She sat up again and shook her head at him with a smile, "I'm okay, really, I just need a rest."
"No way!" Liam Yancey knew her character, always too proud to show weakness. He bent down, his palm on her stomach, gently massaging, "Is it here? Is it really just a stomach discomfort because you ate too much?"
"Hmm." Knowing what he was worried about, she nodded repeatedly to reassure him, "Don't worry, it's nothing serious, I just have a stomach discomfort."
The man's brow furrowed. Even though he didn't make another phone call, his heart was still on edge. He held her as they lay down, his hand constantly massaging her abdomen.
After about ten minutes, he got up and poured her a glass of warm water.
