7 crash landing

Jason and Elle sat in their seats hoping nothing else bad would happen. After all that happened they were all sick of it.

Elle sighed. "This trip was only supposed to take 17 hours. What's taking so long?"

Jason looked out the window even though there was nothing but darkness. "I don't know but there probably just avoiding a storm or something."

Elle thought about a question that had been on her mind for a while. "Do you think the universe is trying to tell us something?"

Jason looked away from the window. "What do you mean by that?"

"I mean that what if all that is happening is a sign that we shouldn't have gone on this plane."

Jason shrugged. "I don't know ,but I think we just have to be careful."

The plane seemed to shift to its side a little to much. Some bags and beverages from the plane slid down to the side.

Jason stood up. "what's going on?"

Christy frantically tried to get to the front of the plane. "I dunno I think there's something wrong with the plane or pilots."

Jason slowly walked to the middle of the plane. He could barely stay in one spot because the plane seemed to be slowly turning more.

Christy and Jason got to the door with the pilots on the other end of it.

Christy knocked on the door. "Sir?...pilots?"

Jason grabbed the handle but it wouldn't open. "It's locked."

Christy banged on the door. "HEY!!! The plane is going out of control are you guys ok in there?!"

Still there was no answer.

Jason stepped back. "Christy could you come back over here?"

Christy walked behind Jason. "what are you going to d-"

Jason ran to the door as fast as he could ,and banged his body against the door as hard as he could ,but the door didn't budge.

Jason stepped back grabbing his arm. He could feel his arm go a little numb.

Christy stepped forward. "Jason stop. You could get hurt."

Jason got ready to do it again. "That doesn't madder if this plane crashes. Things will only get worse then."

Right before he banged into the door he noticed that the door started to open on its own.

He walked up to the door. "Uh that's strange. It wouldn't budge just before."

Jason pushed the door open. As he walked in he immediately ran back out.

Christy looked concerned. "What? What is it?"

Jason ran to the back of the plane. "Josh!"

Josh stood up. "What's going on? What's with the plane?"

Jason waved Josh to follow him. "No time to explain. Let's go."

Josh followed Jason to the front of the plane.

"Oh...now that makes sense."

Both of the pilots were passed out hunched over the controls.

Josh pulled one of the pilots out of the seat. "Jason. You know how to fly a plane right?"

Jason sarcastically said "Yeah definitely. I am a 20 year old that hasn't even finished college ,but I can totally fly a plane with out learning how."

Josh smiled. "Great!"

Jason stared at Josh as he pulled the pilot out of the room. "Wait I was joking! Wa-....you know what it doesn't matter."

Jason sat in the pilots seat. "Ok how does this work..."

Jason only saw what they did in the movies ,but in real life the controls were way more complicated.

Jason had no idea what he was doing ,but he grabbed the joystick out in front of him.

He turned the Joystick so that the plane would be even ,but he pulled it to far and the plane started to lean the other way.

Jason flinched as he heard passengers scream in fear. "Ah.. Sorry everyone!!"

Josh came back in the room. "Jeez. You do realize that your making things worse than when the pilot was passed out."

Jason nodded. "Yep...and we are all going to die here."

Josh stepped over to the copilot. He noticed the copilot was moving a little bit.

"Hey Jason I think he's waking up. We might not die."

The copilot started to mumble. "The plane...save it..help."

Josh grabbed the copilots arms ,and started shaking him. "Wake up! you need to land the plane!"

The copilot seemed to be dazed ,but he managed to hear Josh. He grabbed the joystick ,and leveled the plane.

The copilot shook his head trying to fully wake up. "Ah we can't land here.."

Jason looked at him. "why not?"

The Copilot pointed at the GPS. "We are above the woods if we land. we'll crash."

Jason thought for a moment. "Just do it."

Josh stared at Jason. "I'm sorry....ARE YOU CRAZY!!"

Jason looked at the copilot. "Josh tell everyone to buckle up. we are going to crash the plane."

Josh protested. "Jason! that's insan-"

Jason looked at Josh. "Josh go!!"

Josh left the room. "Everyone put you seat belts on!"

The copilot turned to Jason. "Are you sure about this?"

Jason pointed ahead of them. There was lighting in the distance. "You see that storm. It looks bad and if we go threw that storm I think we will crash anyways so it's better if we crash with out the storm part."

The copilot seemed impressed. "Ah your a smart kid."

Jason laughed. "Not smart enough to fly the plane."

The Copilot looked at Jason for a moment then back at the instruments. "You should go sit back down."

Jason stared at the copilot. "Why is there something wrong?"

The copilot hesitated to answer because he knew that the people in the front of the plane would most likely be the ones to die.

"Look kid you need to get back to your seat where its safe."

Jason shook his head. "Your telling me it's unsafe in the front?"

"Do you have a death wish or something! Go!"

Jason stood up ,and ran out of the flight deck. As he got to his seat. He thought about what the copilot had said. He didn't understand at first when he said that Jason had a death wish.

Then he realized. "The pilot is gonna die."

Elle heard him. "what?"

Jason looked at Elle with a panic in his eyes "He willingly put himself in the situation ,but why would he do that? He deserves to live."

Elle held Jason's hand. "Jason.... There's nothing we can do."

Jason heard tree tops hitting the bottom of the plane. He grabbed the arms of the chair. The plane got lower ,and lower. Then the plane hit something hard and pushed Jason forward hitting his head on the seat in front of him. His vision went black.

Jason woke up to the sound of screams. He tried to stand up ,but then he remembered he had his seat belt on. He pulled it off ,and tried to stand again. He felt dizzy as soon as he stood. He grabbed his head trying to stop his dizziness. He felt something wet running down the side of his face. He moved his hand and saw blood dripping from his hand.

When he recovered he started to look at his surroundings. He noticed that Elle ,and Hazel were not in there seats.

His mind went off that thought when he heard the screams again. He couldn't hear what the screams where saying. They sounded muffled. Jason looked for were the screams were coming from. He noticed that no one else was in the plane. well all living people. There were dead body's scattered around the seats.

Then he noticed one of the body's he recognized. It was Hazels mother. He thought about that poor little girl looking for her mom just to find her dead.

He heard the muffled scream again. "Hello? My name's Jason. uh.... Can you hear me!"

The scream was louder ,and more panicked then before which indicated that they heard Jason.

Jason continued to search. "Ok just keep yelling. I'll find you."

Eventually he got to where the yelling was the loudest. There was one whole section of the plane that had collapsed.

Jason heard the screams stop. "Uh..hey you still with me?"

Someone seemed to say something ,but Jason couldn't understand them. He walked over to the collapsed parts. He noticed that it had collapsed over a chair and Jason thought that is where they could be.

Jason stared to push the wreckage out of the way. Eventually he got most of it out of the way. Then He pulled a part of it revealing the person that had been screaming.

It was a girl that looked around 14 years old. She had blonde hair. Tears ran down her face.

"I can't move my foot. It's stuck."

Jason continued to pull the wreckage off of the girl. "Are you ok?"

The girl nodded. "At least I think I am."

"What's your name?"

The girl pulled one of her hands free. "Tessa. What about you?"

Jason looked at Tessa. "Jason."

Once he pulled the last one off of her he noticed something. "Tessa don't look down. ok?"

That seemed to make Tessa panic. "Uh what is it"

Jason saw that her foot had been fractured ,and it looked bad. Her shoe had fallen off so it damaged her food even more. The bone had broken through the skin Just barely. "Just don't look. I think your foot is fractured."

"Is it bad?"

Jason looked around for something to help her. "Your in shock so it doesn't hurt but if you weren't it would hurt....a lot."

Jason looked at Tessa ,and realized that he was only making her more scared. "Oh ,but you will be fine. I just need to find something to help you."

Jason looked around the plane. He spotted the first aid kit on the other side of the plane. He saw that it was banged up from the Crash. There was a water bottle that hadn't been opened yet so He took that to ,and headed back to Tessa.

He opened the first aid kit ,and he found some medical tape ,2 towels ,and bandaids.

Jason grabbed the tape ,and a towel. "This is going to hurt ,but I have to apply pressure to stop the bleeding."

Tessa nodded. Then Jason ripped the towel in two. He made it to were it was the perfect size for her foot. He started to wrap the now small towel around her foot.

When he pulled it tight Tessa bit her finger trying to focus the pain on something else then her foot. Then Jason taped the towel up so it would stay tight.

Jason put closed the First aid kit. "Ok done. Now all we have to do is get you out of here. And find out were everyone is."

Tessa was to busy on her injury she didn't notice there was no one there. "ok"

Jason helped her up. "Ok don't stand on that foot we don't want to make it worse than it already is."

Jason put her arm over his shoulder. They slowly got to the exit door. The door was wide open. And so was the door to flight deck. Except the whole front of the plane was ripped to shreds. Jason helped her out the door.

Once he got out of the door he noticed people all scattered around helping the injured. He wondered why they hadn't taken them out of the plane considering they where alive.

No one noticed them stepping out of the plane. They all seemed to busy helping others.

Jason helped Tessa down to the ground. "Um hey you guys forgot that some people where still alive in that plane."

Everyone looked at them in shock.

Jason saw everyone staring at him ,and Tessa. Jason whispered quiet enough so only he could hear himself. "Um ok..."

He looked around to find Elle ,but he didn't see her. "Has anyone seen Elle? She has brown hair ,and blue eyes."

Everyone seemed to come back to there senses. A woman walked up to them.

Tessa smiled. "mom!"

The woman hugged Tessa. "Are you ok? What happened to your foot? "

Tessa looked at her foot. "I- it was fractured so Jason here helped me."

The woman looked at Jason. "Thank you so much for helping her....We thought everyone else in the plane were dead."

Jason looked at her in confusion. "Did you check for a heart beat...for Everyone?"

The Woman nodded. "That girl. Elle she checked yours.....,but you didn't have a pulse. I don't know how your alive."

Jason couldn't wrap his mind around that. Did he die for a while then come back? Did they check it wrong?

"Do you know where she is?."

The woman shook her head. "No. The last I saw her was with a little girl. But they both looked ok."

Jason started to head off. "Ok thank you!"

Jason knew she'd be around here some where. The woods they were in had a lot of thick tree's. She could be any where ,and he wouldn't be able to see her if she was 20 ft in front of him.

Jason saw a man helping another man with a head injury. "excuse me? Sir?"

The man helping the other man looked up at Jason. "Oh Hi is there anything I can help you with?"

Jason nodded. "Have you seen a girl named Elle? She has br-"

"Brown hair ,blue eyes? Yeah she's with a kid around those trees." The man pointed to a bunch of trees ,and bushes.

Jason nodded. "Ok thanks."

The man noticed the blood on his face. "You need help. Your head is bleeding."

Jason started to walk away. "No it's fine really. It looks worse than it is."

He walked around the trees ,and sure enough Elle was with Hazel sitting on a log. Elle looked like she had been crying. ,But Hazel seemed fine. Which was strange considering her mother was dead.

They didn't notice Jason until he said "Elle?"

Elle looked up at him in shock. She quickly stood up ,and ran to Jason.

She hugged him almost knocking him over.

Jason stumbled back. "woah!"

Elle hugged him even tighter. Then she let go ,and put her hands on his face as if she was seeing he was real.

"Jason...how-....you died."

Jason shrugged. " Well I'm here aren't I?"

Jason looked at Hazel that almost seemed to be happy. "What's with her?"

Elle turned to look at Hazel. "I don't know ,but every time I asked she would just stare at me."

Jason Changed the subject. "Um where's Josh?"

Elle grabbed his hand. "I'll show you. Hey Hazel let's go."

Hazel jumped up ,and followed them. They headed passed some trees ,and they saw Josh talking to the pilot.

Jason walked up to them. "Hey."

Josh turned to Jason. "Oh Hi Jason. This is Paul the pilot."

Paul shook Jason's hand. "So I hear your the one who broke down the door to save all the passengers."

Jason knew that it was a good thing that he helped but he felt he was guilty for the copilots death. "Yeah.....something like that."

The pilot seemed to read his emotions. "Ron is a hero ,and a great copilot. He made the choice to sacrifice himself. It's not your fault."

Jason nodded. "Yeah....."

Josh looked at Paul. "Could you explain how the plane crashed in the first place?"

Paul scratched his head. "Well it's hard to remember ,but Ron ,and I were just flying the plane perfectly until something strange happened. Ron started coughing uncontrollably. Then I started to. After that everything just went black."

Josh thought for a moment. "Did you see anything strange like fog in the flight deck? Someone could have gassed you."

The pilot shrugged. "I'm not sure. I don't remember much."

Jason thought about who it could be. "I think I might know what happened."
