I have read up to volume 3 of this novel raw, though it looks boring, do give it a chance. pros: it is a unique story unlike any there I have, it is about how the mc uses the players to his advantage cons: big plot hole include how the troubles caused by the mc never get the devs attention. This game world is real and the players are like beings from higher dimensions or something like that so. There will be lots of action and comedy. There is little romance to where I have read which is about 400 chapters.

This has got be one the best stories I've read here on webnovel in my opinion and I can't believe we finally reached the end and all I got to say is I'm fairly satisfied with then ending as I started this story when only 40 chapters were translated and now I've reached the end of this journey and man everything was great like the world background was just 😳 and Black Star is legit one of my favorite MC's ever so all in all if you haven't read this well then you just have to man.

I can say top favorite can't get enough of it burning a whole in my pockets but well worth it if they could make a anime of this I would definitely fund it with every bit of extra money I have extra and I haven't even seen the end

The translation team is so slow & lazy. Just look at the current # of chapters & the months this novel has been out. It will take half a decade before this novel is close to finishing. The worse part is that they charge a premium price for slow releases like if the author themselves was creating a new chapter a day.

I picked this book up when it my boi Han was just leaving for space and that was arround chapter 300. Thinking how the autor posted about a chapter a day means that this book has been in that making for a little over 4 years. This book was with me through high school and it feels amazing to see it come to such a great close. I hope the best for the author and translators.

The dude running this LN has been acting scammy this past week. 2 chapters in 8 days with the dude constantly refreshing the update timer. This was a joy to read but with these scum moves has been brought down.

I’ve read to chapter 62. The story is good so far it’s still the beginning and always takes time to develop. Just so long the author doesn’t use the cheesey rinse and repeat method of the same things happening a different way or place statistics of items/character info over and over to up the word count I’ll be happy as a reader. The only thing I really have a problem with is the release schedule. Not only myself , but other readers feel the same as well. It’s slower than most novels. I understand there’s problems with translation. The rating will keep dropping and most readers drop the novel till there’s enough chapters to read. Add another translator this novel is worth it. I’ll review again later depending on how things go and give a LOW rating if things don’t pick up...

The Legendary Mechanic is a story about Han Xiao, upon waking up, he realized he was a test subject of a evil organization in a game he played before. Later, he realizes that instead of being a player in the gamed, he is actually a NPC. I have to admit, the whole arc where the main character fights against the Germinal Organization is well and truly interesting, however after this the story becomes rather directionless. Translation quality is pretty good. There isn't any obvious mistakes and the writing quality in general is above average for this site. (4/5 stars) The story development is where I'm rather mixed. On one hand, the start of the novel was amazing, but the further down the line you go the more boring it gets. 90% of the story is the main character fighting against a evil organization, and the players reacting to this. While interesting at the start, the players become irrelevant. There isn't much point for them being there aside for comedy. Furthermore, there is way too much filler. Almost of all of the filler content is regarding the players, and I can't help but skip through 10+ chapters in order to get back to the story itself. Speaking of filler, for some reason the author describes very minute details about the main characters gear/mechs. Every single part is given a brief description, such as power output, damage, durability, etc. It's annoying. (3/5 stars) Character design is bad, straight up. There is almost zero interaction with other people aside from business relationships. The main character treats every single person as a business partner. There is zero romance, and side characters only seem to exist in order to advance the plot. They are incredibly one dimensional. (1/5 stars) World background is great. This novel does a wonderful job of introducing various locations and gives good descriptions for all of them, even when the novel focuses on the universe itself. There are quite a few plot dumps when introducing these, though. (4/5 stars) Overall, a novel with a very good start, but seemingly lost direction later on. It was vaguely stated that the main character had a plan, but it doesn't really seem like it. The main character doesn't really have a end-goal either. I give this novel 3.4 stars out of 5.

Excellent writer that knows how to captivate an audience with their beautiful storytelling and world-building (and they even know how to end a story well, a rare trait!), but also a terrible racist and nationalist who demeans and dehumanizes anyone not Chinese. If you haven't yet, don't start. It is both addicting and disappointing because of it, and you don't need to read this to live a fulfilling life, or even just find a good webnovel to read - there are other good stories out there that don't also dehumanize others.

this book started my reading adventute... even though I came and went and am only at 1100. I feel a bit emotional to see the completed status of the novel.

I’ve never made review here before. And i only go on here fo read but this book , this book was amazing. i started readIng this book in my freshman year or highschool and it just finished and i move out to University in 3 day… i cannot say how many times I came to this book when I was down and it brought me right back up wanting to know where Han would go or who he would face slap nex… im going to miss this book but we must remember the good times we has reading this and move on woth our lives. to people who havent read this Book yet, You are in for a real treat!

At chapter 1463 is the ending of the story (side story is goes from chapter 1464-1465, and is also the only side story available as there are no more) Btw the novel is great without a doubt. I hope there will be a sequel to it 😁

An excellent Novel, too bad it is ruined by a money grubbing translator Team. They stuff up and release 3 chapters in the wrong order then after we unlock them they delete them to re-release them in the right order so basically we receive 2 days with no new updates. And now they hold back the regular releases to build up enough stockpile to go privilege Who knows when we will get another chapter but I will never buy privilege for this crappy translator team

I liked this novel for a lot of reasons. It was similar to others of the same concept but had smooth storytelling and a decent background. Not a lot of grammatical and spelling errors and the release rate was decent. However as time went on releases slowed, to one and now it’s premium on top of the one a day release (which currently stopped since its premium stockpile is non-existent.) With the one chapter a day release it is at now regular readers won’t even get the normal one chapter until the stockpile is complete by the looks of things. Hopefully it might have been an error instead of greed. Overall, good storytelling with decent character profiles. If you like a game mc reincarnate who isn’t super op from the start this is a decent read. Just don’t expect a stable release stream right now.

Amazing story, though I wish the release rate was a bit faster. Character and world development is very appealing and the characters are really likable.

i never review anything but i followed this novel for so long and loved every second of it 😭 sad its ending but love to see it completed, if any of you happen across my comment while deciding whether or not to read this story i suggest you stop searching for a reason and hop right into this!!!
