7 Meeting Qingyue

Keeping the scrolls inside his sleeve, Jin began to head back to the city while getting used to his enhanced speed again before activating his Sharingan to deal with the boost from using Body Flicker. He suppressing his energy and presence to avoid the profound beast even if they weren't much of a threat since he could easily outrun them, all while humming to himself.

Since it wouldn't take long, he initially began trying to infuse his crystals with Yang energy but noticed that the vegetation around him grew rapidly at an out of control pace when exposed to it whenever it was released outside his body. This wouldn't do considering he was in the mountains and getting closer to town which would draw attention when he wasn't ready for people asking questions just yet. While buying various Ninjutsu from the system store would give him the knowledge on how to preform them, actual mastery could only come from practicing them himself.

This was also applied to his Sharingan since he tried to keep it active as much as possible without exposing the scarlet light, which would only become more pronounced in the darkness which limited his training time to the day or when he was alone.

'Speaking of alone, if I wanted to break the marriage, the one I would need to speak to first wouldn't be the Xia Family but the Xiao family, especially Xiao Lie. Xia Honyi is a family man so if Qingyue were to ask then he wouldn't mind too much if the situation was explained.'

[New System Mission!]

║{Missions}

[Main Mission(2): Aid the Blue Wind Nation!

~The Blue Wind Nation is losing authority over the years and its emperor is dying while corruption filled the imperial palace. It is now your mission, accomplished in any way you see fit, to change the situation.

-Conditions: Completion (Restoration of Imperial Authority and reputation among other nations) ; Failure (No change after 5 years)

-Reward: 20,00 SP; +2 to all affinities

-Penalty: Locking of Mission and Store Systems for the next 5 years]

Coming to a dead stop, the content of the mission as well as the fact the mission itself showed up struck him like a bolt from out of the blue. He wondered what had triggered this as the second mission instead of a random quest. Though, considering the events in the original story, those events could indeed be called a turning point for the Profound Sky Continent as it lead to the rise of Cang Yue as Empress as well as giving the Divine Phoenix Empire a small reality check when the small Blue Wind nation defeated their younger generation.

It was something like this that gave him the idea to play around in those events before traveling around the other nations, which would give some sway to his name.

"Hmm, now that I think about it... Do I want to keep my old family name? I'm basically alone in this world without anyone to share a connection with besides Raven."

Giving a small exhale, Jin leaned his shoulder against the closest tree as he crossed his arms across his chest as he thought about his younger brother, Jun, again. The only reason he got so into reading and drawing in the first place was because of him. Reading him stories when he was a kid as well as working on his own art, which he ended up falling in love with doing, when Jun claimed he wanted to make a manga together. Their first draft was pretty bad when compared to those that got published.

It was a silly kids story with a lead character who defeated everything that came his way, which was a hit for the other kids they showed it to at their old orphanage before Jin got a job assisting mangakas for a while before trying to strike out on his own. While he never made it big compared to those select few that became considered 'gods' in such a social circle, he did enjoy his work at least.

The first hero he ever made, the main character that showed the connection with his brother despite their age difference of nearly ten years. He couldn't remember what they called him, but he did remember the name of his finishing move. It was kinda funny since it translated to White Lotus despite there being nothing white about it and was more of a crimson color when considering the blood that dripped from his blade at the end. It was never much since there was no way the caretakers would allow it, just enough to form a drop at the tip.

"Alright then. From now on instead of Takakage, I'll be Jin Byakuren. Better than being lazy and calling myself an Uchiha with these eyes."

Chuckling to himself, he accepted his new mission with a smile gracing his feminine face as his phoenix-like eyes sharpened while he disappeared from his location in a burst of leaves and appearing back at the Drifting Cloud inn. Giving a friendly wave to Yan Xue, he vanished straight into his room after he paid for an extension on his stay for another fifteen days.

Spending the time sitting on his bed and thinking, he mumbled to himself. "The Shadow Clone Technique requires you to split your energy into parts equal to the number of clones. One clone requiring half, while two require thirds, and so on. It shouldn't be too hard if I just practice making normal clones first then adding my profound energy to them, right? If I do that, then I can focus on cultivating while it practices the various techniques. Or should I try for the Jade Crystal Mirror and the Jade Crystal Clones?"

Since he was unsure if the Crystal clones would actually transmit their experiences back to him, Jin opted for the former option since it was more likely to give results. The only reason people didn't use shadow clones too often in the Naruto series was that everything the clone experienced was transmitted back which included pain as well as the fact just one dropped their chakra by half and two would leave them with a third. Naruto himself an exception who was not only an Uzumaki who had massive reserves of chakra but also the host of Kurama who seemed to have nearly endless amounts of chakra in the earlier portion of the series.

Giving it a try, the first three attempts at making clones were only distorted images as well as the third being too stiff to fool anyone. After those first few failures, he managed a single perfect clone which made him smile which was mirrored and made him frown. "Don't I look a little too charming when I smile? If it wasn't for my clothes and the fact using Yang Release on my body continuously gave me a toned form, I would swear a woman just smiled at me. Geh. Now I'm calling myself a woman, crap."

Shaking his head, Jin dispelled the clone and waited for his energy to replenish before continuing with practice. After a few hours and managing five perfect clones, he attempted to infuse more chakra into his next attempt while focusing on making only one copy who had half his total profound energy.

The end result was as he had expected, a perfect shadow clone but it was more tiring than he expected to lose half his energy all at once. If this was a battle situation then such a drain could be fatal, making more sense why it wasn't used now that he experienced it personally.

Since the clone had all his knowledge, it already knew what to do and began going through the general skills and training in transformation by turning into people who he had seen walking through the city. The learning bonus seemed to have applied to even his clone as well since it didn't take long to get the skill down. Moving on to the next, it worked on energy control and shifting between affinities. After using Yin release, Jin noticed that it was possible to manipulate his own shadow similar to Shikamaru, which explained what their clan ability was but also made the 'Ino-Shika-Cho' formation odd if considering their nature releases being Yin-Yin-Yang since Choji's expansion jutsu was also an application of Yang Release.

With two of him cultivating, and working on their techniques as well as sparring for battle practice against actual human targets, the next fifteen days were rather fulfilling since every time he released the Shadow Clone, he could feel his battle experience and profound energy reserves growing. It not taking long before he broke through again into the True Profound realm which was followed by the Realm Package, holding the same amount of Purple Coins and SP but Genjutsu: Sharingan for a store item, and his eyes finally reaching the third tomoe which strengthened his Eye of Insight as well as Eye of Hypnotism.

After making sure to study the technique since he didn't have a target to use it on and adjusting to the boost in his body by the third gate, Jin left his room with his form fading as an afterimage. Heading out for the first time in days, it felt great to be among the crowd once in a while. It didn't take long before he ended up at Xia manor and his timing couldn't have been more opportune considering that the guards to the rowdy place gave a salute to a young girl dressed in blue with her face covered with a veil. Obviously such a girl would be Xia Qingyue, since she did like to wear red and blue colored dresses and was the only one the guards would welcome home since Hongyi never remarried.

Originally he had come here since the Xia family was a merchant family, he figured Hongyi would be able to get him a few space rings as well as medical cases better than what was already sold with his connections if he traded a Purple Crystal for them as giving him a second as a gift for making an impression. It would also help if he could have his Yang Crystals appraised since he had made some progress the past few days mixing Crystal Release with Yang Release.

Since the chance was here, he might as well take it and meet her face to face.
