Tan Yuan, who represented the Fire Glaze Mansion in the middle realm of the Southern Heaven Ancient Realm, was one of the few, if not the most, extraordinary Ten Directions Celestial Dukes in the Fire Glaze Mansion. Due to his extraordinary status, he was able to behave willfully and not show up after being summoned by the higher-ups of the mansion.

Mo Ping Zhi could have done the same and disregarded the higher-ups since he was an outstanding disciple in the Fire Glaze Mansion as well. However, he decided to face the music after considering the other six people who were eliminated along with him. This was the reason he was much more likable than Tan Yuan.

The other six disciples of the Fire Glaze Mansion were rather moved when they saw Tan Yuan standing alongside them and getting rebuked by the higher-ups. After all, they knew Mo Ping Zhi did not have to be there if he did not want to.
