Being Watched

"I missed you so much, Emily." Nick whispered in his warm voice while his blue eyes were showing great love to his wife as he was gently caressing her hair.

They went downstairs in order to continue the party with their friends in the front garden.

Suddenly, Nick apologized to them for having to go to get his phone which he left on the other side of the garden.

He looked at his wife who was having fun with a group of boys and girls challenging each other who will drink more beer.

He smiled and headed to the other side of the garden.

The path between the front garden and the other one was full of grass and flowers and some lights.

Nick kept walking toward the other garden until the sound of the music started to get lower every time he walks further away from where the party was.

He quietly took out the garden gate's keys from his pocket to open it.

The other garden was a medium sized garden and it contains beautiful and simple decoration nothing too special.

He went to the table and picked up his phone, then he turned around and closed the gate after him.

Nick turned around after putting the keys back inside his pocket planning on going back to the party, but he bumped into someone's body... It was so close.

Him and the stranger guy were in the same height which was good because if he was any shorter or weaker, the guy would have probably ended up on the ground.

Nick raised his dark blue eyes in surprise to the person who bumped into him.

What caught Nick's attention was the weird glow inside the stranger's dark black eyes.

It's 11PM, there was not much light around, this is why the shine in his eyes attracted Nick's gaze.

The man had raven-colored hair and all his clothes were black even his eyes were dark black.

But even though this stranger's aura was terrifying, Nick could not take his eyes away from the stranger's shiny eyes.

Eventually Nick licked his lower lip nervously and moved away from the man's chest who was still holding his forearm as a natural reaction because the stranger thought Nick was about to fall.

" W-what are you doing here? The party is in the other side, man. Come on follow me." Nick has literally no idea who this guy is.

But he thought maybe he is one of his friends' friend, which is why he tried to act normal and ignore the strange way he was looking at him.

The guy didn't move.

He did not react at all.

Also he said nothing, instead he just kept staring into Nick's eyes.

And that scared Nick.

A lot.

"Well, I'll just go first and you can maybe follow when you want… Yeah, s-see you later." Nick gulped, walking past the stranger, heading to where his friends were having fun.

Nick lowered his gaze to the ground, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion, because of the strange weird behavior.

He raised his hand holding his chest, his heart was racing in fear.

Even though the stranger's eyes were beautiful but the his aura was still terrifying... But warm.

Nick just can't explain how he felt about this stranger.

He sighed deeply and looked behind him, trying to find the stranger, because he wanted to ask who he was and what he was doing in his party and whom he came with.

But there was no trace of the stranger.

Nick signed and decided to forget about him and head back to where his friends were enjoying the party.

But what he did not know is that he was being watched by those two black eyes that belong to the stranger.

These eyes were watching him how he smiles and how he laughs.

The boss was watching every small movement of Nick, refusing to take his eyes off of him so as not to miss any small detail of him.

Let's go back now to Nick who grabbed his beer glass as he approached his friends saying excitedly "I'm back."

"What are you planning to do to him sir?"

This was the voice of the head mafia's right hand man Bryan.

Daniel was standing beside him watching that Nick whom he still can not believe that he finally found him after searching for more than five months saying  What I wanted to do to him five months ago Bryan."

The party finally is over, it's the midnight, everyone went back to their houses, while Nick was still standing in front of the cars in the gate of his mansion saying goodbye to everyone, trying to ignore the sour feeling in his guts.

Someone has been watching him during the party and still can feel it.

Suddenly, Nick felt two arms hugging his waist from back which made him flinch but instantly relaxed "Anthony, you scared the hell out of me, dude."

Then he turned around and hugged his best friend who seemed to have just arrived.

Anthony laughed saying "Sorry, I missed you." Nick smiled and pulled his short best friend into a hug again.

When they finished biding goodbyes to everyone, Nick was standing with his best friend who was pulling his suitcases since he has just arrived, both standing next to the mansion gate "Anthony, I don't know why, but I feel like there is someone that has been watching me since the party."

The short male furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and looked around, but due to the darkness it was really difficult to see anything " Don't worry, Nick you just did not sleep well and you started hallucinating. Let's go inside and have some rest."

Nick sighed looking around his mansion one more time before going inside.

But what he did not know is that he did not see the guy who smirked while his eyes were shining in clear obsession and love whispering "You are so Clever."
