[You have obtained a fundamental understanding of crafting. 1 of 2 conditions for ?????? unlocked.]

"I guess this is one of those hidden features. And given that I had to understand crafting then I guess that means it relates to making items compared to something like making a profound skill."

After exiting the shop due to the fact Jin remembered he did have Crystal Release which could let him make his own weapons, he couldn't help but smack his own forehead despite the unexpected harvest.

Spending a few more coins on street food, Jin began making his way back while combing his hair over his eyes with his fingers to hide the appearance of his active Sharingan as he trained it to get past the single tomoe stage.

Reading the flow of the crowd as well as whatever expressions they had to try and gain insight into their true thoughts. A sincere look here, a sly gleam there, some with an odd tick whenever he had to lie and the genuine smile when someone had something go their way.

While he observed everything around him, one of his hands carrying food and the other in the form of single handed tiger sign as he drew on his vitality to turn it into profound energy; Turning his profound energy into Yang Release and revitalizing his body in a near perpetual cycle that invigorated his body as a method of subtle training. While it wouldn't hold the same benefits of practicing like Might Gai and Rock Lee's Strong Fist fighting style, it would let his muscles bare a greater burden before being damaged which meant he could do more extreme forms later as well as raising the rank of his new Yang Release from Rank 1 to Rank 2 which would make it easier to use as well as allowing him to keep a larger portion of energy inside his profound veins.

As he made his way back to his room, Jin began to make a mental checklist. 'First things first, since my Crystal release is an evolved form of Earth Release, then Earth Style should cost next to nothing. That means if I wanted to I could even dig up that 50 kilograms of Purple Veined Divine Crystals before the Divine Phoenix empire would detect it. I could even refine the crystals myself. There is also solving Jasmine's poison problem. While I do want to take a look at the Phoenix Spirit, do I even need that bloodline? The Azure Dragon would be ideal though since a strong body would be helpful with Taijutsu training and even bearing the load if I learned the Eight Inner Gates.

Right, so I should first finish filling my profound veins with energy.

Second, open up the Purple Crystal mine and use it to speed up my cultivation.

Third, sell two or three self-made crystals filled with Yang energy since those seem to be useful for people who need healing and there was one that could be bought for at least 600 Purple Profound Coins despite it being unstable.

Fourth, get in contact with Qingyue. Whether he decides to go through with breaking the wedding with Xiao Che. Though, since she is a beauty and focused so much on finding her mother that she even was willing to kill off her emotions, at least I can say anyone she chooses to love would definitely be blessed.'

Since he made his list, Jin was going to keep it. Though getting to know Qingyue who was at the True Profound realm by the time she was 14 would make it difficult to approach, it wouldn't be hard since her heart was still that of a young girl despite her attempts. It was simply too early. Taking a step back, even if she didn't fall for him, simply helping her out with some information wouldn't even be a loss for him.

Nodding to himself, he made sure to remove the Talismans from his old clothes before sitting down on his bed with his prepared food and meditating to better refine his spiritual and mental power that exceeded his physical body. Turning it into a sharpened intent through his eyes as the tomoe inside his sharingan began to spin underneath his lids, a second one slowly forming as his Yin Release broke through from the beginner rank into Rank one, then Rank two and the third where it stayed by the time the second tomoe was almost formed. It only took one more push before he would have made it to the fourth rank and the eye of hypnotism would open which would give him access to planting weak suggestions in targets that he locked eyes with. At his current rate, he would reach three tomoe at the ninth rank and his Mangekyou at the tenth.

Yet, his progress stopped for a simple reason. He simply lacked sleep.

Alternating between spiritual meditation and cultivating with small bits of Yang Release to keep his body in prime condition, it took only three days after the first to reach the top of the Elementary Profound Realm. Finally taking a break, he asked Raven how long he had cultivated and learned how much time had passed. 'There are only two days left for this room. I should hurry and open that mine. With my current strength the profound beast in the area won't be a problem and the first gate of the Wind and Lightning Art is fully open as well, boosting my speed, reflexes and reaction speed. There is also the technique that belongs to the first gate, Lightning Strike which is surprisingly simple instant boost of attack speed. Well, I guess that it would be good for throwing off people's rhythm and reversing a bad start.'

Cleaning himself with his profound energy, he began making his way out of his room only to overshoot his steps and slam face-first into the door due to the increase in speed. His first reaction after being caught off guard being to raise his arms and protect his head.

"Shit... guess I'll have to get use to this or keep my eyes active from now on. Meh, the former seems better for now."

Slowing himself down, he eased himself from the inn while everyone was eating for the morning and dodging the pout from Yan Xue for not showing up for breakfast two days ago with an apologetic wry grin.

As he moved through the crowd toward the east gate that lead toward the mountains where the Purple crystals were buried. Even though there were profound beast, they were the weakest in the grand scheme of things and it also gave him a reason to train in his Body Flicker as he grew more proficient in his new speed. He taking off after walking a certain distance from the small city with a burst of speed that left an afterimage in his previous spot while concentrating on understanding the Crystal Release knowledge the system gave him on the basics of it to create a single-edged straight sword, from the moisture in the air, similar to the Sword of Kusanagi that Orochimaru gave Sasuke. Jin giving the blade a few test swings before opening the store and purchasing a basic kenjutsu skill for 10-SP, half his total amount since he planned to make it back by killing and selling the bodies to the system for points.

After the experiences were implanted in his head, he made some minor changes to his crystal sword to increase the blade's sharpness and durability.

Coming across his first profound beast, a large boar at the first stage of the Nascent Soul Realm, Jin launched into an assault. His body flickering into various afterimages as he increased his speed with energy, surrounding the animal to confuse its sight, the first cut aimed at the beast's tendons at the back of it's legs. Though it seemed the boar sensed the danger coming from behind, it kicked backwards in an attempt to land a hit. Even though the kick connected, the Jin that was hit only faded as the image was broken. The various image copies of him striking at the same time while aiming for its vitals while the real version of him made use of the Lightning Strike technique to instantly thrust his blade deep into the boar's eye and pierce its brain which killed it in an instant.

Given that it was his first time killing, even if it was just a boar, he was surprised by how easy it died. The fragility of life not lost to him, this only reinforced the concept. Jin considering his own life and the various powers that could end it without him having a chance to fight back, just like he had done to the boar.

"...I should work harder and aim for more. There are so many sick bastards just on this Profound Sky continent that it's ridiculous. Even the ones that suffer and work hard to get where they are grow arrogant most of the time and try forcing their will on others, not even mentioning those useless flops who ride on their elder's coattails."

Wiping off the blood from his blade on the beast's fur, he placed a hand on the boar's side and asked Raven, who's avatar appeared resting on his shoulder after the fight was over, how to obtain points from killing profound beast.

[Host has already obtained five System Points for the action of killing a Nascent Soul Realm profound beast. If you wish, you can also sell the corpse to the system for a price equal to its point worth unless said body contains valuable materials which would enhance the amount of points obtained from selling them depending on the rarity. To sell to the system, host only has to touch the corpse and think of selling it.

And before you ask, the amount of points changes depending on the realm of the beast killed.

Elementary Profound Realm beast are worth 1-SP.

Nascent Soul Profound Realm beast are worth 5-SP.

True Profound Realm beast are worth 10-SP.

Spirit Profound Realm beast are worth 100-SP.

Earth Profound Realm beast are worth 500-SP.

Sky Profound Realm beast are worth 1,000-SP.

Emperor Profound Realm beast are worth 10,000-SP.

Tyrant Profound Realm beast are worth 50,000-SP.

Sovereign Profound Realm beast are worth 100,000-SP.]

Thinking over the prices, he couldn't help but think about the prices he could get for killing things in the Divine Realm. It considering the pattern of increase of a jump every three realms at the Nine Mortal Realms, it was possible that it would jump per level at the Seven Divine Realms.

Shaking the thought, it was much too soon to be considering such a thing. First, he sold off the boar's body to recover his loss at buying the basics of Kenjutsu. Even though he could raise the level by buying the next two installments that were priced at 15 and 20-SP respectively, he could also raise it by experiencing sword fights and killing beast to refine his techniques. And given that he had seen various anime and other media in his previous life, he certainly wasn't lacking in 'innovation' for new sword skills and attacks.

Looking toward the sky, Jin smiled as bright as the sun as he thought about the future. Heading deeper into the eastern mountains.
