23 Ch. 23 Skill Tree
We moved out and started doing our quest we start out by going to the location of the Goblin King, rather we're looking for it since there's no actual place on where to find it but the villagers said that it's attracted to the smell of a girl. Now that I mention it, does that mean we could be targeted right from this very moment while moving with our wagon? Since Bishou is a girl.
After quite some time the grass started giving off a huge sound...or not. A wolf like thing came out all of a sudden, it looks like a wolf but it's big.
Bishou: Is this the Fenrir that I've been hearing about in the village?
Jade: What?
Bishou: The villagers told me that ever since that the goblin king appeared a lot of other monsters manifested too.
Jade: You think it's because of the summoned Heroes and manifested Sins?
It looked at us while our wagon stopped and we looked at it, and it seems like it's observing us rather than attacking it backs off and started running back to the woods and hid itself.
Bishou: Huh, I expected for the Fenrir to attack us.
Jade: I'm with you.
We continued finding the Goblin King along with the Other monster that lurks here, but even after three hours of searching there's still no sign of the monster which made us stop for a while and made a temporary camp in the middle of the woods, we let the horse rest for a while.
Jade: For now let's eat up.
Bishou: Yeah, thanks for the food.
As she said that she gobbled up the food and finished quickly.
Bishou: Say, do you miss the place where you're from?
Where did that come all of a sudden? Might as well.
Jade: Kinda.
Bishou: Really? Don't you miss your siblings? Your family? Your friends?
Jade: Well, there's that too but...
Bishou: But?
Jade: But, don't you think that you're free in this place?
Bishou: Hmmmm, I get what you mean but, for me I miss my family and friends, plus I just can't leave my grandfather and the dojo.
Jade: Dojo?
Bishou: Yeah, that's where I was trained, by my grandfather that is.
Jade: I see, meanwhile I'm living with my family I had four siblings you see while my family is in shambles the only one supporting our family is my mom while my dad has another women.
Bishou: Huh, then I guess we're kinda like the same.
Jade: Really?
Bishou: Yeah, except for the part where my dad is alive and with another woman that is, My dad died in a car accident when I was just a child while my mom got remarried to another wealthy man and forgets about me and left me to my grandfathers place.
Jade: I'm sorry to hear that.
Bishou: Don't be.
Funny how this person wanted to kill me when we first met, we talked and talked. Not knowing the time, before we could even notice it it's already getting dark and the night is about to come. That much time has passed, huh. I stand up and started talking once more.
Jade: I'm gonna get us some woods and stones to make a fireplace, can you do the tent?
Bishou: Leave it to me!
I then get the materials that we needed and made the fire. When the night came we decided to take turns on who's going to watch the perimeter so both of us can take turns on sleeping.
Bishou: All right, I'm gonna go first so you can sleep for now, I'll wake you up when it's your turn.
Jade: Got it.
I got into the tent and falls asleep.
Bishou: ..ade...J....e...Jade....
Jade: hrmm...
I woke up and opened my eyes and saw Leo in front of us. Why is he here? Is he the one lurking in here that the adventurers can't defeat? Is that Bishou they've got?
Leo: Sup, Long time no see Jade!
Amorette: Surely you haven't forgotten about me to right?
Bishou: Help!
Bishou tried to struggled but Leo doesn't budge at all even though Bishou is struggling. Amorette then imbues Bishou with a something.
Bishou: What's that!?
Amorette: Relax~ You won't die~ At least not yet, the poison I imbued into you is only a poison that paralyses it's host and makes you unconscious so no need to worry about dying~
Leo: Thanks for that, this girl doesn't give up at all sheesh!
After Bishou was paralyzed her consciousness began to fade, while whispering something.
Leo: So, how have you been lately?
Jade: Quite good, I guess, I even partake in defeating the drake.
Amorette: We know.
Leo: Don't you think that helping this people is pointless? Since you're not a hero.
Jade: I know that but what choice do I have, I'd rather team up with them than with you and destroy this world!
Leo: HAHAHAHA! Naive as always I see, don't you think that they deserve to be destroyed along with this world? They harness Pride, Envy, Lust, Gluttony and more sins.
Amorette: That's the reason why we're manifested in the first place, to start the destruction of this world because of these mere humans.
Jade: Then what about me? I'm not one of the heroes nor one of the sins.
Leo: I guess time is up.
Jade: What do you mean?
I heard someone from far away.
Bishou: J....de....Jade!
This again?
Bishou: Hey wake....UP!
Bishou then smacked me hard at my head after seeing her unharmed I told her about the dream I had about how she was kidnapped and how Leo said that the humans bought all of this to themselves.
Bishou: Then I just hope that I won't be kidnapped while you're watching the camp for us.
Jade: You can count on me.
I told her with a prideful tone. After all I have my shield and my barrier along with some various skills to protect her and me at the same time, while watching the perimeter I fiddled along with my skill tree. and looking at it, it really has more skill rather than just skills for my shield, since there are other skills that uses Sword, Axe, Bow and even Lance and Spears, there's even a skill that I can manifest all these weapons.
I leveled up those I can use and seems to be useful for me and the others, after spending all of my Skill Points I ended up having:

After allocating the skill points I have while scrolling down and looking at my skill tree there seems to be a skills that aren't in any weapon type but it states that its from the "???" skill tree, strange, still might as well allocate some leftover points from here. For now I have at least 24 Skill Points. I used some of the skill points and unlocked:
-Invisibility 3/3
-Poison 5/5
-Teleport 1/1
Seems like I can't unlock some other skills from this skill tree. I guess I shouldn't waste the points I have for now.
I woke up Bishou since it's her turn to patrol and guard the perimeter I've also told her that she about the skill tree and allocating the skill points to her skills, She told me that she'll work on it while guarding the perimeter, after that I got back to the tent and slept once more, this repeated for a while, until we saw the sun rising and with the Goblin King still haven't been found yet.
