2 48 Hours of Love

The first day passed. Zach knew that his days were numbered. Two. Just two more. He still couldn't open his eyes without blur, of medication and pain. The pain, but was hurled away through Aster's warm mellow voice. The ischemia kept getting worse, but out of love, Zach never felt pain.

Aster and the doctor were both in Zach's room. The doctor, sympathetically, asked his last wishes. 'Two', he said. 'I had two. One, it stands completed- love; pure, deep, true, immense love. The second,' he continued as he moved his fingers near Aster's, 'is seeing heaven, while I am still on earth'. The doctor was out of words, startled and speechless in shock and surprise. All the doctor knew was that it was not possible. But Zach believed.

As for Aster, she had forgotten that Zach was at his last days, so deeply in love were they. That noon, Aster hummed sitting next to Zach's bed, thoughtless, so hypnotized was she in his affection, but filled with lovely thoughts still. Zach. He awoke and sat up at the very note of her voice. 'Aster?' said he, promptly recognising her melody.

So beautifully and affectionately did he call out her name, that she caressed herself into his arms, draped her arms around his neck, her heart skipped a beat, the fragrance of him was hypnotic beyond reason. Gently touched his face, her fingers sank in his tendered skin, softly brushed her lips on his, She parted her lips and felt him washing over like a wave of warmth, curling her toes, unfurling all her senses as the taste of him nearly silenced all thoughts. Time stopped in a collision of senses when her lips met his. Savouringly kissed him with fond eyes and a heart, madly in love. He bent back her head across his arm and kissed her, softly at first, and then with a swift gradation of intensity evoking from her, sensations she had never known she was capable of feeling. He grabbed her legs to his waist and she passionately clinged. She met his gaze, then watched as his eyes slowly flickered from her eyes, down to her lips, then up, back again. Hearts raced, and they captured each other in that moment.

Later that night Aster hummed beauty and pure charm. Zach slept peacefully to her melodious tone. She sang-

'Oh my love, oh honey,

a day is still left,

death shan't and can't separate us so, take me in your arms and take my heart and love with you,

bring me heaven on your lips, on mine, and caress my heart and soul,

dear, still left is a day,

and I am still by your side'...
