Is this really a melodramatic plot?

A year and a half ago, in pallu, Central City of surawizy Island, Indonesia.

A long-haired middle-aged man was shopping in a local supermarket with a beautiful young woman who was pregnant.

They had already bought a lot of things and were now waiting in line at the checkout counter.

"K," the woman said in fluent Chinese,"I want to buy a few more ice creams. I've been feeling very hot recently." "In my hometown, we call it a vigorous heart. I guess ..." She smiled and pointed to the bulge in her abdomen,"it should be a boy, right?"

"Okay," the middle-aged man named K smiled charmingly,"you wait here, I'll go buy it!"
