There was so much more to explore, I hate it when things just end or get left behind without being fully explored... Hirata propose to Mikako, take her back to his hometown, where they did meet a ghost. Mikako was dead and Hirata's crazy for a while. He had forgotten this memory When he regained his senses, thinking he come back to married to his childrenhood friend Sato, who was taken care of he during that time. That why he stay in his hometown when he could get a good job in big city. And why his marriage fall apart. He didn't really love his wife.
