I still don't understand why he takes them to be his "real" parents, he is a million years older than them, and the only relation to them is the biology of the body he occupies, it has nothing to do with his mind or who he is as a person, does he not have real parents from his past life? How is it filial piety when he seems to have forgotten his real parents and adopted this pair of kids(compared to him)as his "real" parents, it is more like betrayal of his actual parents who brought him up, a disrespect. It's also pure stupidity because he is letting it affect his life, influence his mind and decisions, making him worry and taking unnecessary risks for no real reason. Males no sense at all for his character, only to make a convoluted plot where the Mc actually cares about consequences in the lower realm, and raise the stakes.

God what a stupid chapter. Characters like these only serve to these stupid things. They have no importance except for antagonists to kidnap them and then released.Why do they even exist? Almost every novel has these scenes which have no importance except nerf Mc's abilities

Going to the enemy base knowing that they have his parents in their hands and then shouting like look I am here hold my parents as hostage so I can show everyone how despicable their leader is and how great I am towards my parent and forcing his father to see how his son is forced to beat himself because he and his wife got caught. Great job from a guy who lived in the divine realm where things are even harsher for a couple of thousand years. How did he survive there?
