Clearing the Area

Before he could finish speaking, a shout came from outside.

"Shopkeeper, clear the place!"

With those words, the originally drowsy innkeeper instantly became alert. He quickly ran to the door with a smile on his face.

"Brother Zhang, where is Master Ma? I heard early this morning that Master Ma was going to visit our little shop. The food and wine are all ready and fresh!"

"Master Ma went to invite Head Constable Wang. He'll be here soon. Clear the place first. There are a lot of people today, so clear all six private rooms upstairs and a few tables in the main hall to make sure there's enough space for our brothers!"

"Alright, rest assured, I'll take care of it!"

The innkeeper immediately shouted, "Waiter, clear those tables! And for those who just arrived, I'm sorry, but today is Master Ma's treat. Apologies for any inconvenience!"
