Both he and the single-horned white whale were grade-9 creatures, but the latter was simply too massive in size. The power harnessed by its magic nuclei was much more powerful than that of the winged skeleton. Besides, fighting underwater was not the winged skeleton's forte, so a spell like Death Ripple posed no threat to the grade-9 magic beast.

The magic nucleus of the single-horned white whale was frighteningly massive, and so was the power it harnessed. Even if though the winged skeleton had absorbed the formidable golden zombie, he was still no match for the white whale.
