1 Sending Out a Clone

'Crackle'

On a peaceful sunny day, where sects were bustling, birds were chirping merrily and gossip spread through the air, red lightning shot down from the sky startling all those who saw it. As soon as the lightning appeared, it disappeared as if it was just a momentary illusion.

"Haaa.... Dad didn't have to kick me out of the house right when I reached a bottleneck did he?" a young 15 year old boy said while inside of a desolate mountain cave.

This boy had fiery red hair with vibrant golden eyes. His red sharp sword like eyebrows amplified his stern and profound gaze as he scanned the cave with interest. He stood at roughly 6 feet tall with smooth white skin along with his slender figured but well defined muscles which only amplified his ethereal and celestial demeanor.

This boy didn't know when he would breakthrough his bottleneck but he really wanted to do so as it left him a foreign and uncomfortable feeling.

The boy raised his right arm as a short golden translucent string came out of his palm floating next to him. This was a string of consciousness which would allow one to clone him or herself with powers equal to the length and amount of strings he or she took out.

As a bit of time went by, the previous string of consciousness slowly turned itself into a humanoid version of the boy beside him. Looking at each other, the features of these two were identical down to the very last detail.

The clone looked at the boy as he left the mountain cave with an understanding gaze.

As the clone and the boy were one, the clone naturally knew that the boy would stay in this cave until he breaks through the bottleneck and reach the next realm in his cultivation.
