19 Ch. 19 Meeting
After we heard the horn all the seven heroes the king including me, had a meeting at the Meeting hall.
King Titus: I have gathered you all so we can talk about the spoils and talk about the other upcoming Calamity but surely it'll take a few more months for another Calamity to happen.
Sia: Forget about that, I want to take my spoils!
Schild: Geez, aren't you being hasty about the spoils?
Sia: Well that's what I want from the very beginning.
Raijin; Yeah, I came here for that too!
Sia and Raijin: HAHAHAHAHAH!
Schild followed up with a huge sign.
Dia: Let them be for now Schild.
Schild: If you say so.
King Titus: Moving on, first off let's start with the spoils.
Geez, they're gonna start there? I just want to know about the upcoming Calamity I know that it's still a few months away but still.
King Titus: Please take this as a gift from the country of Dritiron and Queen Tina herself.
Queen Tina: Yes, please take them. This is the only way I can repay all the heroes from defending our kingdom from the Drake.
I'm not a hero tho. After the Queen said that a lot of Knights started going in at the meeting hall and carrying a bag of gold rather a bag it's kind of like in a barrel, I can see that these Knights are having a hard time carrying them. Sia and Raijin looked at the barrel of gold with joy, what are they thinking right now anyways? But Helina and Lansa doesn't seem interested in it either, while Cara and Bishou seems like they're talking to each other on what should they do with the barrel of gold. After that the Knights have left the room and looked like they were tired. They can't be blamed since they fought a Drake and a huge wave of monsters. We moved forward and talked about the upcoming Calamity few months from now.
Queen Tina: As much as I am thankful to you heroes for defending my kingdom, I'm also afraid that this isn't the last.
Lansa: We know about that so where is it gonna be? The 2nd Calamity I mean?
Queen Tina: We are not sure for now, but we will look it up as quickly as we can.
Cara: I have a question.
Queen Tina: What is it?
Cara: What are we supposed to do while waiting for the 2nd Calamity?
Dia walked forward from King Titus's back and started speaking.
Dia: About that, We plan on making you more experienced with using your abilities as well as leveling up along the way.
Bishou: There are levels in this world?
Everybody was surprised to hear about "leveling up", same goes for me of course but King Titus and the other was surprised too. Now that she mentioned it, the first time I got here she got mad at me since I wasn't able to defeat the monster that was chasing me and scolded at me after that.
Cara: I see, no wonder there's this something that pops up in the side of my vision every now and then, I thought that was just some sort of gimmick after being summoned from this world.
Bishou: Now that you mentioned it...
Everyone seems intrigued, including me. Cara is right there's something at the side of my vision, It has the text that says "Lvl.60: Unknown"
Bishou: There's a text in mine it says "Lvl.60: Dagger Hero"
Cara: Yeah, mine says "Lvl.60: Gun Hero"
Everyone looked at their side of vision and saw their own Levels.
Cara: Another question, Why didn't you tell us this?
Once again King Titus and the others were surprised by Cara's question.
King Titus: We thought you knew, since all of you are using your abilities as if you know them.
Dia: I thought it was obvious.
Queen Tina: Wait, maybe they didn't notice it because they didn't know that it existed.
Is Queen Tina saying that the only way to know about "this" system is for us to notice it? This is a stupid mistake even for a King and Queen, aren't they supposed to tell all the Hero's they transported from another world to here? Shouldn't have that been a common sense? So are they saying we fought in the frontlines without knowing about this?
Lansa: Isn't that dangerous?, What if we fought the Drake underleveled and at the same time there was this system where we can harness our abilities, What if we died because of your stupidity!?
Lansa looked at King Titus with rage. I can't blame him to be honest. The other heroes didn't know what to say, while the King and Queen stayed silent and was baffled for their own stupidity.
Helina: Calm down, Lansa.
Lansa: Calm down?! You want me to calm down when we nearly died out there when we fought that monstrosity?!
Helina: ....
Lansa: Don't think that you can apologize by just giving us pile of gold. Tsk!
Lansa then walked out and Helina followed her.
Helina: Wait!
The room was filled with silence.
Cara: Well....with that being said, please educate us about this world and do your job as Kings and Queens of this world and don't make us look like someone you people can use just because we are the so called "Heroes"
Raijin: I agree with her.
Bishou: Same goes for me.
Schild looks troubled because of the current situation.
Schild: Awawawawa!
Dia then steps up and said something.
Dia: I understand, I will explain everything there is to explain and anything I know about this world and how it works.
Cara: I see, thank you about that. If possible I want to start as soon as possible.
Dia: Agreed, then we shall discuss about it tomorrow along with the other heroes.
Like I said, I'm not a Hero tho, plus what does it mean "Unkown" on my status.
King Titus: I want to accompany the heroes along with Dia and explain anything I know too if possible.
Queen Tina: Same goes for me.
Everybody agreed and returned to their respective rooms but before we got back we informed Helina and Lansa about tomorrow, He was being calmed down by Helina while in his room after quite some time Lansa calmed down and agreed to join tomorrow. With that out of the way, I guess all we could do now is rest, Geez, I'm beat and at the same time if I'm not one of the 7 Heroes nor one of the 7 deadly sins, what's my purpose? Why am I summoned? Because if I was a of the 7 deadly sins then there should be something like "Lvl.60- (There something here that says what Sin I am)" right? I guess the only way to find out is talk to one of the Sins, specially Leo. What am I even thinking, I should get some sleep too.
