease activation time and concentration required or increase studying efficiency)
