1 Name´s Dante

Well, I guess i'm doing this now. Hi, reader,, i'm the author of this online journal/story. This is my first time using the internet to do this kind of thing, buuut I kind of blew my cash on…. Frivolities, and Internet is free at where i'm at , sooo

First, i will introduce myself. My name is Dantarium Virgilio Starks, or just Dante for short. I´m the first son of five of the ´most ancient and revered´ house Starks. I am 20, single, an avid pun master and above all a ¨wizard¨

Yeah, big surprise, right? first born son in a rich family,so he is loaded. Is single, so doesn't have any romantic attachments. Is 20, a good age for marriage, and is a wizard. Even i would admit that sound like the generic protagonist of some boring, slapstick novella some random nobody wrote to make a quick buck. but , if your willing to continue with me, i'll tell you what make me different

Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah

Ii'm a student of the Ling Academy of Magic. not as prestigious as you believe, but it has the basics. Transformation, enchanting, rune making, etc. you name it, and you´ll find it.

As I was saying, this is my last year in the Academy. i decided to reach out and specialize in rune making. many may say its a ´¨oring¨kind of magic that only the lazy and unmotivated like, but i really enjoy it.

I won't bore you with all the history or specifics of the field i follow, its to long and tedious for anyone who doesn't like the field to begin with. As matter of fact, i love it and there are still times i want to sleep on them lessons.but, in a nutshell, rune making is, as its name implies, the making and studying of runic structures.

Rune making, unlike all other magics, is an infinite algorithm that controls and bends phenomena to the will of the caster. If one can calculate all the different variables, they can cause all kinds of amazing stuff to happen. Paper can be as strong as steel. Swords made of ancient fire or bags that carry entire buildings can be made. The armours of legends are imbued to the brink wirth them. The most amazing part of them is that they can modify the flow of magical, breaking the limits between magic and mundane!

Yes, i know that those re only words of a user trying to explain his craft. But, the thing is that to many simply don't care for wht is not on the surface. Modern clothing is lined with small protections against the elements, bed sheets have automatic heating, sprinklers don't need electricity, etc. its just that it's so mundane that everyone just forgets about it.

Now, i can fangirl for the next few days bout rune making and the intricate details of my art, but i kind of have a test in the afternoon and i really can't afford to fail it, haha. The academy isn't that right about grading, but i'd rather avoid getting low grades, those can tend to lead to future problems with the family

If at this point, your still interested in me, follow long as we go and see what my world has to offer. The reason this part is in 1st person is because i would like to give n introduccion without many spoilers, and is also a assignment for my class. but after this it will follow 3rd person format.
